Stopped by their store to see what products they carried. They were able to recommend 2 models and rough estimate of cost just based on my measurements of my fireplace. Went back 2 weeks later to scheduled an appointment for someone to come to the house for an official quote. He showed up on time, verified my measurements, and verified that what I had requested was possible. Paid half up front to order new insert. Arrived and installed 2 weeks later. Capped my gas line, setup insert to use outside air. Very pleased with their work. Always on time.

They did a good job. They came when they said would and cleaned up after themselves.

Called Monday, had apppointment by Wednesday with two hour appt window and quoted flat rate for dryer duct cleaning. Arrived in scheduled time and got right to work. Professional, careful, efficient. Didn't try to sell added products or push annual contracts. Excellent value for the money considering the length and height involved in accessing the vent. I'll definitely call again in a couple years when the vent is due for another cleaning.

Vonderhaar came in under-budget for the work. They came out when they said that they would and did the job in less time than they estimated. We had no problems with them during the project. I would absolutely hire them again in the future.

Only one of our chimneys needed cleaning, and the chimney guy was efficient and clean. We had one chimney with some masonry damage and we got an estimate for what that repair would cost in the future.

Vonderhaar Fireplace Stove and Masonry cleaned our chimney. They did a great job. The repairman was very professional and knowledgeable. He was very clean and neat. There was not an ounce of soot in my house. He was a very nice guy.

We just moved into our new home and wanted the chimney cleaned and inspected before using it. We called Vonderhaar and had the work scheduled very quickly. They were prompt and very professional. The chimney sweep took about 15 - 20 minutes. They put down a drop cloth in front of the chimney and also vacuumed up after the work was complete. They also inspected the chimney and let us know repairs were needed for the crown and damper. They provided an estimate of the work required for the repairs. We also used a coupon for the work, from a magazine. Overall it was a good experience.

They were very quick and courteous. I was told that there are certain parts of my chimney that need repair and they would send me a quote in the mail to do so.

I was very impressed with our serviceman, Tim. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. He gave us information on how to make our fireplace more safe and efficient. Additional work is needed to make the fireplace more safe, a quote from the office is on the way. Very happy with the service!

Everything went well. Thought that the job would take longer. It seemed they climbed up there and finished rather quickly. My husband wasn't home that day, so he called to discuss what work they had completed. It took a few weeks, but the answers were satisfactory and we paid our bill.

They have inspected & swept my chimney for the last two years. They did a great job & they don't try to sell me additional things I don't need. I will continue to use them.

A few days b4 my appt.I realized I could not get off of work, so called to cancel. I spoke with a nice man,told him it was hard for me to get off of work, & asked 4 a Saturday appt., to which he told me that they were booked up for Saturdays for awhile. Even though I told him I was in no hurry, he talked me into an appt. the next Fri., saying he would give me the 1st am appt. and only a 1hr window time frame (9-10am). On appt, day, at 10:30, I called to find out they hadn't even left yet. They wouldn't make it until after 11:30. I complained & asked for a discount on the estimate as I was losing $ being off work the extra time, to which she offered a only $10. Didn't seem concerned that my time was $, and not only was I paying THEM to come out, but losing $ from work. Later, driver called and suddenly could give me an estimate over the phone. Was then rude, laughed when I said I didn't think they would be the one doing my work, so I hung up.Very unprofessional.Lost $120 being off work.

Very well. Vonderhaar got an estimate to us very quickly. The work was completed on time and they matched the grouting to an astonishing degree. We're very pleased with the outcome.

They had the best offer per air duct. The technician was on time, nice to talk to and work with, and the left site clean. We did it before we moved into the house and found out later that three air ducts were not connected, so I guess we overpaid.

The company representative was very professional. He removed the old chimney back, replaced the new one and left no mess behind.

The mason who did the work, with a helper, liked to talk better than work. They worked about half the time they were on the site. Part of the job was to put mortar on a brick slope to seal the exposed brick. It was not done to our expectations, and the owner of the company had to help finish it off. In the process, they used a batch of mortar that was not tinted to the shade of the first batch resulting in two shades on the slope. Bottom line is the work took longer than it should have, and the quality of the work was marginal. Did they seal it properly? I have no way of telling and my confidence is not high.

Eli was on time and did a very good and thorough job. It took them 2.5 hrs to finish the job, and they were very professional. Eli explained everything and gave some great tips how to conserve energy. When I first talked to Air Rite, they failed to mention 4 extra vents in the basement will be added on. They did explain why and I was happy with that. I strongly recommend them.

First worker did not do a very thorough inspection of the chimney & didn't even get up on the roof because he said he didn't have the right kind of ladder. He only looked through the flue with a mirror, which I could have done myself. A $73 fee was charged for the inspection and estimate for two chimney caps (10 min). However, this fee was subtracted from the overall amount when I had them complete the work. They arrived one day early without calling (I was at work) to complete the first cap & came back the second day to finish the second, very confusing. Wish I would have been notified of this arrangement. I would have been home at least one of those times. Don't know what to say about professionalism because I never met the guys who installed the caps. Can't comment on the quality of the work because I didn't see it being installed, & can't view it all from the ground. Trusting it's OK. May or may not hire again. Didn't appreciate the 1st guy not getting up on the roof to inspect.

COUPON FOR DUCT CLEANING, $135; TRIP CHARGE, $15; HAD ADDITIONAL MAIN TRUNK CLEANED, $70. WE HAVE AN ELECTRONIC AIR FILTER SYSTEM ON OUR FURNACE, AND IT HAS BEEN NOTICEABLY LESS ACTIVE SINCE THE DUCTS WERE CLEANED. THE HOLE WHICH HAS TO BE CUT IN THE MAIN DUCT WAS COVERED OVER WITH A PIECE OF METAL, NOT JUST CARDBOARD TAPED INTO PLACE AS I HAVE SEEN DONE IN OTHER HOMES. GOOD JOB, VERY THOROUGH.

WHEN THEY ARRIVED, THEY BEGAN WORK IMMEDIATELY AFTER LETTING US KNOW THEY HAD ARRIVED. UPON INSPECTION, THEY FOUND A SERIOUS INSTALLATION PROBLEM WITH THE LINER THAT HAD BEEN INSTALLED BY ANOTHER COMPANY (THEY'RE REVIEW WILL FOLLOW TRUST ME!). AIRITE DOCUMENTED THE PROBLEM WHICH WILL BE SENT FOR RECTIFICATION. WE SUBSEQUENTLY ADDED A CHIMNEY CLEANING, A LOCKING CHIMNEY CAP (TO REPLACE A BROKEN DAMPER) AND UPON AIRITE'S RECOMMENDATION A CROWN SEAL. IN SHORT, TRUST THIS COMPANY AND ITS PEOPLE. YOU'LL BE HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE AND QUALITY OF THE WORK. WE DEALT WITH BRITTANY AT THE HOME OFFICE AND SHE WAS FRIENDLY AND ACCOMMODATING. OUR INSTALLERS; KIRK & LEVI; WERE PROFESSIONAL, PUNCTUAL AND INFORMATIVE.

I CANNOT GRADE PRICE ACCURATELY BECAUSE I HAVE NO PAST EXPERIENCE TO COMPARE IT.
