They were very prompt and very good. They did what we asked, and I was pleased with their service. They did leave the bathroom needing a huge clean up, however.

It was good. The plumber did what he was supposed to do and even pointed out a few things we needed to do. He was at the home for about an hour.

It was fine. We had one plumber do the work.

I signed up for the $69 drain cleaning special ARS offered through Angie's List with the intention of using it to clean my garage drain. But when the technican arrived, he informed me that the special only applied to drains in the house itself (even though the garage is attached). This exception was nowhere stated in the fine print, and to clear the garage drain, I would have to pay $400. At least, he applied the coupon to the cost. A high pressure machine on a trailer was brought in to clear the drain. After the crew had finished, I thought it was strange when they told me to go out and buy a shop vac, since the drain would need additional vacuuming. I mean why am I clearing the drain after paying ARS $400 to do just that? From my experience, ARS is pricey, and the offer did not clearly specifiy which type of drain qualified for the special price. In fact, its purpose seemed to serve as a a gateway for more expensive jobs. They're alright, but I believe there are better options out there.

I thought that they were over priced.

I'd bought an Angie's List deal for $200 worth of plumbing service for $99 hoping to get a leaky faucet repaired and snake some drains that seemed a little blocked. The plumber came on time and was pleasant enough, but after looking at my faucet, he said he couldn't fix it without a part from the manufacturer. I had him go ahead and do the drains. When it came time to pay, he told me I couldn't use the deal I'd purchased toward the cost of clearing the drains. I ended up paying more than $400 out of pocket, plus the $99 for the deal that I wasn't able to use. I looked at the fine print on the deal later and didn't see any language that indicated that clearing my drains would somehow be precluded. Overall, it was a terrible experience and a very costly one. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

It went even though we paid extra in parts.

When I called the provider to inquire about the price of my project, I was told that the plumber coming for my scheduled date would have that information. When he arrived, I was then told that the job would cost almost $300 MORE than my Big Deal. Had I known the cost before this, I would not have purchased the deal. The plumber was professional and gave me an estimate if I ever wanted the job to be done by the company, but at this cost, we are doing it ourselves.

I am getting a refund because the estimate was more than I expected. I asked the customer service rep to please tell me how much it costs to replace the sink and she said that was something I would have to ask the plumber. I just didn't know cost of plumbing up front, so I would probably call them next time before purchasing the deal. The technician was very nice and understanding.

They came and took a look at the project and said they would come out the following day. He called the next day and said they did not want to do the work. I had my water shut off for two days thinking they were going to come in and repair, so I was upset with them for not completing this project. He said I should request a refund on this deal.

I did learn some things from them, but he did not perform detailed work like a plumber typically does. He did more of a walk through. I am thankful for what I learned.

I chose not to have the company perform the work because I felt their prices were too high.

The Plumber came and looked at the three jobs I had hoped he could do in two hours. These included simply snaking a lavatory sink($89 at Sal's), replacing the flapper and water level valve in the toilet and water intake.($19 at Home Depot and I did it my self in 25 minutes in the end.) and replacing a shut off valve to the toilet.($39 at Sal's). He reminded me that the coupon was $99 for $200 worth of work, not two hours of work, but I figured fine, should be about the same. He said the bill for these three things was I believe $512.00. I just thought that was way too much and the fact that I have had the work done or did it quickly myself for less than $150 proves my point. The plumber was very courteous, prompt, and professional hence the average of C in my rating. I just felt the price was way over the top.

He was alright and a nice guy. He inspected everything and asked me to just replace the valves and not to spend too much money on plumbing since it was an old house and not worth it. He was detailed in his explanation and had a checklist to see if he had covered everything.

The company called later in the day and said he couldn't return for 3 days - unacceptable. Both sinks were unusable, and I wasn't available in three days. They said they'd call back if someone else could return, but I got no phone call, so i left. (several hours later - about 7:15 p.m.) Apparently they sent someone to my home about 7:30, but since they hadn't called me, I was no longer at home.

Had to replace supply lines. Charged 10 x cost of material. Did not pay. Did not replace pop up drain which was included in the parts supplied by me. Got into argument with plumber. He was not aware of the Big Deal payment and what it involved. Got into an argument and left without additional payment or leave a receipt. Told ARS in phone survey about poor service. Supposed to call back, Never did.

On or about March 12, 2014 I spoke to a Kelly Liggitt on the phone. She ask me what needed to be done. I explained to her that I had 2 toilets that were not flushing properly and a bath tube that was draining very slowly. I also had a bathroom hot water faucet handle that was stuck to it base. She said OK and would send a man out. A plumber from the company showed up a few days later, I believe his name was Don and informed me that he did not clean out toilets because they were made out of porcelain, would have to charge me the normal hourly rate to clean out the tube. And did not even touch the faucet but told me that I should buy a new one. This is the second time I have used an Angies List deal and have found them to be as the old saying go's, "You get what you pay for". You pay little you get little. William Foust

We called in the morning and they sent a service tech out right away. We were very impressed with that. The gentleman was professional and well manored. He told us how much it would cost right up front and told us what we needed to make sure things would work the way they should. He also checked for leaks in the kitchen and the upstairs bathroom without us asking him to. He didn't waste any time in getting to work and he finished the job in just a few hours. We are impressed and very happy with the work he did and we will call them again if need be.

The plumber was very professional and was able to complete the entire job during one appointment even though the replacement of the pipes was not originally planned.

The service man was courteous, friendly and efficient.

When the technician came, he told me that both of my toilets needed replaced. He said that he couldn't get the parts for the first toilet because it was too old. I showed him the kit I had purchased with the parts. He then said that the other toilet would cost an additional hundred dollars to plunge. I told him I didn't need the service and fixed the issues myself. I called the GM of the company and he was outstanding. He refunded the original charge and recommended that I get the refund for the second offer through Angie's List.

The service did not turn out good at all. About an hour or so after he left, there was a severe leak in the area, with the pipe having a hole, and the water ran. We called them back, the receptionist at that end treated it as a non-emergency, and so he didn't come back until the next day at 2pm. She never told the technician that we had a leak from the work we had done previously, she treated it very casually. As a result, I got a $42 increase in my water bill. He said that I didn't want to change the old pipes, and so he had to make do with what we had, and it broke within an hour of him being here. He came back out and fixed it, and we haven't had a problem since. I thought the price was good. Once they did the correction, it seemed to be okay. If he knew that the pipe was compromised, he should have found a way to tell me about it, rather than leave it there knowing it would break in a few hours, and costing me extra with the water company. He came about 3 hours after the time that he had quoted he would be here, because of the previous job that he was at.

n't wint went fine but while he was fixing a bunch of leaks reared there heads and the price went up and up.. and i had to repair knocked out ceiling and wall. I had to hire another repair man to fix on a just remodled kitchen. the charges were confusing and I didn't have any choice. How do you get estimates when you don't know what is going to happen. If there had been away to test all the pipes before he started and then given me a price i would have gotten estimates. Sometimes you just can't win

The drain is running. He left a mess that took us hours to clean up.
