They were efficient and timely. They did not break anything. They did a good job. I will hire them again. They were very professional, clean, and tidy. They were very good. I rate them high overall.

Everything went fine. They were very careful with all of our stufff. They have very reasonable prices and this is the third time I have used this company. I will use again.

The person, Joy when I called to gather the information helped me walk through the process of what I needed to do because I didn't know. My mum rather needed her apartment to be vacated because my son-in-law was coming from Atlanta to take up some of the furniture. I was having to go pick him up and she suggested that I could call them one way so she helped me just to figure out how to get everything the way it needed to be. She called me to confirm and everything. The guys were on time, ready to work and they got everything done. They just started at 9 and everything was done by 11:30, 12' O clock. It wasn't a whole bunch of stuff because they decided the big furniture moved, but again they moved it on the U-Haul that was going to Atlanta. They put stuff on their truck for my house and both of my sister's houses and then they took the rest of the stuff that we no longer needed and took it to the donation center. They were very helpful. I would use them again in the future.

Valley Moving & Storage Inc did a good job. One person ended up assembling a bed that my sister had bought and it was quite an involved process. He did an excellent job and charged me later for it. It could have been less expensive but, they did not damage anything. I am not going to move again but, I will refer them to others.

The movers arrived promptly and loaded the truck quickly, but carefully. They then moved the contents across town, making an extra stop to deliver a piano to a separate location. They unloaded the truck with great care and were extremely efficient. I have used this company before and would highly recommend.

Overall very pleased. It was a cold rainy day, and they did their best to keep things clean and dry. I have used them again for a smaller move in July 2010.

Movers came to the old residence at 8:00 am Monday morning. Furniture was loaded and movers proceded to a storage company about 15 miles away. Furniture was removed and storage was emptied and the movers went to the new residence. The move was completed within 2 hours and the movers helped in assembling a new bed and dresser even though this was outside the parameter of their job.They were very polite and the move wasn't stressful or disruptive. I think that this company deserves the highest rating because the same superior service has been maintained from a few years ago when my family used these movers.

Their estimate was for $600. They were very knowledgeable. Their customer service person that I spoke with, seemed to be very knowledgeable than the other places that I called enquiring about the moving help that I needed back in April 2010. I did not go with them because the other service provider that I went with was better regarded on Angie's List and had better availability for the dates that I needed. I could not work out their availability. I would definitely give them a call in the future if I am moving.

They did a fantastic job. We would hire them for certain again!! The cost was roughly ~$99/hour for 3 people.

Valley did a fabulous job for us. The office staff was friendly and efficient, and checked in with us a few days before the move to make sure everything was set. The movers were careful and courteous, and got the entire house moved quickly. The price was more than reasonable. I can't imagine hiring anyone else after this experience.

It was an excellent experience. The price was very reasonable and the customer service from the movers was outstanding.

We have used Valley Movers about 3 times now to do local moves. They work hard, offer helpful suggestions, and take great care with our possessions. I would highly recommend them.

Overall, it was a terrible experience. For starters, the movers were a bunch of complainers; astonishingly, they complained constantly about having to move boxes up and down stairs! Additionally, it took them (three men) three hours just to load up the truck. We had used Two Men and a Truck for a prior move (same belongings) and it took Two Men 2/3 less time to get the job done. Not only was it a costly move because of the pace at which they worked, but because of the smoke breaks they took and a 20 minute stop at a convenience store, which we had to pay for. All of this would be somewhat justifiable if they had taken care with our belongings, but, instead, very expensive furniture got scratched because they piled piece on top of piece without using furniture pads. (When confronted about the scratches on our plastic Eames chair, they claimed that they did not consider a plastic chair to be furniture so they had mistakenly piled heavy abrasive pieces on top of it.) To top it off, after the move, we left them a voicemail about a missing piece of a bookcase and they did not bother to return the call. We hired this company because of the excellent reviews we read on Angie's list but were extremely disappointed with the service and would not recommend using them.

This is the second time we've hired Valley for moving services and we wouldn't look elsewhere. They are punctual and professional, but of greater importance to us, they are respectful of our home.

The movers arrived exactly on time and the two young men who moved my daughter's belongings were professional, courteous, friendly and efficient. They wasted no time and worked hard. I highly recommend Valley Moving and Storage for your moving needs.

They were excellent. They were very neat. They didn't damage any of the furniture. They were just all around very good.

Move went very well. Glass table was very large,old and awkward. Charged by the hour and movers hustled, but were very carefully with furniture and house. Have used company before and will continue to use them in the future.

