Dan was very friendly and courteous. He explained what he was doing and even offered advice about potential future problems. I was impressed that he didn't try to sell me a new unit even though ours is about two years away from failing. I will gladly use them in the future.

It was great. I was very friendly and completed the job within the hour. Didn't try to sell me on a new unit, which was nice. I had him come in and check out how much it would be to put in new ducts in to the second floor.

This company was wonderful to work with. They were prompt, knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant to work with. Chris Wingate, the owner, came and gave me an estimate and told me that they would match any other offer for the same product. True to his word, he did this and even came down $65 more. The weather did not cooperate so he waited patiently until I felt it was warm enough to proceed. He brought a heater for my handicapped adult son so he wouldn't get cold while the old furnace was turned off. Steve and Dan arrived on time and completed the work in a day. This included cleaning up the small mess that was made during the installation process. Within a day there was an issue that came up with the thermostat and after several phone calls and several trips and replacements the issue was resolved to my total satisfaction. (As is turned out, the problem was not the fault of Chris and his company, but the furnace manufacturer. Chris saw to it that a technician and a salesman from that company made a trip to my house to resolve the problem.) It is really rare to find a company and an owner who believe the customer is the most important person in "the equation." It's also rare to find an honest company that stands by their word and promises. The company motto is: "to exceed every expectation" and they certainly did. I can't recommend Chris and Wingate Mechanical enough. You can't go wrong using them for your HVAC needs.

Everything was fine with him. I don't remember the exact number of days when they came out after purchasing the big deal but it was very acceptable. They kept to the $79. I will probably use them again.

Had a wonderful experience with Steve from Wingate Mechanical. He came for the furnace tune-up I purchased on Angie's List. He was on time, did a great job and was very patient with all my heating/AC questions (thermostat questions, what should I do with this vent, some people run the fan. etc.). I feel like I understand my HVAC system a million times better than I did before he came. He probably could've done the work in half the time, but he was very happy to show me things and explain things instead. I greatly appreciated this and will call Wingate again in the future!

They arrived on time, complete the service. They came back a few days later to install the ignition start.

I had an excellent, top-notch experience with Wingate Mechanical. First, I got a very quick appointment -- in time to beat the weekend heatwave. My central A/C system is about 17 years old so really needs good maintenance. The technician Dan was extremely knowledgeable, I had full confidence in his assessments and work efforts. He was also extremely nice, neat and seemed happy to be doing his job. He caught a few things that were on the verge of harming my system and was able to fix them on the spot with the right parts at a reasonable price. He also took my request back to his office for a quote for a new HVAC system which I know I will need someday. I received that quote with details that were very helpful. While I of course will seek at least another quote or two before replacing my system entirely because it's such a major expense for my small budget, I would be very glad to choose Wingate Mechanical to do that work for me in the future. I will definitely call them back for a furnace check up before this next winter comes.

On time. 2 HVAC systems were cleaned and inspected.

The technician was right on time and very polite and knowledgeable. He showed us parts of our air conditioning unit which were not working properly, quoted a reasonable price for replacement of said parts, and changed out those parts all during the appointment. Our air conditioner runs efficiently now. Overall it was a very positive experience.

The service went very well. Chris was actually early to the appointment which is something of a shock to me compared to most other service companies. He covered his shoes the entire time he was in my home and was very professional. I was also able to schedule an appointment that was convenient for me. Overall, I will be looking to utilize Wingate again.

Chris checked over the air conditioner and found the capacitor needed replacing. He replaced it and did a thorough check of the unit. I was very pleased with his work and would hire him again. He was pleasant, friendly and efficient in his manner.

Dan arrived promptly and outlined what his work would entail. Upon completion he reviewed the status of my A/C system going over a checklist of what he did. He indicated I had a part failing, although not required, would recommend watching performance. He had the part on his truck, was reasonably priced, so had him install it. He gave me the faulty part and explained it's role and where it was starting to fail. I appreciated Dan explaining all aspects of his inspection.
