Widmer's Cleaners - Carpet Cleaners

Worked **** ** getting stubborn spots out.

They did a nice job and took care of my bad spot. 4 rooms and 3 pieces of furniture. Worked efficiently, and handled the job professionally.

The cleaning was thorough and good. The serviceman was punctual. I would work with them again. My only negative point is that, since this was the first time I had carpets cleaned professionally, I wish they'd explained better in advance what to expect, like the door being ajar and the area rugs needing to be removed from the house. It's obvious to me now but I didn't know in advance. Also, the person who got my request through Angie's List, the owner, I think, gave my name and number to office staff to contact me, but did not relay any of the information about the job and misstated the address, which added some confusion. However, the quality of the work was good, it was on time, and I'd hire them again.

The carpet was badly stained in 2 areas. Widmer associate did a great job. Beyond my expectations.

The carpet was quite stained in a couple areas which they cleaned better than I thought they could.

The technician that did the work did a great job and was on time and professional. It was difficult and time consuming to get the work scheduled through the customer service representative.

I put a pair of $200 pants in the dry cleaner's back in October and promptly forgot about them. I called them yesterday and asked if they still had them. They said the pants weren't in the shop (on Montgomery Road near Madeira) anymore. They were probably at the warehouse waiting to be sold. The staff checked and found the pants and had them transferred back to the shop. The very next day, the pants were back in. The staff contacted me immediately, and I went and picked them up the same day they had been shipped back to the shop. Fantastic! Just great service from the best dry cleaners in town! I am delighted.

They had to take the rug back a second time, because they didn't do one step that I had asked them to do but they didn't charge me for it. They were very professional, they came and dropped the rug. I was surprised when they said that the rug had dog hair in it, and that was the reason I was sending it to them because I couldn't get the dog hair out with my vacuum cleaner. They hadn't done that, they said that it smelled like pee and it had dog hair, and I called them, so they came right away to take it back and brought it back right away. I thought they were pricey. They are probably the only ones in this area that would do such a great job in the end. I would have them clean the rug in the future.

This is the second time we have scheduled. The first time about 6 weeks ago, they never called to confirm, which actually worked out for us. So the second time was no better. Scheduled weeks ago, had to call the day of to confirm, they said we were not scheduled but offered to fit us in around noon. Noon passed, called them again now the time shifted to between 2-4. Called again at 4:30 to cancel, lady at widmer's, 'OK'. No offer to reschedule or apology for not calling us regarding delays. we have used widmer's several times and were always pleased, what's change?

They did a wonderful job. They were referred to me by my mother in law and I am going to be using them again. I would highly recommend them.

The tech did a great job and the rugs were greatly improved. There were a few stains that they didn't get out that my husband removed the next day. We were very happy with how they look.

This was the second time when I moved, to have the carpets clean prior to actual move in so furniture didn't need to be moved and make it streamline for the cleaners. They once again, did an outstanding job, explained everything they were going to do and did it. The next day, I was ready to move in and the carpets looked great.

The service man arrived on time and got right to work. He took his time especially on areas that were stained. In one area that a previous company was unable to get clean, he did a great job! Our carpets had not looked this good for a long time. Will definitely use Widmer's again!

They did a very good job. But, something happened to the carpet afterwards and it smelled for weeks. It took me a huge effort to get rid of that smell. I don't know if they used dirty water to clean the carpet or if they soaked it for too long or what they did. The carpet was left clean. But the smell was awful. That smell was in a couple of rooms that they cleaned. So, I don't ever want to use them again.

This was my first purchase through Angie's list and selected Widmer based upon reviews and price. I was really impressed with how the whole process worked. Someone from Widmer called within a few hours to schedule the appointment. The service person (Chad) showed up when he said he was going to and was very courteous, professional, and explained everything he was going to do. I liked how he placed "corner protectors" on each corner so that the hose would not scratch the wood work or walls. He even cleaned my two foyer rugs for free! The cleaning of our steps were very noticeable and Chad did a great job on all the carpets. You can definitely tell a difference in how clean they are and the before musty and pet odors are now gone. I would definitely use Widmer again. They showed up on time and worked efficiently. This was a great experience.

The gentleman called before arrival and arrived on time. He was very efficient and offered to clean 2 long throw rugs as we had less than the specified number of rooms to clean. He was also very friendly. We would definitely use Widmers again.

First carpet cleaners we have ever had that actually removed a good percent of the urine from the pad and carpeting that our little dogs have left behind. Smell disappeared in living room which was an incredible accomplishment by this carpeting. The young man who did the job should be commended for his attention to detail and his professionalism.

Went very well and quickly overall, but would not choose the pet treatment again. The odor from the pets was no less than the last time I had them clean the carpets. After airing the house out for a bit, the odor dissipated. Overall, I was very pleased with the service, especially with the coupon. I'm just not sure I was a good candidate to get much value from the additional pet treatment.

very prompt, polite, reasonable I had a serious pet stain which prompted the call. It's completely gone!

Corey (sp?) was superior. He did a splendid job of cleaning two bedrooms, ensuites, hallways, living and dining rooms. He was thorough, professional, kind and extremely energetic. Widmer's cleaners was recommended to me by several friends; now I know they were right. My only issue is I can't remember from which location Corey came. Nevertheless, I would request him again in a New York minute. Thank you Angie's List and Widmer's for doing such a great job at such a reasonable price. It does pay to be an Angie's List member!!
