Weickert's

Markist showed up on time and was professional and courteous. With two dogs in the house there were areas that needed some extra attention. Markist worked on those areas a second time and overall we are pleased with the outcome. We prefer the dry cleaning carpet cleaning method (as opposed to a wet/shampoo method) which is why we called Weickert. Also, we were given a discount because of being members of Angie's List.

The installation went very well. The sales rep presented a realistic assessment of the work that needed to be completed. The price was competitive. They started within a reasonable time frame on the day that was promised. The installation team was quick and clean. Very friendly and accommodating of the cats and dog in the house. The finished job reflected exactly what we wanted to see. There were few blemishes. The ones identified were fixed.

They had special equipment that was very good at keeping the dust down. They did a great job with the repair, where you cannot even see where the boards have been replaced. They also did a nice job blending in the finish from the kitchen to the walkway. I paid $1759 after a discount they gave me and I think that was a reasonable price.

The service was fine. I felt like I got what I paid for. Their professionalism was good and they were very helpful. We would use them again if needed.

Everything looks great and Markist, the employee performing the cleaning was very friendly, helpful and professional. He did a great job and definitely did it right, I could tell he takes pride in his job. I am very impressed how much better the carpet looks and the oriental rug that he also cleaned. It took a bit longer than 3 hours to dry, but was dry by the evening and I am very satisfied with the result and with the Company.

The price was reasonable, they were on time, and did a good job. It was a good experience.

We were looking for a hardwood floor company because the previous owners had a big dog and the floors were scratched up and gouged. Weickert's did an excellent job in refinishing the floors! When we returned from our vacation the floors looked brand new and the flush mount floor vents were perfect. I highly recommend the company and would definitely use them again!

The floors are beautiful. Their bid came in a good bit higher than the other quote I received, but the other vendor didn't even notice the repairs that needed to be done. I felt the job they did reflected their knowledge and professionalism, and the quality was worth what we paid.

Did not use them as bid was significantly higher than other Angie's List vendor.

They were able to come out on Monday after I called on a Friday, which I greatly appreciated. They suggested some expensive solutions that I am sure would have looked amazing (e.g., putting veneers over the stair risers because stains on the risers would likely not sand out well). However, the price came in substantially over other estimates I had gotten (around $1500 more), and while I am sure the quality would have justified it, I was willing to have the floors come out good-but-not-amazing to keep my costs down. Although Eric was very nice about trying to find discounts, I also felt he was a little pushy in trying to make the sale. I think that if you want a top-of-the-line job and the dustless/low-VOC process is important (e.g., you want to stay in the house during the process), they'd be a good pick, but they didn't seem to be well suited to someone who was value-conscious, so I will be using another company.

They look so incredible! I just love it! They did a super job. We didn't have to worry about any sawdust because they have the equipment that sucks it up as they go. Everyone who came out was very helpful. The work was on time, it took exactly as long as he said it would. I got estimates that were a lot more involved and it would have just been a nightmare to go with any of them. He knew exactly what kind of wood it was and what to do with it. It was a really good experience. His price was right in range. They have great customer service. As soon as I have enough money I will hire him again.

They always make the carpets look new. They have a fabulous cleaning solution for maintenance.

In my opinion, after I pulled my carpet up, the floors were in bad condition. I didn't really hold out a lot of hope that they would look good because there were so many stains. They made my floors look like they were new! I was absolutely blown away by their workmanship and their ability. They worked like crazy! I would definitely hire them again! They gave me a 10% discount for being an Angie's List member too!

They're punctual and reliable. They made my wife mad the last time because she said that they charged her $4.50 for gasoline to come and clean the rugs. After that the price of gas went down. That's really something nobody should do; it should be part of the operating expenses.

I contacted Weickert's to have an estimate done. Eric and John worked with me to schedule the estimate and came out to look at the 2 rooms that needed work. The office took priority due to the move time and work that could be scheduled prior to furniture delivery. The crew came in and replaced the wood patch with pine floor, and they were all very clear that the patch wouldn't match exactly due to the difference in age and species, but they would get it to match as closely as possible. They worked on staining and finishing the floor and came out to put additional stain on the floor to achieve a better color match. At the end, the floor color is a very close match and looks great! There was very little dust in the process (normally my biggest complaint) and they left the work area very neat throughout.

I definitely would say it went well. I also would add that they lived up to the reputation and recommendations I received from others. The quality of the work they perform is outstanding. The employees are total professionals and knowledgeable.

They are an excellent company who shows up on time and they also do the job well. I assume that the price is fair. They have a coupon in the Angies List magazine.

I have been very very pleased with them. I have used them before I think this is the third time. They gladly accepted the 50% off coupon that I had from the Angie's List book, and even without the coupon the price was very reasonable.

I will never use anyone else. They show up on time and they throughly clean the rug. They get all the corners and baseboards. I'll be a lifetime customer.

The employees were very knowledgeable and experienced. They came to do the work requested and did not subject me to a long sales pitch with bunches of add-on services to jack up the price. They treated pet odor areas at no charge even though that service had been a part of the original order. Overall, it was a painless experience compared to other companies I had hired.

Chris and Roderick arrived on time and were very professional. They were courteous, friendly, and did a great job of cleaning my carpeting. I've used this company before, and I've always been impressed with their work. I will use them again.

Owner, Eric Weickert, came and sanded a strip of our existing floor and then he put down half a dozen stains for us to show us what they would look like. We decided on what we liked and then scheduled the work. The company was able to complete the work over two different phases while we were out of town. They were even able to move some of our furniture items that we were unable to move. The price is right in the ballpark in the $2-3 per square foot range which is what you will get for most hardwood floor refinishing bids. They claim that the work is dustless and this is very much true. There was a little dust, which is to be expected, but very very little -- we were impressed by the lack of dust. The employees are courteous, work quickly and do high quality work. Scheduling was also VERY easy. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the work and the price that we paid. Our floors look remarkably better than before. I would highly recommend Weickert's.

Well worth paying a little more for their great carpet cleaning work. They had a separate machine to clean the last 2 inches against the wall. Thus eliminating the nasty grey line where vacuums and big cleaning machines don't reach. And they were able to remove "impossible stains" preventing the need to replace carpeting. Wow. Great job.

The workers arrived in the time frame given, and completed the work in about 2 hours. They said to wait several hours, 4 I think, for the material to dry. The workers were polite and seemed knowledgeable. After the carpet and sofas were dry, I noticed some spots that were not removed as well as white-like streaks on the sofas. I went over them myself with some carpet cleaner spray that I had on hand, and now they look fine. The carpet looked fine. I didn't call the company just because it was easier for me to handle it myself. I might use them again for the carpet, but not for upholstery.
