Widmer's Cleaners - Carpet Cleaners

I have been getting my tailoring done at this location for several years. The tailor is very reliable and friendly. Widmer is somewhat pricey compared to other places that I've used in the past (2 different places), but they are more reliable and do quality work, so for me it is worth it. I even had my wedding dress re-altered at Widmer after the bridal shop did a horrible job and refused to fix it. Josh at Widmer fixed it up right for me.

Had a pipe burst in pasement ceiling - and they responded immediately - did a great job communicated during the drying process as it took over a week - paid attention to wall as well - in the drying process then cleaned the carpet after it was done - Mike was the technician and he was great!!!

They were very good. I plan on having them come back. Somebody recommended this company to me. They did a very good job. I was happy with them. I would recommend them. They were prompt. They did pick up and delivery. They came on time. The quality was excellent. Two guys showed up on the money. They do early morning pick-ups, which was very nice.

I have used them in the past. I like the way they come in. They are always pleasant and they move stuffs around and do not complain. They do a good job. I would be using them in the future.

I called the company after seeing an add for carpet cleaning for $99 for 5 areas. The woman on the phone was courteous and set me up with an appointment that met my needs. The service person was very friendly and prompt. I told him of some spots that I was having difficulty with, and he worked to get those areas clean. He moved furniture back in place with styrofoam casters to furniture wouldn't discolor the carpet with wood stain or rust (from screws or other metal parts).

Widmer's arrived stated time and used large dehumidifers on both levels as well as air handlers and a suction mats on the hardwood. The lower level insulation was removed to allow drying. The master carpet and padding was removed to dry subfloor. The remediation started within the first 18 hours of discovery and lasted 7 whole days. The technician, Jay, monitored moisture levels daily and adjusted equipment as warranted. The remedy was successful, with saving the tile and hardwood flooring. The master carpet is being replaced as no longer available. This was due to homeowner essentially destroying the carpet during removal. The insulation batting is being replaced. the carpet replacement and insulation install will be completed by another provider.

I am so impressed by the integrity demonstrated here. They do not charge for service calls if no work is performed. I have no doubt that many carpet cleaners would have gone ahead with the work and charged a fortune for extra stain removal, deodorizing etc. No one was present to check the final results because my 85 year-old mother had major surgery the day before and our attention was focused on her. Mike delivered an honest assessment based on his experience and we were deeply appreciative that we didn't throw away money on services that would not give us the result we sought.

When we moved, we used them to clean our carpets. They got 20 year old carpet to look like new again. They got stains out that we never thought would come up. They are prompt, efficient, and their price is right.

They did an excellent job. The company gave a 2 hour window which is outstanding because so many of the companies give 4 hours and that is really hard to accomadate. They called my mom and she drove over and met them. The two gentlemen we super friendly and did a very complete job. We were very impressed.

The minimum price is $99, so even if it's a spot clean, they'll charge you that, so it's best to have them do as much as they can while they're here. They're one of two cleaning services recommended by Dupont. They're very friendly and very professional. They always leave my carpet better than what it was when they got here.

They took several weeks longer than originally stated, then didn't call when they were done. One curtain was hemmed 10 inches shorter than requested. They only reimbursed very little of the original cost of the curtains, then did not return the one that was done correctly. They were sent "downtown" before I was given a choice of what to do with them. It is now 3 months later, I am in the hole financially and need to be new curtains.

Representatives called on time and were able to arrive early. The technician was very professional, communicated effectively and performed the work quickly. All of the stains came out, with the exception of 1 red stain on the beige carpet, that appeared to be a fruit punch spill. I'm very pleased with the overall results.

They did fine. They called me right back about the service. They came out on time for the service. They cleaned up the areas that I needed well. I give them all A?s for their service.

Good. They were on time and completed the work promptly. They were able to get out old stains as well. The price was very competitive.

They always do a nice job. They move the furniture. They are pretty punctual. I don't have any complaints.

It was a disaster from begining to end. When I brought the valances in, I was not told how much they would cost. The counter person did not know. I brought them in on a Thursday, and she said they would be ready the following Monday. When I arrived the following Monday, not only were they not ready, but my receipt had no number on it to match up with the order, and thre was no record with my name or phone number. The manager took all the information and did call me later at home saying they had found my order. It had been cleaned, but since the one person who priced drapes had been on vacation, they had not been priced. They would be ready the following day, Tuesday. When I arrived to pick them up on Tuesday, they were indeed ready at the astounding price of $142.47, AFTER the $10 coupon off. I feel certain I could purchase NEW VALANCES for this price. These were NOT lined drapes, they weren't even drapes, and they were 100% cotton. I am appalled. In addition to this "recomendation" on Angie's List, I am telling everyone who will listen never to use Widmer's.

Overall it was a good experience. Their turnaround was about three days, which seemed pretty good to me. The thing that is nice is that they will come pick-up the clothes and drop them off as well. They weren't able to get a stain out of one of my ties.

Fantastic. We had the carpets cleaned in four rooms. They arrived during their designated time and were very professional and courteous. They gave us some tips to help keep our carpets clean. They were able to get out spots that I didn't think would be possible. I would get them again!

The workers at Widmer's were okay overall. They were on time. They had good availability. They were professional. I have no complaints.

We had two areas done. Everything went fine today; there were no problems. They came when they said they would be here. The carpets look fine.

Their staff was very professional and prompt, especially with the flooding which was nice. Because they did such a good job with the flooding, we've used them since for regular cleaning.

excellent. I have used them for minor to major alterations, including relining suit jacket and taking up sleeves, including those with darts and buttons on the end. great job every time
