I was very pleased with John's work. He is extremely knowledgeable and honest in his appraisal of what work could be done. During his first visit, he did a thorough examination of my roof/property to determine where the squirrels were entering the attic. He actually walked the entire roof and examined our house thoroughly to insure that he proposed solution would solve our problem. He also examined our landscaping to determine what animals were giving us problems. He made several trips to our property for follow up on traps/attic work and was always completely honest with his appraisal of what work could or should be done. He has a wealth of success in this area and it shows in his work. I would highly recommend him.

John was very responsive to the call and was clear up front that he might not be able to do anything about the animal noises. He provided a lot of information about what he was doing as he did it as well as other information about preventing future incidents. I would definitely recommend him to others.
Description of Work: We called on a Saturday morning after hearing animal noises in the chimney. After asking a series of questions about the fireplace and chimney over the phone, John and his wife came that afternoon. Unfortunately, the flue on our fireplace has been sealed shut because the fireplace is no longer operable, which made it very hard for John to see what was going on. Using a mirror and flashlight, he was able to tell us that there was a very old animal corpse in the chimney and no active animals. He was unable to do anything more because the fireplace was sealed.

John discovered a couple of mice living in my attic (they sound like elephants!) and saw that some of the traps and poison there would already take care of some of them. He recommended we spread some more poison ourselves (simply) in the late fall and mid winter to avoid any possible stinky side effects. He noticed that two areas of my attic were without screens, and offered to provide that service when the weather cooled (understandably too hot for three hours work up there). He also offered to measure and provide a chimney cap (we are without) at a reasonable price. He also found a hornets nest and although he does not take care of them, he made an immediate call to an associate who does and offered me a quote with guaranteed work to take care of it. Excellent service from start to finish! Very kind and personable man.
Description of Work: John came to my house to check out some noises in my attic. He also checked all around my house, the chimney, the gutters and the roof. He actually crawled into the attic (I've had some who wouldn't) with a flashlight and check all the nooks and crannies. He had his ladders out, and checked all the outdoor nooks and crannies as well. A very thorough examination of any and all possible entires for any kind of animal. He was extremely knowledgeable, plain spoken and honest about any of the possibilities and very efficient with his time. The cost was with Angie's discount and worth every penny and more.

Mr. and Mrs. Ware arrived at my home promptly. Quickly, they assessed the situation and provided a remedy. They were professional, punctual, pleasant, and helpful. They made me feel confident in my decision to call them. If I ever encounter wildlife in my home, there is no other company which I would consult. Mr. and Mrs. Ware are exceptional professionals.
Description of Work: Mr. and Mrs. Ware determined that birds had previously created nests in vents around my home. They took out the nesting materials, measured wire mesh, cut it specifically for the openings, and then fastened the mesh to the openings around my home.

John and his wife were awesome. He came within a day of me calling and giving him my sad story of the squirrel invasion. John is very knowledgeable and informative. John was also very thorough, he spent a couple of hours evaluating the situation and speaking with other unit owners. John explained his plan of attack and proceeded to set his traps. Within 20 minutes of John and his wife leaving the property he had caught his first critter. All total John removed 8 squirrels from our property. We were very happy with our experience with John and his wife (what a woman )and would recommend him to anyone needing the same service.

Mr. Ware was recommended to me by someone who had used his services, and I double-checked on Angie's List. Easy to get an appointment. He and his wife were really nice people, the job was completed quickly and efficiently. He also examined the roof line of my house, looking for other potential problems.

I called John in the morning and he promptly answered the phone and was very helpful and knowledgeable about what might be living in the chimney. He also was very accommodating and scheduled a time to come out later that same day! John and his wife were very polite, courteous, and professional. He took the time to answer questions and explain things, and even offered to show my young daughter a squirrel that he had trapped earlier that day.
Description of Work: We had been hearing a strange scratching noise coming from inside of our chimney. Having heard it repeatedly, and having my wife petrified that something might get into the house, we decided to install a chimney cap. I first called a chimney company, and they quoted me $150 to install the cap, plus an additional $250 charge if they found any animals in the chimney. Fortunately I called John, who said that he could do both the animal removal and the chimney cap for much less. When he arrived, John and his wife thoroughly inspected the chimney, determined there were no raccoons, or babies, living in the chimney, and then installed the chimney cap.

