Widmer's Cleaners - Carpet Cleaners

Widmer s Carpet and Restoration does an OUTSTANDING job. For their price they just do a super job. We just call them and give them the address. I usually have them go into empty houses, so I never see the folks. I show up later and the place is clean. Then later they send me a bill. They are real easy to work with. We ve had units that we thought we were going to have to replace the carpet in, but Widmer s Carpet and Restoration were able to clean the carpets. We ve only had one time we ve actually had to replace the carpet after they ve cleaned it. They ve brought back carpet we thought was ruined. After they bring it back it looks quite presentable. They do high quality work for the price.

They are one of two companies that the manufacturer of our carpet recommended that we use. They do excellent work and we are always pleased. I would highly recommend them.

Widmers made great effort to come on a convenient day without much notice. The technician was nice and efficient, but I was disappointed some spots I expected to come out did not.

I had a $99 coupon that I used. I used this company because they do a dry clean on the carpets. They came at the time they said they would. They were pleasant and polite.

Shirts are reliably picked up and returned to my home on pre-established days. Cleaning is thorough and a uniform amount of starch is used. A good overall shirt service.

We have used Widmer's before and have been satisfied with their work. They arrived at the appointed time and got right to cleaning (after spraying some heavily soiled areas). My spouse and I moved things like floor lamps, coffee tables, chairs, end tables, etc., so that the job would go quicker. They move the heavier items. We have cats and there is a lot of cat hair that gets picked up when they clean. We have them come out every six months.

Overall, I felt like the quality was just fair. The carpets did not seem to be materially cleaner when finished. The technician moved fairly fast and I felt like he didn't spend enough time to really thoroughly clean. He WAS very professional - leaving the furniture on plastic squares and handling the whole process well. My biggest complaint was that after the technician left I noticed that there were a bunch of reddish water spots on my white draperies. The technician's steam cleaner had blasted out some air/water drops that landed on my wall and drapes. I find it hard to believe that he didn't see them because they were so large. I just wish I had seen them sooner and had called Widmer's. In their defense I did not do that and I'm sure they may have remedied the situation.

I love the convenience of this service, particularly because our driver, Darren Mitchell, is so great! They are willing to accommodate special requests and short time-frames.

I had a professional job at and my clothes were expensive. A mohair jacket shrunk. Another outfit was destroyed. They told me that it was because of the water damage. I had 2 pair of penny loafers. They were missing when the things were returned. I had a pair of 3" snakeskin heels missing also. I had a pair of sandles and a pair of dress shoes but only 1 returned of each. They said my insurance company would have to be responsible for it.

We had a very nice Oriental rug cleaned and in the carpet multiple permanent indentations were left behind where you can tell the machine used to clean it were left. Also the edges are no longer the original shape (straight) it is now crooked. After attempting to confront them about this service they said they would try the same process again. I let them try once again and still the same issues. They said they would try a third time however I didn't feel comfortable with them to do it right again.

Called and received estimate over the phone and scheduled carpet cleaning two days prior to move-in. The carpet was cleaned on schedule and everything was dry well before the move. Good job on removing stains including soot on the carpet near the fireplace. Will be using this service provider on a regular basis.

The first time they came out they did not do the best job. They came back out and they did a much better job. They were polite. I found that their price was competitive.

They did a great job. They will move furniture if necessary. They are friendly and polite. I am happy with their services and I would highly recommend them.

Widmer's is great, but you pay for what you get. The quality is very good: shirts always look perfect, slacks are always pressed correctly, stains are removed the first time. We use the free delivery and the service is always on time. Clothes are picked up and returned promptly. My one small complaint is that although I have no-iron shirts which do not require (and should not be exposed to) starch and I always specify no starch, one occasionally comes back starched. Not a big deal, just a bit strange for an other wise precise operation. We have tried all three dry cleaners in our area. Although two companies are less expensive, both have some quality issues (minor for one, more significant for the other) and one also has some customer service issues. After suffering through numerous headaches with these two, we bit the bullet and started paying more for Widmer's. We have been very satisfied, but I would say our monthly dry cleaning bills are 20% higher.

The young carpet cleaner arrived on time, was very polite, professional, and conversational. He was quite passionate about and knowledgeable in his craft. He was obviously working hard to become even better in his trade while he pursued a family and higher level of education. He asked questions about the work needed, agreed to do more upon my request, provided an updated handwritten estimate before beginning, and told me I could focus on my own activities and leave the 'heavy furniture lifting and moving" to him. The extra work was taking a bit longer than he had anticipated, but he was out the door shortly before 1:00 pm, as requested, so that I could run off to a meeting. In all, he was on location about 5 hours. The work was well done. The carpets looked great. He caused no damage to any walls or furniture in the process (something I'd experienced in the past). It was a good experience and one that I'll repeat more often, following this good service.

The young man arrived on time, explained the process again (consistent with the description from the sales person at the home and garden show, and the person who described the process when I called to schedule the work). He got the work done and showed me what he'd done and made a few suggestions to help me keep my ducts clean longer.

They did a very nice job. He was very professional and I would recommend them.

Widmer's delivers, which is the main attraction. Our delivery person is very accommodating. They do a better than average job with the actual dry cleaning. Every blue moon there will be discount coupons, which help, since they are expensive.

Scheduled the cleaning on short notice. They had a cancellation and got us in before our party. They arrived on-time and advised against cleaning the basement carpets till warm weather. The upstairs carpets had fairly normal traffic but hadn't been cleaned for about a year. The downstairs carpets had seen substantial traffic due to remodeling of the kitchen throughout the year. They had to work hard at getting the stains out of the dining room carpet, and kept coming back to it, even after it looked good to us. They did a very nice professional job. A pleasant experience worth repeating!

This company is professional and courteous. They were quick to respond and worked around my schedule. The work done was very good.

IT WENT VERY WELL. I WAS ABLE TO DROP OFF AND PICK UP THE PAD AT THE HARPER'S POINT LOCATION. THE JOB WAS COMPLETED WITHIN THE TIME FRAME THEY GAVE ME AND THE COST WAS REASONABLE.

THE JOB WAS DONE TO OUR SATISFACTION. THE RUGS LOOK BEAUTIFUL; THEY WERE ABLE TO REMOVE OLD STAINS IN ONE OF THE CARPETS.
