We own a Fisher Home and Woodcraft Rails origjnally made and installed all of our stairway railings. We were refinishing our basement and wanted the new railings to match the others. Woodcraft Rails came out to the house, measured, and gave me an estimate to make matching railings. When they arrived they were perfect matches and they installed perfectly. I wanted to save some money and am pretty handy at carpentry work so I asked if I could install them myself. They agreed and even spent time when they delivered the railing to show me how to set up, cut, and install them. They went in perfectly. For others I recommend having them install the railings, though. Woodcraft Rails is a wonderful company and I enjoyed doing business with them.

I wanted a pair of ballaster railings for my finished basement that matched the railings in rest of the house. The house was 10 years old, but I located the Woodcraft Rails, the supplier of the original railings in the house. I called Mr. Fischer and he promptly came out the the house, looked at my railings and said he could make me an exact matching set. He measured the needed railing on each side of the descending staircase and delivered them in a week or two. I planned on installing the railings myself. When he personally delivered the railings, Mr Fischer took the time to give me precise instructions how to measure, cut, fit, and screw in the railings. His instructions were perfect and I installed them without any problems. They look great. People who see out new basement notice the railings and since they match the upstairs ones perfectly, they assume the basement was finished when the house was originally built. I would recommend Woodcraft Rails to anyone.
