I thought they did a real good job. They put all the stuff for storage in one truck and the other truck had our things for the apartment. They were very reasonable priced and punctual. I would say there were professional, courteous, and very good at what they did.

They guys were on time, fast, courteous, careful, and professional. We will use Valley Moving and Storage again in a few weeks to move the rest of our belongings. The person on the phone who did the customer service and scheduling was really nice and highly professional as well. Great experience of them from the initial phone call to the finished work.

The owner promptly provided a free estimate after my initial call. He estimated the move to take 6-7 hours and cost approximately $708.00. The 3 man crew arrived very promptly on the day of the move (they were actually early!), and they were all courteous and efficient. I was pleasantly surprised that the entire move of the 'big stuff' (we moved the smaller boxes on our own since the new house was a short distance away) only took 4.75 hours. I was only charged $560.73 despite the higher initial estimate. I felt this company was very honest and trustworthy. The guys never wasted time to make the move last longer. I appreciated their hard work and care with my items. No furniture was damaged, which is quite the relief! I would highly recommend this company to friends and family planning a move.

I cannot praise Valley Moving and Storage enough. The workers were careful, thorough, and efficient. In addition they were courteous and had many helpful suggestions. We were thoroughly pleased, and I do not hesitate to recommend them.

The two men were prompt, nice, fast, and professional. It was raining so they put down floor protectors so they wouldn't make a mess. Only complaint: they charged the same hourly rate for both drive tme and moving time, whereas some companies charge 3/4 for drive time...and they combined our delivery with another delivery originating from the same warehouse, so i expected them to only charge us 1/2 for the shared drive time...but, I was happy with their work so I didn't question it or complain:) Overall, very satisfied and will use them again for our next small job.

Movers were very punctual and finished the job in a little over half the time estimated.

. Adam, Justin and Jimmy moved me. They were punctual, professional and above all, personable! They did little things like put glass shelving holders ( pegs) in envelopes, found a little workout timer that I use daily and placed it in a box where I'd find. Just the little things that really count were done! They didn't even stop for lunch and beat me to my new home and were unloading before I got there! I would recommend this company to anyone. Oh, and they took apart and treadmill and most importantly, were able to put it back together once in my new home so that I could use it the next day.

The move went well. They showed up on time, worked hard, and were completely professional.

I needed to move on short notice, I called Valley Moving and Storage based off the reviews on Angie's list. I forget the name of young lady I spoke to but she asked when I needed to move by, I advised her soon as possible, her reply was how does tomorrow sound? I wasn't ready for that answer, but was very happy. I was told that they would be at my apartment at 830am, at 820am, Dave, Dustin and Ron showed up ready to pack and box our place up. I was impressed with the rate of work, professionalism, and experience they all demonstrated. They were straight forward on what was not insured, and made sure that I was aware of it prior to being boxed. It gave me the chance to decide if I wanted to risk any item being packed/boxed. Dustin assured me that nothing was going to happen, and I trusted his judgment. At no fault to Valley Moving, I had more stuff then I even realized and they ran short boxes, which they fixed on the actual move day. The move was fast and efficient, once at our new residence, Dustin, Ron and the biggest Michigan football fan ever (kidding) unloaded, unpacked stuff in record time. They asked where I wanted everything, which side of the closet I wanted clothes hung on, ect...I have found nothing broken or missing, which also speaks volumes to the men and women that work for Valley moving. Thanks for an easy and no stress move.

Valey Moving showed up promptly at quarter until 8 in the morning and walked through the house to listen to instructions about what was to be moved, etc. There were 5 men and all introduced themselves. They were clean cut, courteous and friendly. They quickly went to work. They worked quickly, but were careful with fragile items. They loaded up a large truck which they packed in carefully with much padding. They took a short break for lunch. Drove to new house. Unloaded items and put them where we instructed the items go. They went back to the first house and loaded the large truck again. They brought the next load of items to the new house and unloaded. They asked where things needed to go and helped put items together like the beds and some of the larger desks that needed to be assembled. They helped arrange the furniture to my satisfaction. They worked very hard to finish up before rain came. They left at almost 6pm. They worked diligently and professionally. Moving is a hard task and the work they did was worth every penny! I absolutely recommend Valley Moving!

The men showed up on time, started right away and were very professional. They completed the work within 5 hours. It was very hot that day but they did not take many breaks. They were the least expensive of those we looked and and did provide us a discount for being a member of Angie's list. We were extremely pleased with the movers and would recommend them to anyone.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are not reliable! I had scheduled this company to help me unload my belongings from the truck to my 3rd floor apartment. They called twice to confirm that they would be arriving tomorrow afternoon and that they would call ahead of time. Well they did call ahead of time at 9am to say they would be there in 30 mins, I missed their phone call because I was driving. They did not leave their phone number on the message to call directly either. They were not scheduled to arrive in the morning! I was not even in the city yet. They showed up at the leasing office and the agent told them I was not scheduled to arrive until 11am. They did not make an effort to call back or show back up. They never came in the afternoon at all, even though that is when they were scheduled and confirmed for! I called the company 5 times and left repeated messages. I am very disappointed and will NOT recommend this company to anyone! It is already stressful enough without having to worry about UNRELIABLE movers.

