Flint's Hardwood Flooring

Could not have gone worse, Did not know what he was doing, he told us to put a heater on our brand new wood to dry it out, he said go buy one and leave it on the wood for as long as we can day and night, so the wood would shrink, 3 months later when he finally came back after many phone calls, he said I can't lay this wood it's warped, The heater warped it but of course he would not admit that. So he quits, leaves our house a mess, we had to pull up the mess he started, he even left his tools, Very unprofessional. I might add that our house has been a mess for months because we had to get everything out of the way so he could lay it, said he would have it done like over a weekend. Our house it still messed up its been since thanksgiving this is March, since we had to start all over with buying new wood and waiting on someone new to install it etc. I paid him a very big price to start so he could purchase the material, needless to say I got the material but don't need it now, So I am out 4,000.00 already, the glue, the finish product and my wood, which he ruined. We had no contract just his word, so if you choose someone not a company you are basically screwed, the wood was there for him to inspect from the very beginning, the wood just needed to acclimate a few weeks on its' own and it would have been fine, not almost 3 months with a heater, we didn't know he was supposed to be the floor guy. I have never said anything negative about a person or company before but this guy really did us wrong. And 4,000.00 to me is a lot of money, not to mention the way we have had to live for months, couldn't even have Christmas, no tree, no family (he said he would have it done before Christmas by the way). I strongly suggest not using Flint Flooring in Clarksville or Blanchester where ever he is. I asked for some of my money back he said you aren't getting any of your money back. I will never choose a person to do work any more, always a company that you can go back on if you need to.
