They were great. Arrived on time, were very professional, and the carpet looked much better after they finished.

It was great. They were efficient and did a good job. I would use them again.

The job went without difficulty and generally well, but the result was not perfect. A little more time and care in selecting the stain would have yielded a better match. Also, the finished varnish had some minor irregularities. Overall though, it was a satisfactory job, and the "dustless sanding" claim was almost totally true.

They were able to schedule the work for a few days when we would be out of town. While we were gone, everything went well and stayed on schedule. The floors look great. John was easy to work with.

It went very well. I would give them a A+. They had an extra special, to where I could get one done for the Angie's Price, and get a second one done for 50% off. I took advantage of the offer. They were excellent.

After originally scheduling to have the entire 2nd floor of our 106-year-old Folk Victorian sanded and refinished, we found that we needed to install hardwood over everything instead. Weickert's worked with us, even through our last-minute change, found the materials, and kept to our original work-window. Their professional and courteous installers completed the work in a timely manner. While there was a slight problem with the install, it was corrected promptly and easily. Great customer service and quality work.

The floors look beautiful one year later and the project was completed on time. The "dustless" sanding was fantastic as there was much less dust than our previous experiences using traditional sanding. I would use them again.

Project started on time and ended on time. We needed a follow up visit and that was handled within 24hrs of us contacting them and that included a site visit from management as well as service from the Team.

I saw the great reviews this company gets so I called them to schedule an appointment to get an estimate to have our hardwood floors refinished. I spoke to a woman who took my name, phone number and home address and told me that John will call me back to make an appointment. I never received a call. I figured it had to be a fluke since their reviews are so positive... so I called a week later, spoke to the same woman who took ALL my info again and said John would call me. John never called. Not sure what the problem is but I am frustrated and done.

I purchased a deal on Angie's List. They were initially not excited about the prospect of getting my rug cleaned before Christmas, and then unexpectedly got it finished much sooner than I was told. I drove out to pick it up, and found the shop (well before closing) occupied only by a 70 year old woman who did not know which rug was mine and couldn't help lift it anyway. There was also confusion about the bill, because they had not recorded my Angie's List price. However, they were terribly apologetic about being understaffed and delivered the rug and pad to my front porch for no charge the following day, and honored the Angie's List deal. Also, the rug looks (and smells!) absolutely wonderful. I would definitely use them again, just the front office is a little disorganized, so be aware.

This was a slightly out-of-the-ordinary project since the flooring we provided to Weickert's was milled from about 15 trees that had been in our yard, dying ash trees infested with the emerald ash borer. We selected Weickert''s for the installation because the estimator, John Buerger, was excited about the project and encouraged us to pursue using our own trees for the flooring whether we went with his company or not. This encouraged us as we were hearing discouraging words from several other sources up to that point, not all from flooring companies. The floor demolition, installation and finishing process happened when we were told it would, with no delays or hitches. When we had questions or wanted to confirm dates and times, we always heard back within hours, if not minutes. All the people we encountered in the process were professional, friendly, helpful, respectful of our home, efficient, and very capable. We are extremely happy with the results, perhaps a little biased because the new floor is from our own trees, but we probably wouldn't have the beautiful floors that we do, had we not been encouraged by Weickert's to use them! Thank you!

It was a pleasure to deal with Weickert's. They were responsive from the beginning bid to the completion of the project. The floors are 100 years old and were down to the last sanding. Old floors have issues, but these turned out great. The floors were sanded, cracks were filled and 3 coats of polyurethane were applied. The price seemed fair for the work involved. I'd use Weickert's again.

We did a number of quotes, and Weickerts was near the top in total cost, but they were very responsive, easy to deal with and did very strong work. They sent a guy over early to complete the demo on the weekend so they could be ready to put the floors down early. This job included doing custom stairs that needed to be stained to match, and the stairs turned out perfect. Everyone was very punctual and did very nice work. We did change our mind on some trim options, and they worked with us to get this replaced, including removing some trim in other parts of the house to match the new trim. Overall, very nice job and I have recommended them a number of times.