Great experience. Three man moving team arrived on time and went right to work. They did not waste time. They were professional and helpful. Took just under 4 hours start to finish which included a 30 minute drive between pick up and delivery locations. They also made an extra, previously unscheduled stop to take some furniture off at an intermediate location. "No problem!"

First, Joy, who is the scheduler is extremely helpful. We had to change our move date at the last minute due to a health issue, and she was more than eager to help out and reschedule on short notice. She was very caring about the situation. Dave, Dustin, and Paul moved us. It was a sweltering day, even though it was early morning, but they worked very hard. They did not mess around. At the same time, they are were very respectful and personable. They loaded the entire contents of our house in one hour! It took a bit longer to unload at our apartment, because it was on the 4th floor and you have to use an elevator. However, they worked very quickly and efficiently in order to get the job done as fast as possible. At the same time, their speed did not compromise their quality. My wife commented as she unpacked that NOTHING seemed to be broken during the move, a first in our experience after many moves with different companies. One thing that can help any moving company is to have your stuff packed and organized BEFORE they arrive. The guys form Valley were very appreciative of the work we did to prepare for them. These guys really deserve the great reputation they have on Angie's List. I would not hesitate to use them again and I would highly recommend them for any move.

Three people came out for the move. They did not mess around at all, and they got my condo all set up.

These guys did a FANTASTIC job from beginning to end! They were here right before their starting time, took one small break for lunch, and kept chugging along until the job was completed. We had A LOT of things to move, and not one time did anyone complain, fall down on the job, or even nick any furniture or walls (that's a minor miracle to me (-: ). They were very friendly and polite. Even the woman who took my call inquiring about their fees and procedures was extremely nice and polite. She also checked back a few days before the move to confirm the job. Valley Moving and Storage was the cheapest of the three companies we checked into (the other two being from the top of Angie's List). I HIGHLY recommend them to everyone I know who could use their services. I don't have one single complaint about them; they're terrific!! Thank you SO much Ron, Paul, Tom, and the other two guys whose names I can't remember (I'm sorry)!!

The company sent 2 men to move the office desks and furniture. They showed up on time, were very professional and hard working. Costs were in line with the estimate given over the phone and the estimate of the moving time was right on target. The move went very smooth even though they were not told by their office about having to move the heavy furniture up steps to the second floor at our office.I would not hesitate to call Valley Moving again if I need moving services again in the future.

The crew arrived promptly at 8:00 AM and got to work immediately and very efficiently. They were careful with any type of delicate items, and answered any questions/concerns that we had. By noon the job was finished. We were really impressed with the speed and care with which they worked. We were very happy with Valley Moving and Storage.

I should start by saying I've used Valley for several moves over the years, the last one being 3 yrs ago, and have had positive experiences with them. These are veteran movers, very experienced/trustworthy, and this is an "independent owner" local business, which we like to support. As regards this particular move: Upon arrival, they surveyed the rooms and items to develop a "roadmap" for the move. Shortly into the move, they realized they needed a bigger truck and a couple more crew members, and called in to arrange such (the scheduler, Joy, and I had underestimated what we'd need.) They reviewed with me a couple of options regarding this, i.e., the price for using the truck and crew they had with 2 trips made, versus the price for one trip with 2 trucks and 2 extra crew. Once the extra crew arrived, things really flew. Jim most in particular worked closely with my husband and I to ensure things went smoothly and is the one who ensured our "loose items" got packed in wardrobe boxes. Jim is also the one who moved boxes we'd initially had placed in the new house's garage to upstairs rooms in the house--he did this with a "happy to help" attitude which we really appreciated. Justin was also quite good at keeping things moving. ALL the guys were efficient, helpful, respectful, and worked very hard (in the rain, no less!) to ensure a positive experience. Only one guy (Tom) was a bit off-putting with some of his comments, but he worked very, very hard too, so we really have no complaints. They took scheduled, appropriate breaks and moved at a busy pace. I'd use them again in a move and would recommend them to others without hesitation, ESPECIALLY if you care about the integrity of your walls, carpet and furniture--they are very mindful/careful about not dinging up your walls, furniture, carpet...This really is a case of "you get what you pay for." If cost is your primary concern, you may want to take your chances with a "Two Men and a Truck" kind of company; if you (like I do) give more value to ensuring your items (particularly your antique or valuable items) get there in good shape and that your walls etc not be damaged, then these are your guys.

Entitely pleased with personnel and work they did. Worked almost non-stop.
