After nearly having the unknown animal come through my plugged chimney over the weekend, I found John's service through Angie's List and emailed him that Sunday afternoon (I contacted one competitor as well, but John was the only one who responded). I returned his call on Monday morning and he was able to come out the same day to perform the service. It was unfortunately getting dark, cold and beginning to sleet by the time he arrived but he was still OK to continue without hesitation. John got on the roof with his flashlight, evaluated the situation, found a raccoon hiding in the bottom of the chimney and ousted her without too much trouble. All-in-all, it was probably about an hour job. He also measured the chimneys for me so I could look into getting caps put on and he offered to also get those estimated for me through a supplier he works with. Both John and his wife, Gayle, came out to do the job. They were both very nice, courteous and professional. John was also very knowledgeable about these critters and the game laws in my county, and seems to have been doing it for a long time. There might be someone a little cheaper out there, but I feel confident John and Gayle gave me my money's worth. In fact the cost was less than his original estimate!

Was able to come out within a few hours of my phone call. Had a snaking camera to explore under deck. Whole job was done in about 30 minutes. I didn't give a grade for price because I didn't get any other estimates. Seems fair to me.

One Sunday I found an amount of animal droppings on the outside on my home next to a chimney. I did not know who to call and referred to Angie s List. Wildlife Removal Services, (513-899-9695) was well recommended. I called, and even though it was Sunday, John Ware [the owner] examined the droppings and informed me I had bats. He stated they could not be removed until after August 15th, as they were protected by state law. I contracted John s company to remove them as soon as allowed. John and his employees did an outstanding job. They sealed all the possible entry points to my house except for one. That one was fitted with a door which would allow the bats to leave but not return. They were courteous and paid attention to even the smallest of details. If needed, for other wildlife invaders, I will use their services again. They have earned the high ranking of their customers.

John and his wife arrived on the evening of the day that we discussed the problem. He set a trap on the spot and checked periodically until it was determined that the squirrel infestation had been resolved. The work was quick and efficient.

Called in AM. John came out at 7PM with 3 cages. Next day 2 were filled other was set off. Came 6PM to remove 2 raccoons and reset other trap. Came next day to pick up that last cage (it was filled). He gives you his cell phone to call when you have an animal and comes fast. Great service!! Cost: 1 time set up charge + cost for each animal captured.

We had heard a scratching sound within one of our walls (yikes). So, John and his wife came out and did a thorough examination of our house. He didn't find anything but did explain that mice are very common inside peoples wall and attics.

John Ware's work exceeded my expectations! On a Sunday morning, we heard a flapping noise coming from our chimney. We were concerned that it either was a bird or a bat. Luckily it was a bird. I called 3 companies and John was the only company that was able to come that day. I was concerned that the bird might die if we left him in the chimney. My two small daughters were extremely scared and they would not walk into the rooms with the chimneys. John and his wife arrived and assessed the situation. John climbed onto our 2-story roof, determined the animal was a bird, and measured the opening to put caps on the 2 chimneys. John and his wife captured the bird inside my house. They were very nice to my girls and made them feel at ease. John captured the cute black bird and called my girls over to see him. John petted the bird's head and showed my girls that everything was safe again. We then all went outside and John lifted the bird into the air and the bird was free again. My daughters were so happy. It was a very happy moment to know that the bird was alive and happy. It really was such a positive experience for my girls to know that we saved a bird's life. John then capped the 2 chimney openings so no further wildlife could enter. He and his wife selected a black chimney cap to match the colors on our house. The chimney caps look like they were always there which is exactly how we wanted it to look. We are really appreciate John and his wife's work! They were very professional, helpful, saved the bird, and prevented future incidents by installing the chimney caps.
Description of Work: John Ware came to my home, climbed onto our 2-story roof with his ladders, determined the animal in the chimney was a bird, came inside our home, captured the bird, let the bird go free in the yard, and then capped the 2 chimneys to avoid further wildlife from entering. He did an excellent job explaining what would be done and selecting chimney caps to match the colors of our home.

John is very professional, thorough and detailed. He and his wife Gail were both friendly and I felt comfortable with them in my house. I definitely would recommend and use again. Price was a B just because I think that if we had shopped around we could have found someone a little bit cheaper, but I felt confident that John would do the job right so we went with him on the spot.
Description of Work: Removed 2 raccoons from inside of our chimney. They were very prompt, very thorough, and very knowledgeable. Raccoons had nested all the way down our chimney in the basement level clean-out. John assessed the 3 flues coming out of our chimney, bought two caps for us, and then drove the raccoons out. Once done he then capped both uncovered flues. Cost included the service call, purchase of the two chimney caps and a charge per animal to remove.

We had heard noises in the attic so we called John on a Sunday afternoon. He came out in 24 hours. Went on the roof, and found that Raccoon hair and paw prints on the down spout from the gutter. He showed me where they got into the attic through the vents that were now broken. He left traps for 4 days and a temporary cover on the vent, to see if they were coming back. They did not come back so John put the wire mesh cover on the vent so they could not get back in. John was to my house 3 times and explained everything. Great Job.

I called and spoke to John Ware about suspected squirrel activity in my attic. I had seen a squirrel taking leaves into my gutter and heard noises which seemed to come from the attic area. John asked questions about why I thought I had squirrels in the attic and suspected that a squirrel was preparing to have babies. He explained his services and pricing on the phone and said he'd be out the next day. He and his wife, Gail did come out the next day. Initially, John walked around the entire house looking for possible openings then climbed on the roof. He found an opening in a gutter screen and saw a squirrel in the gutter. He went to the part of the roof where he'd seen the squirrel's first movements and discovered leaves and twigs in the gutter along with five newborn baby squirrels. John and Gail removed the babies per my request. He then gave me options on what to do next as far as setting up a trap for the mother then or waiting to see if there was any additional activity and returning within two weeks to set a trap if necessary. I was impressed by John's knowledge, his responsiveness, his professionalism, and his fairness in pricing. I have used a competitor company in the past and found them to be very expensive in comparison. I would definitely call on Wildlife Removal Services again.

