BEWARE.. DO NOT... I REPEAT DO NOT TRY TO USE THIS COMPANY. The only good thing about this company was the receptionist. She was as sweet as can be and worked hard to get a tech over to our home ASAP, but when the tech arrives he saw that I was a women and thought I was a complete idiot. Not only did he try to state that he's never seen a system like ours before (even though we have a newer system) but stated that we needed a part from the inside of our furnace that he wouldn't even know how to begin to get. Which was laughable, because I knew better and because it was our outside unit that was giving us issues something that I had already stated. So I called apex and guess what? Not only did they say that he tried to scam me, but that if he was truly HVAC certified then he would know the system we have and that it is fairly new. And guess what if the guy even bothered to open my outside unit at ALL he would have seen that a mouse shorted the system. 🤦 A mouse that was still sitting between the two bolts. SO APEX replaced the two parts at a reasonable price the very same day and we have heat. The saddest part about all of this is I told both men that showed up that "looked" at my system that there are four kids, a toddler and an elderly women in this home and that we really really needed to get the heat up and running before the freeze storm came in and that I did not have new system money. You know what this man said "well I don't know what to tell you. You need a new system and walked out the door." I was so distraught, because my kids and grandma were gonna freeze in this house, because I couldn't afford to drop 20 plus grand on a new system and the house is so large that space heaters wouldn't do much. I'll tell you what I did though, prayed and something told me to get a second opinion. Which thank God I did cause they were a good honest company. Apex!! Not only did they go above and beyond to get our heat running, but they didn't try to price gauge us which I was surprised because when I called it sounded like a big corporation to which I thought great they are going to be pricey, but when I called they offered a very reasonable service call so I thought what the heck might as well see if I get the same answer. Long story short Do NOT use this company. Call Apex. I promise you at the very least you'll get honesty and chivalry.

The repairman came and checked the flame sensor and found that it needed cleaned. He did this and showed me what to do in the future if it occurs again.

Last year I came home after being away for several months and my heat was not working. It was about 9 pm and I was able to reach someone without any problem. She walked me through a check on my system over the phone and we discovered that the problem was not with my furnace. Someone had turned off my gas valve while I was away. One year, my furnace went off over the Easter weekend and they were easy to reach. The furnace went off due to too many power interruptions.
