Description of Work: I had a great experience with Jim's Tree Service! I worked directly with Chad throughout the engagement. He came to our house and provided insight on the tree removal process and provided a competitive quote. As the tree removal was part of a larger project, he worked the weekend to keep us on track. He expertly completed the job, including all clean-up. I highly recommend him and intend to use this company for any future tree work.

Description of Work: Removed all traces of a large fallen branch from my yard.

Description of Work: Jim took down 5 very large trees, ground the stumps, trimmed another tree and cleaned up a brush pile. He and his crew did an excellent job. Our yard has never looked so good! I will definitely use him again and I highly recommend him.

Description of Work: We have the emerald ash borer and tons of ash trees. I was hoping to try to save the big one, but realized after talking to the agricultural department for Ohio that the battle was already lost and I wanted to remove the trees that are in our backyard before they are a safety issue with storms. We had a very big ash tree near our house that was starting to lose big limbs and we had a dead one, some that were half dead and a river birch that was dead. Jim has performed tree removals for us before and I came to Angie's list to try to find him again. He is a unique find in both how awesome he is with the tree cutting and how kind and responsive he is. Such a nice guy and the guys with him were nice as well. They worked very hard in some serious heat and removed about 17 trees. Some were difficult because of how long and lean they were and some were difficult because of how big they were. They saved the swingset that was built in the trees and treehouse and cut around it for our kids as well, how nice is that? They did a very nice job with clean up. There was a lot of wood and tons of branches and leaves everywhere and they did a very nice job getting that out of the yard.

Description of Work: The morning after the area wind-storm, Jim was at my home pronto with a crew to clear away a very large fallen tree. He also helped last winter when I lost a river birch to the ice storm.