First the good: They were courteous and respectful, from the office staff to all of the packers and movers. They genuinely seemed concerned that I was satisfied and emphasized the fact they are a family business with no subs. Damage almost always occurs during a move and this move was no exception; however, damage was limited to one item that was not protected adequately during the move. They immediately accepted responsibility and had the item repaired and delivered it to my home. Now the bad: They seriously underestimated the amount of packing required for the job and in my opinion, at some point during the second day of packing, they just gave up. As I understand it as told to me by one of the packers, the truck driver told the packing crew that if they didn't finish up in time he was leaving without them. The driver did in fact leave before they finished and the packers had to remain and transport the rest in a pickup truck. They got sloppy: they left cabinets, vanities, and shelves unpacked in my old house and as a result, I had to spend several hours and make multiple trips to the old house the day after the move to pack and move those items myself; which put me behind schedule in listing my home for sale. In addition, they left their belongings, packing materials, and boxes in my old garage and I had to call them to come get them. It literally looked like they left in a fire. Their estimate was about 25% lower than their final cost, which was a big blow to my moving budget and finances. They admitted to me when they presented me with the final bill that they had seriously underestimated the packing cost. I had been concerned about this from the beginning and even questioned them after receiving the estimate as to how accurate their estimates usually were. The response I received was, "Our estimates are usually pretty accurate, within a few hundred dollars of the estimated total. A lot of times the estimate is higher and the amount due is less. " My final bill was not just a few hundred dollars lower than the estimate. In summation, I am not sure what happened because based on the reviews it seems my experience may be an anomaly . I would simply caution others to get at least three bids and really try to drill down in the estimates to get a good idea of whether the estimate seems accurate by comparing it to the other bids. I clearly did do a good enough job comparing "apples to apples."

The moving crew, Seth and Jason were on time and got to work right away. They were both very professional and extremely hardworking AND worked quickly. I made it a point to stop them a couple times to make sure they didn't need water because I did not see them taking any breaks. They were also very careful with my belongings and able to navigate some large items through tight spaces with out damaging the walls or furniture. (I was very impressed.) They were able to complete the move in less time than was estimated which brought my initial estimate of $610 to $514. (On my end, I did make sure my belongings were packed and ready to go. I also assisted with small items and later at the house my spouse assisted as well.) The whole experience was very similar to having friends and family move my belongings. If you are looking for a company who treats you like an individual, not a number, I highly recommend Valley Moving. I prefer working with family owned businesses and I am happy to say that my decision to choose Valley Moving was a stress-free, top-quality job, with a professional hardworking crew. Thank you Valley Moving for such a pleasant experience.

The entire experience was excellent. The scheduler was courteous and helpful. The men showed up exactly on time and were professional and very quick! I had anticipated the entire move would take 5-6 hours and they were done in 3.5 hours. Will definitely use them again.

They are one of my favorites. I haven’t moved anywhere in the last 30 years that Valley did not move us. Once they were packing us from a huge old stucco. I had a book and a box full of credit cards. They were doing the packing and when I got to the house that box and book with all the credit cards were still there. They are very careful and very meticulous about how they move my furniture. I rate them high overall.

Very, very well. Not only did we have two existing households going into a new house but had a lot of stuff. We were nervous about hardwood floors in new house but they put covers down/ There were absolutely no scapes to the house and nothing was broken. The guys were responsive to special requestss and making sure everything was exactly as we wanted. Everything was set up great including beds, washer, dryer, etc. They worked very hard - we had lots of steps in the old house (going upstairs and to the basement) We used standard boxes from Home Depot and Lowes and followed the guidelines from Valley - especially for books, dishes, etc. Would definitely use them again.

They were very responsive, prompt and efficient. I thought that they did a good job. Everything arrived safely on both ends and that was good.

I felt like I received superior service from Valley Movers from my first call. They were able to give me a quote and move the entire contents of my home in Montgomery to a new home in Wapakoneta with less than two weeks notice. The owner came to my house to give me an estimate. The day of the move, they were early. It was 90+ degrees and the three men worked very hard, efficiently and with professionalism. They completed the job in less time than anticipated and it enabled us to pay less for their service. Courteous, friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend them for moving services.

The actual men who showed up to do the moving were polite and prompt. However, when some of my parents' antique furniture was damaged (they had purchased insurance from Valley in case of damages) they were terrible to work with. After a number of phone calls that were not returned, they finally sent someone to get an estimate for repairs. Months and many phone calls later, the damage was still not repaired. Finally, my mother had to make a report to the BBB before they ever even showed up to fix the damaged furniture. The entire process took many months to resolve. Also, during the move itself, they did not pack the truck well or fully, requiring an extra trip, in which they still did not gather all of their belongings in a mostly empty truck. Having already paid for one extra trip, my parents had to return to their old home to ask the new owners if they could please gather their remaining belongings. Thank goodness it was not a long distance move this time! The niceness of the young men and the receptionist are not enough to make up for the lack of complete work, follow-through, or responsiveness when resolving the damaged goods problem. Neither my parents nor I would call them again.

I called Valley based on the recommendation of a friend. The person answering was very friendly, said someone would call me back. They never did. I figured if they wanted my business they should call me. I used Bekens instead. They were prompt, friendly, and their pricing seemed fair.

Proceeded without complications. Nothing broken, nothing missing. Frankly, I had thought I would have spent more money but they didn't take as long as I had estimated. All very straightforward to set up the service, and execution was as hoped for.