I am very pleased with his results and he is VERY thorough. If there are some bigger animal removal jobs in the future, I will definitely give this company a call. Also check out his website, he has plenty of useful information.
Description of Work: John and his wife came to our home to inspect the "Scratching and squealing" from the attic. He climbed on our roof and inspected all possible ways for a critter to get inside. He was pleasantly surprised to see that the roof was sealed and "tight". He then took the inspection inside to the attic. It took him only 5 minutes after being in the attic to see that it was mice causing the commotion and not another type of critter. He advised me on that I could take care of this myself since his services do not include trapping mice and rats.

He was very professional, friendly, and cleaned up everything when he was done. He told me over the phone that it would be $70 for a visit, and up to $100 more depending on what he had to do. He recommended chimney caps, which he called me the next day with a price quote on. I am having him come back to install as soon as they are in.
Description of Work: I had an odor coming from the fireplace and thought there might be a dead animal. John returned my call promptly and came out that evening, right at 5 as promised. He checked the roof and chimney, then inside the fireplace. He had to remove the damper, but retrieved 2 dead squirrels from the fireplace.

John Ware and his wife Gail came out to my house and set a chimney trap to catch the raccoons. He set up the appointment so that I didn't have to take time off work to meet him. He called when he was stuck in traffic to let me know he was on his way but would be late. He was very professional, very courteous and very persistent in getting the raccoons. He ended up having to make three trips to my house. He also checked the other chimney flues to see if they were clear and even spent time cleaning out a lot of debris that was clogging one of them at no extra charge. A few days later he called to see if I had noticed any other signs of raccoons just to make sure we got them all. I would definitely hire him again.

John came to my home the same day I called. He was polite and thorough.
Description of Work: I heard some kind of gnawing in the attic. John went into the attic and inspected the entire area, even showing my husband where we needed to reinforce against various critters. John saw indications of mice and suggested NOT using poison to avoid decaying animal carcasses creating an odor in the summer heat. Instead, he suggested glueboards. He prepped and place two glueboards and left another set-up for my husband.

John Ware is very courteous and professional. He's good at what he does and his price is very fair. His service is prompt and even did a follow-up call on a Sunday to remove the third live bird. I will definitely recommend him to anyone with wild animal problems / infestations.
Description of Work: John Ware and his wife removed three live and one dead starling fledglings and unhatched eggs from our attic. He also hauled away two large garbage bags of nesting material (about the equivalent of a bale of hay). He also repaired the roof vents where the birds were getting in.

John was great to work with, he came out the same day I called, was always accessible by cell phone and was diligent in diagnosing the problem, checking the traps, and in using the least invasive and most humane way to resolve the problem. I was very pleased with the resolution of my raccoon problem.
Description of Work: I had a raccoon invade my house attic. John came out, confirmed that there was a raccoon and determined how it was gaining access to my attic (via a soffit vent). He set up two Have-a-heart traps near the tree it was using to get onto the roof. The raccoon did not take the bait however, but did end up having a litter of babies in the attic a few days later. John placed the scent of a male raccoon on a couple of towels and put them in the attic which convinced the female raccoon to take herself and her babies elsewhere, which avoided more drastic measures. He also stapled hardware cloth over the soffit vents the raccoon used to enter and exit the attic so that no other animals can get in.

John Ware is a pleasant, friendly, and polite man who did a very thorough job of critter removal. Other than leaving some minor debris on garage floor that fell from crawl space due to the mess from the squirrels, he cleaned out debris in the attic area from their nesting and other activities. He always phoned just ahead of his arrival so we could move one car out of his way. His prices are competitive, giving us Angies list discount of $25 off his usual $75 per critter and initial visit. He did what he said he would do each time, explaining his procedures.
Description of Work: We called John because of a nuisance noise in crawl space above garage and in ''attic.'' He promptly appeared with ladder, lighting and traps, promising not to kill but relocate squirrels (4). His wife Gail accompanied him on 3-4 return visits to hand him empty traps and carry loaded traps to their truck.
