The pipe connection has two different metals, and they are reacting with each other, and and are rusting. Called them and no warranty. It's only been 6 months.

Came out to home twice and did not resolve issue. Service job rushed through test and stated Water heater is firing up and couldn't explain why hot water wouldn't fill a tub. Rushed out of house before walking fast before me like he had stole something. Shady as h***. Don't trust this company.

Do not use this company. Extremely unprofessional and will not do a good job. Office manager has a nasty attitude and is very rude.

I am so thankful A-1 Affordable Plumbing has a relationship with my home owners warranty company. Billy is so knowledgeable about many plumbing issues and I was blessed with having him show up for my repairs. He explained my problems in a manner that I was able to understand and receive. He also answered many follow up questions I had. He even offered to clean the area he performed work on. For several years I had issues with my water pressure and other plumbers were unable to identify that my water softner was the culprit. I will definitely refer my friends and family to A-1 Affordable Plumbing.

They were chosen by my Home Warranty Company to do repairs covered under contract. It went perfectly. Appointment made quickly, plumber, Ralph, called prior to arrival and was on time. He fixed what needed fixing, and was on his way. My house was left clean with a minimum of fuss. My plumbing is all working great, could not ask for anything more.

The cost is $175 and the toilet is free because of our home warranty. The service was fine. It was easy and there were no problems. They are very professional. I was referred to them by our home warranty company. The work they did was as expected. They were very responsive and they explained everything to me in an easy manner.

It was good. They were fair. We used a home warranty company. They were an A, I guess because we just had the deductible. They were pretty responsive.

We had been told by some other folks that there was a clog in our sewer drain and they did not have a blade strong enough to take care of it. Billy came and checked the drain and found that it was clear. He explained what may have happened with the other workers to make them erroneously conclude that there had been a clog. I really appreciated his honesty, and he even mopped up the floor when he was done working! He was also prompt, polite, and professional.

Had another provider finish job.They couldn't find blockage. .

The shut off value to my washer did not work. This was discovered when a new washer was being installed. I contacted by home warranty company and they assigned the job to A 1 Affortdable Plumbing. Bill came out, calling me first, and was very professional in his approach to the job. It involved moving the washer, removing and replacing the valve, attaching the correct hose to the washer and moving eveything back. He also pointed out the need to keep water in the trap to a drain that was not often in use, and gave me a price on other work I may have done in the future. I would definately call them again. I did not grade price, because this job was within the warranty coverage and the cost was only my deductible. I should mention that not only was Bill very professional, and concerned about not causing any damage or mess, but the office and scheduling staff is great. I received a call just as the warranty company told me I would, and they took care to explain the process, not expecting I would know how this is processed.

It took the plumber about 10 seconds to discover my faucet was leaking beneath my sink. He said I needed a new faucet. Someone from his office called the warranty company and said my faucet wasn't covered. I asked how much it would cost to have him replace it, he said $250.00. I had to pay $100.00 for him to come out then pay an additional $250.00 for a total of $350.00 to replace a faucet. NO THANKS. I'll replace it when I remodel my kitchen this summer.

A-1 Affordable Plumbing sent a person on time and the job was done on time with minimum fuss and correctly. The deductable was charged.

There was water leaking/dripping in laundry facility room at basement of our house. Under home warranty, the service provider came to our house and inspected the area of problem. An issue was found with the faucet connected to washer. They switched with new faucet and leaking no longer exists until now. Service was appropriate and excellent. I paid only $75 (deductible) because the service was covered by home warranty.

We were assigned A-1 Affordable Plumbing as part of a home warranty program with a $100 deductible. We were called within 24 hours, and an appointment was set up. Mike and Bill were prompt, courteous, amiable, and professional. They also did their work cleanly and quickly. I would call them again with no hesitation.

I was assigned A-1 Affordable Plumbing as part of a home warranty request. A1 called within the required 24 hour time frame. I believe the person I spoke with was Diane. She offered me a time frame of noon to 4:00 PM. I explained that I am a working professional who was unable to leave work in the middle of the day and asked that I be placed towards the end of the time frame, and quot; as close to 4 as possible.and quot; When Friday came, Diane called at noon on the spot - right in the middle of my work day - to tell me the plumber would be at my home in 30 minutes. When I asked for the contractor to come later in the day, Diane told me she couldn't do that because it would inconvenience the plumber who starts on the east side and moves west back to their offices. I asked if they could accommodate my request on a later day and she told me it would be and quot;hit or miss.and quot; That's a frustrating thing to hear when you are in need of a plumber. I asked to speak to a manager or the owner to see if they would be willing to work with me. Diane told me and quot;I'm it.and quot; I saw on Angie's List that the owner was Bill Freedson and asked to speak with him by name. Diane refused, said he wasn't there, and that she was going to call the warranty company to have the contract reassigned. She then hung up. I called back to speak with the owner, Bill Freedson, and Diane answered, said she had called the warranty company to have the contact reassigned. This restarted the time frame to have my issue fixed. Again, frustrating when you have a plumbing issue. Diane said I should and quot;call in the morningand quot; to speak with Bill Freedson, when I clarified that the next morning was a Saturday, Diane said the owner was not in on Saturday, that she had another call, and hung up. I called back a third time to speak with the owner, Bill Freedson. This time Diane told me he would be there in thirty minutes and I should call back then. In thirty minutes, I called back a fourth time to speak with owner, Bill Freedson. I was told at that time that Bill wasn't there. I was told he would call me back. I will update if ever I hear from Mr. Freedson.

Arrived on time and completed work promptly

The second time they repaired leaks caused my pipes freezing, they recommended a company that could install a heat vent under the floor, which solved the problem - the company that did the work was also wonderful. They had to go underneath the cottage into a dirt crawl space to repair all of these leaks. I thought it would be around $700, but it was only $200. They spent about 3 hours doing the work. I should have written this review eons ago.

They are excellent. They gave me a discount for cash. They cleaned up after themselves.

He was very informative gave us cheap ideas that we can do ourself to fix some of our plumbing issues. He was courteous,friendly,punctual, and did a great job! I would definitely recommend this company.

Since we have a home warranty, we had to go with a company selected for us. After recently reading the article in the Angie's List magazine, I was concerned about what to expect. The plumber who was assigned to us was right on time, was extremely friendly...greeted our mini dachshund, our two young sons, did his job, didn't leave a mess, and problem solved. We were extremely pleased with his promptness, his attitude, and his work.

I have a home warranty and they were recommended to me to fix my sump pump. I spent $75 on that work. I will be using him to install a back-up sump pump. They were punctual and professional. He answered all my questions and he was very helpful. They were responsive.

They taught me a few things and brought things up to code. I thought the price was fine. They picked up all the stuff, there was a lot of water that over flowed onto the floor and it had a reddish tint. I do have a few spots on my basement floor that are reddish, but I don't care about that. They didn't break anything, etc. The two guys where nice and chatted with me a bit, they seemed to know what they were doing.

They were great, I really liked them. He was very friendly, knowledgable and took time to explain the detail to me which I appreciated.

It was great. They were nice. It was affordable. There were no problems at all. The price was covered by our warranty. The price listed was for the deductible.
