George Davis and his team quickly and efficiently found the source of my roof leak and repaired the area. Would recommend and hire again.

Owner George Davis of ARC Home Improvements did our roof in 2012 he had a good relationship with my husband, in 2018 I had water damage in my attic I called George Davis I told him that my husband had recently died and he told myself that my chimney needed tuckpointing and he wanted $1,500 for the chimney repair he lowered the amount to $1,300 I trusted Mr.Davis and decided to allow him to do the chimney tuckpointing 1-26-2018 he told myself to purchase Kilz paint once he finished the chimney tuckpointing he also told myself he would give me some Kilz paint to paint in the attic he never gave myself any paint. Mr. Davis doesn't specialize in masonry work, my attic kept leaking my father and others told me that Mr.Davis estimate was too expensive and he was taking advantage of my grieving. I reassured my father and others that Mr.Davis had a good relationship with my deceased husband. My father painted in the attic 4 days later and he kept telling me that it was still leaking and that Mr.Davis is not honest. I texted Mr.Davis 3 weeks 2-23-2018 later and notified himself of more water damage in my attic, he came over immediately and told myself that fiberboard was placed in my attic and told myself that it is an easy repair that I can do it myself. I decided to ask Mr.Davis for an estimate to replace 3 panels and the other side of the wall he told me $1,800. I was then convinced that Mr.Davis is greedy and trying to take advantage of my grieving due to the loss of my husband. Mr.Davis texted myself on 3-1-2018 asking if I made a decision on the drywall. I told him to come down on his price he called me and tried to talk me into his ridiculous estimate telling me that once I sell my house I would make a profit and he knows that estimate is high. Mr.Davis doesn't care about my deceased husband and that I am a single mother with a disabled child, he is a very selfish greedy person looking for a Payday from me,he got upset when I told him I wasn't going to give him that amount and he never came out to fix the leakage until I texted him. I got another estimate from a honest drywall company 3-3-2018 they can't do any drywall because the attic is still leaking and told me to call the roofer to fix the chimney. I texted Mr.Davis and he sent his workers over they checked the roof and wanted to check my boiler was told that my chimney has issues do to the boiler or because the chimney needed a flue liner I got a second opinion and was told that I needed a chimney flue liner. I received several estimates and reasons for my leakage in my attic, I had 4 contractors over my house and everyone told me that I was ripped off and that the chimney tuckpointing wasn't the problem for the leakage in my attic, I filed a claim with my home owners insurance company and finally got a resolution to my leaking attic, I had a chimney specialist come out 3-19-18 and inspect my chimney was told that I needed a chimney flue liner, I got my chimney flue liner installed 3-20-18 animal guard & weather cap, concrete top chase pan, flashing and roof cement and moisture resistance (water shield) payment $700. I was told to wait a few weeks to make sure all is well, my boiler is now running normal. Mr. Davis knew what the problem was he just wanted more money from me for repairs he is not honest . He keeps insisting that I need money for a new boiler and repairs to my old house, he doesn't know my financial situation. Refund $700 for the proper repairs done on 3-20-2018.. The tuckpointing job was shoddy and the metal chimney cap that was placed on my chimney was cemented on to my chimney. I had 3 chimney specialist come over and look at my attic, they immediately told me that I needed a chimney flue liner and the leakage was due to condensation and that the chimney cap that Mr.Davis placed on my chimney had to be removed. Mr. Davis wanted to come over and run a hose on my roof, I was advised to not let him come over he doesn't have my best interest for the solution. If he didn't know why the roof was leaking he could of started with the flashing.

They did an amazing job. They were right on time, professional. They did an awesome job. They were CLEAN. No doubt I;d hire again

These guy are very professional and truly nice. They did a great job taking down a chimney and patching the roof. They think carefully about what needs to be done and are tidy as well. Plan to use them again for another job. They stuck around during the winter months and helped demo and rebuild our 100+ year old Lakewood house. Sort of a jack of all trades although it wasn't their specialty. They even went above and beyond to lift a heavy piece of furniture through the second floor door.

George was very responsive and came out when he said he would and completed the job.

George Davis showed up on time and finished the work in about half the time he told me that it would take to complete. I am completely satisfied with the response time, estimate, time, and professionalism I experienced with ARC Home Improvement and specifically with George who was outstanding!! I will definitely hire for future jobs.

This is a family owned company and was recommended to me on Next Door . From the beginning the son was courteous and and professional and so was the father. They explained everything, made recommendations and i felt their price was reasonable. The work looks satisfactory and they went the extra miles for me with a few other things they noticed. They work with various forms of payment which is always a winner.

He was able to do all the things from roofing, chimney to change my locks. He did a great job! He was very good and very helpful with everything. Very friendly!

Was very good at keeping in touch and rearranging the schedule as needed since we were battling constant rain. Liked the fact that he did not use power washing to remove moss and mold. Roof looks very nice. Provides warranty on mold.

This is the second time that we have used George Davis. He has done great both times. The first was for a roof leak two years ago with no problem since repair. This time was for a siding repair. This was a small project so I expected the price to be relatively high but please do not think he was overly expensive. He took the time to find the manufacturer of our 15 year old siding and provided an exact match. He fixed several additional siding areas with the purchased supplies. He made two trips to our house for the repair and included an assessment of the roof status. We would definitely use his company in the future and will obtain a quote when time to replace the roof.

My friend just had her roof installed today and she is raving about the quality of work and product and the professionalism of the owner and workers. I am looking at a new roof and will be contacting them for an estimate. She had 4 estimates, 1 lower and 2 higher. ARC was in the middle.

Overall, the experience was good. They showed up on time and got the job done within the time they said they would. They cleaned up very well. I was pleased overall with the crew and the work they did.
