John and the assistant were VERY thorough-- they checked every inch of the house. I really liked that they wanted me to go with them so they could show me and explain everything they found. They also explained how to address each issue (steel wool to fill in holes near pipes, etc) very clearly. John and his assistant were very friendly and knowledgeable, and I highly recommend them. I would definitely call them again if I had another issue with mice or other animals.

We called Wildlife Removal Services over Labor Day weekend to get started on squirrel removal. I called on Saturday and they had live traps installed on Sunday. Over the next two weeks they trapped 9 squirrels trying to get into our house through a small hole under the roof. They were prompt and professional and answered the phone even while hangin from ladders at other jobs. After the squirrel activity stopped, they came back, removed the traps, and installed a heavy duty wire mesh screen over the opening until I had my roof refinished. John Ware, the owner, even gave recommended instructions as to how to keep the squirrels out in the future. Overall, he and his workers were professional, prompt, and got the job done.
Description of Work: I hired Wildlife Removal Services to live trap and remove suirrels prior to getting a new roof. After removal of the squirrels' they installed a temporary mesh screen to keep any more squirrels from coming back into the house.

The service from start to finish was great. John and his staff were professional and courteous. Would definitely use them again if ever needed. I appreciated that he was licensed by the Ohio Division of Wildlife and was a key in my picking him for the work.
Description of Work: I heard scratching noises coming from what I thought was the chimney. Left message for the company and received a return call the same day. Spoke with John, the owner, on the phone. He informed me what the possible problem/outcomes were. Appointment was scheduled for later in the week. John and his staff were prompt for the appointment. He assessed the situation and make his recommendations. There was no pressure in regards to which recommendations I decided on. But since there was no animal, to the best of his assessment, I made the decision to have John and his staff put a cap on the chimney. The chimney was measured, a cap was purchased and installed. John instructed me if after the cap was installed I hear an animal, even though he thought the animal was out for the day, I should call him immediately even if it was 2 AM in the morning. He would be here to get the animal out.

John spent a long time thoroughly inspecting the house and paid particular attention to the soffits (spelling) that I thought had damage from animals. He was completely honest and said what we had were mice -he showed me the evidence -and he told us how to get rid of them ourselves. He didn't set needless traps and was very honest.

Service was great; Gave me confidence that the bat was not in the house; I was able to learn what to look for in the future in case the bat was in the house or came back; they were on time and extremely professional; he took the time to explain things, which was a big help; he also provided pointers on how to treat for moles in my yard even though he didn't have to. This is a very professional outfit and would recommend them.

We discovered a family of racoons living at the bottom of main chimney flue. Mr. Ware came to inspect both chimneys. He recommended placing caps on chimneys to prevent animals from getting back in. The chimney caps needed to be ordered, so plan was to extract the animals once the caps were available. While waiting for the chimney caps, I made significant noise and was able to scare the racoons away. Thus, it was not necessary to actually extract/trap the animals. Since there were no animals to remove, the actual cost was significantly less than quoted. I tipped/paid him extra to make up for the fact that the animals were already gone because he was so helpful.

We had animals in our back yard that would hide under our wood deck. With three dogs, they would go nuts smelling and looking for the animals. The woodchuck appeared a bit threatening and did not spook easily by humans. We didn't even know that we had racoon's in the yard. John and his wife responded quickly, set up the traps, calmed us down and reassured us that he would remove whatever type of animal was in the yard. His team is excellent, and his assistant tat removed the traps could not have been more careful and reassuring. We would definitely call Wildlife Removal Services in the future if an occasion presented itself.
Description of Work: Had woodchuck and two racoons removed from our backyard. John was responsive, knowledgeable, and professional in all interactions. He has a very professional and capable staff that works with him, and his service exceeded our expectations.

John and his wife came to our house on a Sunday to evaulate the situation and set several traps to catch the animal that had burrowed under our concrete front porch. The animal was very evasive and even escaped from one of the traps John and his crew set. John and crew were very creative, persistent, and professional in their approach to trapping the animal. After about two weeks of attempts, John was sucessful in trapping a female skunk. There was also a litter of skunks under the porch so John and crew set another trap for them. After about a week, the little skunks finally ventured into the trap. I was amazed when John told me six skunks were in the one trap! John and his crew were very communicative and professional in their approach. They were committed to trapping and eliminating the animals and even worked on Saturday and Sunday - not sure if many companies will do that. John also gave me advice on how to keep animals from burrowing under the porch. John is at the top of my list and I will definitely use him again...

We heard noises in the attic at 3AM. John was out the next day and found a squirrel on the roof and even saw it entering our attic through a vent in the roof. He and his wife set up traps. After about a week and a half they had captured two male squirrels. He called me several times for updates and after catching the second one, and determining they were both males, and given we heard nothing more, his work was done. Very professional. Very efficient. He took care of our problem quickly and without damage to the attic by the animals.

Called John and he was right out that day. He determined that we had a raccoon that had chewed through an eave and was in an inaccessible area of our attic. John found that the raccoon was scaling up the side of our screened in porch to get to a flat portion of our 1st story roof and then climbing the roof to the other side of the house to get to the eave. He set traps on the 1st story roof and on the ground. After a several weeks of nothing in the traps, he came back. The reason for the delay was because of the bad weather of January-February, which he didn't want to climb on the roof and I agree with that judgment. When he came back, he took the ground trap away and set 2 new traps on the 1st story roof. We waited for 3 more weeks with nothing in the traps. John came down and looked over the situation, he and I discussed that I had not heard any noise from the area the raccoon had gotten into and agreed that the raccoon was probably gone for good. He recommended what to do to patch the hole made by the raccoon. John and his lovely wife Gail are excellent and I would recommend them, without hesitation, to anybody that has a wildlife problem.

We discovered birds in our attic one morning (heard the fluttering when we were in our second floor bathroom) and called John Ware at WRS. He came out later that same day. He crawled up on the roof to identify where the birds were gaining access. After that he went into the attic, scared the birds out and removed the nest. He went back onto the roof and closed up the entry points. He also gave us a referral to a contractor for some roofing work we may need.

This is the second or third time we have used John's services for the removal of these varmits. John is an awesome guy. He tells you straight, he does what he says he going to do and when he says he will. One problem we had was a very large tree -- the natural ladder the squirrels were using, as Mr. Ware explained. The tree blocked access to the vent that Mr. Ware needed to build a trap. He referred me to a contractor he had used to address the tree problem; in fact, he called that person from my living room. We got the tree removed; Mr. Ware gained access to the roof and completed the work as promised. We didn't catch any squirrels, but we don't have any more noises in the attic. Our theory: Ware explained that squirrels are very social animals. They like to cavort during the day and come in for shelter at night, which is consistent with the fact that our daughter kept hearing the noises at bedtime. We removed the tree when and set the trap on days that were beautiful -- likely when the squirrels were cavorting out of doors. When nightfall came, they couldn't get into the attic. Mr. Ware's explanation of the animal behavior even before he began working was of great assistance in and of itself. Overall, we were very pleased from noisy start to quiet finish.
Description of Work: My daughter reported noises in the attic. We contacted Mr. Ware, who determined that we had squirrels and showed me where they were getting in. He built a trap to catch the animals and later removed the trap and installed a screen that would prevent future intruders.
