Horrible. First, he was in quite a hurry. Told him over phone on Friday we could reschedule to another day if needed but he came (I had scheduled on a Wednesday for Friday appt.). He barely diagnosed problem. Says there was a line leaking but if it had been leaking, there would have been water on the floor (or a water mark - and there was not). Replaced a valve. (on GE website, valve retail cost was $172 (I'm sure company doesn't pay retail cost). He charged $299 plus tax ($322 total) which is over $4/minute for his time. He mistakenly pulled out a water line and put the line in his mouth to lubricate it to put it back in. This is the line that water will flow through for my family to have ice and water and he put it in his mouth! So, we get to have water that goes through his saliva. Disgusting. He damaged my wood floor when moving the refrigerator with a deep gauge. He was in a big hurry and couldn't do things right. It's still not working. I'm defrosting the entire refrigerator/freezer bc he said a reservoir was frozen. It's been defrosting for 24 hours and still not working. I would absolutely NEVER hire this company again. When I called the company to indicate what he had done (immediately after he left), they said they'd send the same guy back to clean the line. I don't want him in my house. Didn't offer anyone else or offer anything else to rectify the problem. Guy on phone agreed repairman should never have put the line in his mouth. They have food grade lubricant that can be used (it was likely in his truck and he was in too much of a hurry to go outside to get it). I generally wouldn't give such a review but I contacted the company first and got nowhere. I strongly recommend against using this company. Their fee to come out and diagnose is $69 (which is reasonable) but they pull a bait and switch so once the guy's in your house, the repair cost is excessive and seemed to be pulled out of thin air. He didn't base it on actual time spent working on the appliance.