We were hearing scratching and squeaking noises from the ceiling/corner of one of our rooms, it sounded to us like bats. John Ware came out within a reasonable time after my call, and did a very thorough inspection of our attic. He was up there for at least 30 minutes. Afterward, he educated us on what he had done and found (signs of mice, but not bats) and gave us recommendations on how to proceed. He was thorough and professional.

Each day for five plus days we were in phone contact. When there was a squirrel or squirrels trapped they arrived in the evening to take them to a farm far away and release them. On the last day John wired the hole closed. John Ware gave us excellent information on squirrels and old homes and woods. He was very conscious of respecting our property in and out and was efficient and professional. We HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!!
Description of Work: John and his lovely wife came exactly when they said they would. They surveyed the situation and gave us a professional evaluation of what we had in terms of "the squirrel party" going on. They placed traps at the ingress area and advised us of what would happen. He was totally RIGHT!!!

Mr. Ware and his assistants could not have been more up-front, informative, and pleasant, and I would seek their services in less than a heartbeat if needed again.
Description of Work: Having recently had my house siding repaired because of a squirrel that had taken refuge in a hole in the siding, I assumed I had a squirrel in the attic when I heard something scratching around up there. I called Wildlife Removal Services Inc., and Mr. Ware came to my house the same evening as promised. He quickly evaluated the situation and gave me a list of options and the cost of each option. As he was setting up squirrel traps on the gutter line, he looked over the side of the house to see a raccoon spring out of the air vent. So, Mr. Ware removed the squirrel traps and placed raccoon traps at the base of the house where he thought they were climbing up to the roof. Before he left, he ordered me to call him every day. When a raccoon was trapped, Mr. Ware came to retrieve it within 24 hours. Meanwhile, strong wire screens were placed over each of three air vents to keep critters from re-entering the attic.

John and his wife were able to come the next day after we called them, very prompt service. John entered the attic and identified a squirrel problem. He set two traps and followed up on a regular basis to see if the traps were getting any activity. The traps did not work in this instance so he came back out to the property and set up a one way trap that allowed the squirrels to exit the attic, leaving them unable to re-enter. After enough time had passed to be sure that the squirrels were out of the attic, John sealed up their entry point with some sheet metal. He usually charges $50 per each squirrel that he catches, but he did not charge anything extra since none were caught in this instance. All in all it was a good experience and the squirrel problem seems to be taken care of, as we have not heard them at all lately. This is a good family operation and I will definitely use them again in the future. Fair prices, too, they will not gouge you.

I was incredibly pleased that the problem was resolved!!! It was a pleasure to work with John and I felt totally well taken care of with a trusted professional.
Description of Work: John Ware was knowledgeable, attentive, and responded immediately to the issue I had with squirrels in my attic. He surveys the surrounding area to note squirrel behavior and travel patterns to assess the situation. He always followed up when he said he would as well as educate me on what was happening. On his first trip he already knew where the entry point was and pointed it out to me. He caught 5 squirrels, then when he was convinced that there were no longer any in my attic, repaired and closed the entry point.

I looked on the list and John seemed to be the highest rated so I thought I would give him a call and see if he could come out some time soon. Little did I know that he would come out to my house later that evening and set some traps for what I think was a opossum. Two days go by and I notice that the trap was sprung and I called John and he came out that day to discover a LARGE opossum. He took care of it left some screening to see if there were any more little creatures that were living there and then told me that after three days I should make sure that I fill in the gap with something to prevent this from happening again. He did a great job and was not only fast but, he knew right away how to handle it and to be honest I did not think that all was going to go as well as it did! John is a professional and I will always have him for any future pests that may be trying to live where they shouldn't be living! Thank god for John.

I found Wildlife Removal Services on Angie's List. I selected them based on the positive reviews, and the fact that they use Hav-a-Heart traps when trapping animals. When I called to set up an appointment, they asked questions about my animal problem and were careful to outline their charges in advance. John Ware called when he was en route to my home, and arrived at the scheduled time. He was polite and friendly, and very careful of my home while maneuvering his ladder to the second floor. Unfortunately, obstructions in my attic prevented him from making a full inspection, but he did give me advice on other approaches. He was very apologetic about not being able to complete the work, and he reduced the usual service fee by almost half.

I'd hired this company last year and they did a good job, so I didn't really consider calling anyone else this past summer. Unfortunately, they didn't catch very many moles - through no fault of their own - b/c August turned out to be bone dry & the drought drove the moles further below the surface. Nevertheless, they did the best they could under the circumstances and I'd definitely hire them again.

My husband and I were very pleased with John's knowledge and responsiveness to our needs. We would definitely use him again in the event we have any animal control issues. We would recommend him highly to friends and neighbors. We felt the amount he charged for the service he provided was fair.
Description of Work: John Ware was very knowledgeable and professional. He came to our home to inspect the burrowing issues in our back yard. We had burrowing holes under two of our our back patio concrete slabs. He and his wife brought two traps back out to our home and set them up in ten minutes. Within three days, our problem critter (a skunk) was trapped and John came to pick up the animal the same day. He left the second trap to be sure there were no additional animals. He retrieved the second trap after three days of inactivity in the holes.

This is the second time in 15 years we have had this problem but the first time we used John. Not only did he respond quicker, stayed in touch and accomplished what needed doing, his charges were much friendlier than the other guy. John and his wife were very friendly and pleasant to work with. Their care for our house was more evident than with other contractors.
