WIN HOME INSPECTION

The home inspection was great. Mark met up with a family member (we coordinated this from out of town) and did the walk through of the entire house. He was quite thorough with the details and hit not only all the standard issues, but a few that we were hoping he would look into as well as some that we were not expecting. The report was delivered quickly, professionally and was quite thorough. The only downside to the report was that we would have liked to seen pictures from the inspection. Otherwise, it was great.

Mark was professional and helpful. I accompanied him on the inspection, and while all of his observations were documented in his report, his running commentary provided additional help. He appeared knowledgeable in his assessment and was thorough - he wasn't in a rush to get through. While there were portions of the home's systems that he was unable to inspect (due to copper theft), he discounted his price due to this. He was able to recommend appropriate specialists to further investigate and remedy potential problems.

This was my first home inspection, and I was very pleased with the thoroughness of service and the congeniality of our inspector. Not only did we receive an extremely detailed report on the condition of the house, but he carefully walked through every step of the process with us, knowing that this was our first home. He was honest about his opinions of areas that passed inspection but could stand improvement, and offered excellent information about faulty areas in our house (such as our polybutylene water supply line). Given the thoroughness of the inspection, we felt confident in moving into our house!