We had a fantastic experience with Weickert's!! They did very high quality work and everyone we dealt with was extremely professional. All contacts with the office staff went well. John Buerger came out as scheduled to do the estimate. He was easy to deal with, courteous, responsive, knowledgeable, and answered all our questions. He promptly emailed me a reasonable estimate which we approved. The work was done by Calvin and his son Brian. They both have extensive experience in the hardwood business. They are both consummate craftsmen -- the "A Team" of hardwood refinishing. They are clearly committed to doing excellent work and are detail oriented. They were very respectful of our home and explained everything they were doing. They first sanded a large area and did test stains so we could choose the one we wanted. They were very patient with us as we took a longer time to decide. Dust was well controlled by their vacuum system. Calvin and Brian even brought in our deliveries and trash can! I asked John a few questions by email during and after the refinishing. Each time he responded within two hours! Everything went exactly as they said it would. There were no negative surprises. The floors look amazing! We went from a natural finish to a stained finish which really brought out the wood grain. The poly coat is smooth and beautiful. The job also involved replacing the shoe molding. The new molding actually looks better than the original! Calvin and Brian did a good job of cleaning up after they were done. I emailed John about the need for some minor touch-up after the job and Calvin came promptly to do the work. I would definitely use them again in the future! I already recommended them to a neighbor who stopped by, and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation!!

Men showed up on time, worked hard, and job was completed on time.

The sales staff was accessible, attentive and courteous and worked with us on price and any issues. The installation was done in a professional manner and all issues settled to our satisfaction. The floors look great!

All went well from estimation to completion. All of the workers were excellent and efficient. If they made a mess from tearing up the carpeting to installing the new flooring to sanding, they cleaned it up. Weickert's has my highest recommendation.

From the initial estimate provided by John through the installation by Calvin and his son, the entire performance on this project was outstanding. John is a kind, responsive, and knowledgeable person who responds to any issues rapidly and fully. Calvin and his son are first rate craftsmen, highly experienced and careful in the installation of new floors. Our project involved an especially difficult installation underneath the edge of a fireplace. They did an exceptional job on this complicated aspect and the rest of the job. I highly recommend Weichert for the installation of new hardwood floors without any reservation. They are a great team!

They were EXCELLENT! The work was very professional and of high quality. When the job was finished the houese was also quite clean. We highly recommend them.

Basically did a very good job. It was a little disappointing that the work wasn't finished when it was supposed to be done due to the high humidity. John was kind enough to take off some of the price for the inconvenience.

The customer service was excellent. She originally said it would take 2 weeks, but when I explained that we were expecting house guests, they got the rugs returned to me in only 10 days. The guys who picked up and delivered were really nice, but I was so dazzled by how great my rugs looked that I forgot to give him my Angie's List receipt and didn't question the price when he gave me the invoice; I just wrote him a check. Less than a week later, the office called me, notified me of my overpayment, and had a refund out to me within two days. The rugs really look wonderful, and although they didn't make any promises about the stains, they are mostly gone.

Weikert"s flooring completed the job on time as scheduled. They were punctual, polite and helpful. They helped to keep the dust to a minimum by hanging plastic between doorways and entrances. The company uses a vacuum sanding system to keep as much dust out of the house as possible. They hand sanded edges and corners. The stain is even ( no streaking), the polyurethane is applied like satin (no bubbles). They cleaned up after themselves and removed all trash and plasic from our home .

Our experience with Weickert's Hardwood Flooring Co. was awesome! The quote process was super easy as we were able to schedule a time online - they followed up a few hours later to confirm and we were set. John showed up right on time and gave us an honest answer as we were trying to save our 100+ year old floors. He was upfront about how in some areas we could run into problems and there was a risk we might have to replace certain sections - he told us they would go with a light sanding to ensure if there was damage, it would be minimal. We received the quote about 24 hours later and we were happy about the price - we estimated it would be around $3k as we also needed a patch completed in the kitchen (previous owners put tile in the areas where they could not save the updated maple floors... we also did the hard part of removing any carpet and glue from the previous owners which ended up saving some money). John and his team were able to book us right away and it only took a week. The guys who showed up were super friendly and always on time (right around 8:30/8:45am each day). They checked in throughout the day to make sure we were happy with the current progress and before leaving they made sure we understood what the following day would consist of. The quality of work was amazing and they were able to bring our floors back to life! They really took their time in bringing out the original details of the inlays we have - they look amazing!! The guys also gave us, in detail, the reason why in some areas the color did not take as well - it was due to the previous owners throughout the years and the possible different chemicals used on the floors... In knowing the age of the floors, we completely understood and are still happy they did everything they could to save them. We recently received the rest of the invoice (deposit is due upfront) and everything is in order - no surprises with these guys! We would use Weickert's again in the future and we recommend them to our friends and neighbors - if you know your floors have some age to them, these guys are the ones to call to help you save them! :)

Extremely professional service. John Buerger came out on the appointed day/time to provide a quote for the job. They were competitively priced. Then they came out a few days prior, to show stain samples so we can choose what we want. The job itself was extremely professional and I will highly recommend them! They completed the job earlier than expected and were courteous and clean! It is messy to get wood floors refinished but they used excellent equipment. Yes we had the expected amount of dust to clean up afterwards, but that is typical of this project. Will highly recommend them and use them again as needed!
