They did a good job. I actually recommended them to my sister and she used them. The were punctual and professional. Nothing broke.

It all went perfectly. They were on time, worked hard the entire time, were very flexible as I added items in the middle of the move and were careful with our belongings. Everyone was very polite and friendly. The price was reasonable and what I expected. Great job.

At first we were going to use a big national chain for our in-town local move from our house in Hyde Park to our new house in Columbia Township, as the big national companies were who we were familiar with from our previous corporate relocations. I'm so glad I looked on Angie's List though and saw the strong reviews for this great local company! They bid for packing, moving and unpacking and not only did their bid come in thousands of dollars less than the national chain bids, but they also bid a day less work than the others. They showed up right on time and they spent the first day carefully packing our home and even started moving things to our new home early that first day since they were done packing, which was great. The second moving day went really smoothly and they were done moving and unpacking our boxes by 4pm that second day. We had no issues with the move and nothing was lost, broken or damaged. On top of that they were all really friendly, polite, and respectful at all times and overall were just super nice. Adam was a great crew leader and most of the crew have worked together regularly for years and we had no temporary contractors on our crew. You could tell they all cared about the job they did. The packing and unpacking was just a few hundred dollars more and it was so worth it to save our time and hassle. I'm so glad we went with Valley Moving and would highly recommend them for an in-town Cincinnati move!

It went great. Jason and John came right went expected and got right to work. Both gentlemen were very pleasant and easy to talk to and work with. Both guys worked very hard for 4 hours.

The four-man crew showed up on time, introduced themselves, and went to work. We have several large, awkward antiques which they handled with incredible skill. We were moving a lot of furniture into a three-story townhouse, so it was a long day with lots of stairs. This move was complicated by the fact that we had asked them to make an additional stop to deliver an old couch and a partially-disassembled dresser to a young friend in a small apartment. They even offered to assemble the dresser for her before they left. They were careful and courteous throughout and a pleasure to work with. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Valley Moving & Storage did an excellent job of moving us from our old house to our new house. This was literally a move up the street. The packing was very good, although I actually did a better job with packing the boxes I packed (I am very anal) but we had not damage so in the end, it all worked out. We had a lot of wood floors in both the old and new house, so I was concerned about damage. They were very careful and professional with both the furniture and the floors and other accessories. There were some big pieces that were a tight fit and they did an excellent job. They worked really hard, and only took a brief break for lunch. We bought them lunch and two of the movers didn't want anything because it would slow them down. My only slight quibble (for which I would probably give them an A-) is that at one point they started taking things in through the front door and the garage simultaneously. The items they put in the garage were loaded in such a way that it was not well thought through and organized, and as a result there was not room for one car in a three car garage. In retrospect we should have had one adult supervising the garage loading and one supervising the front door loading to direct them better instead of both being in the front. There was more than enough space in the garage that it should have been easy to better organize things to give us more room, but all in all, that is a minor issue. Where it mattered most they delivered and exceeded all my expectations. One mover even broke a finger jamming it on a door, and he kept right on going! I had real concerns on whether they could finish the job in one day, as another very well regarded on Angie's List local mover said it would likely be a two day move, but they got it done. Adam did end up bringing two extra movers to make sure, so it did cost a little more than the original estimate, but I had already budgeted that in my calculations. Net, I would use Valley again given the care they took with the move.

I thought they were very careful, very efficient and I was very pleased. They were on time.

Moving furniture and boxes from inside garage into house. We had beds and dressers to go to 2nd floor as well as basement ... Eric and Tim were very conscience of the walls after they left I found one dent in the foyer wall on the steps but if they did it is was not for lack of trying not to. I am normally not a big tipper but I felt as if they tried very hard so I tipped more than I would normally ... I will use them again

The three guys showed up on time, were careful not to nick walls. This is a cheerful, professional group that we've used before. When I looked at the bill, however, I didn't recall paying a "travel" charge before and it was $100 so I called but never heard back. That was a surprise and that's why I gave them 4 stars for responsiveness. PS I have no idea what Band of Neighbors is.

The guys were excellent and very careful. Everything went smoothly, there were no problems at all.

David and Dustin showed up 16 minutes early. They were very personable, clean and professional. They moved me quickly and carefully. I would not hesitate to use this company in the future and I highly recommend them. Thank you Two Men and a Truck for not returning my call. I would not have discovered these guys if you had.

It went very good. First of all they were right on time. They were extremely hard working, very fast. They didn't waste anytime. I don't think they even took a break and they should have.

Friendly and professional. Every expectation met or exceeded. These guys went above & beyond what I expected, they made a difficult day of moving almost fun! These guys really seemed to care about what they do.

This provider moved our furniture and boxes out of our 2 story home on a very hot and humid day. It took approximately 6 hours. They arrived on time and worked straight through until everything was loaded in truck. The supervisor took a large work bench in his personal pick up truck due to size. They then took the stuff back to their storage location and unloaded everything in storage boxes (pallets). Two months later they repacked the trucks, using 2 trucks this time, and moved the furniture and boxes to our new home. It took about 5 hours to unload everything. The movers disassembled furniture like detaching the mirrors from dressers and taking apart bed frames. They wrapped mirrors, floor lamps and other large potentially breakable items. We pre-packed all the boxes. Moving the stuff out of our house was efficient, with no damage to home, walls, or doors. Moving in our new house was efficient, with no damage to home, walls, or doors. There was no damage to furniture. A few items packed in boxes were broken when we unpacked, but we packed these ourselves so we did not blame the movers. Some candles had melted, we assumed due to heat in storage. They used a crew, with one leader and 3 other people. The first crew was excellent. The second crew was very good, but there was one person on second crew who seemed frustrated, for instance he told us he did expect to reassemble furniture. The cost and storage fees were consistent with other movers. We would use these movers again.

We searched Angie's List and narrowed our choices to two A rated companies, then called both for estimates. Both gave us rough estimates over the phone, then we set appointments for both to send someone out for a more precise estimate. Valley Moving & Storage came in at half the phone estimate of the other, so we hired them on the spot. They did exactly what they said they would, moved everything quickly and carefully, and were extremely professional and personable. Best part was that they came in under their own bid by quite a lot, so we were really thrilled.

They came on time even though it was snowing quite a bit that morning. They were well prepared for the move and the 3 crew members were courteous, professional and efficient. They did a walk-through of the house to assess the amount of furniture/boxes and immediately went to work. They took good care of our belongings and nothing was damaged. I was very satisfied with their work and I wouldn?t think twice of using Valley Moving & Storage again in the future.

The guys arrived on time, and lucky enough they brought an extra truck and an extra guy for the move. The owner who did my estimate must have known we wouldn't quite get all of our boxes moved on our own! I was happy to see that they were well prepared for the job. After a quick walk-through to see all the stuff, they got right to work. All four men were polite, respectful, and professional. They took care with all of our items during loading and unloading. The unloading at the new house was kind of chaotic because we are having renovations done, so no furniture could go into the basement. They gladly put pieces of furniture anywhere I needed, and even made helpful suggestions as to placement for ease of access to furniture and rooms. They took their time putting items together and worked hard to do a good job and get it done right. I will definitely be using them again soon, the head mover told me they do in-home moves. We will need that service when the reno is done, and we can move all of our furniture into appropriate places.

Two guys came to my old house just on time. Moving was smooth. They did exactly what I asked for.

They were prompt, courteous. They had enough personnel and equipment to do the job. They were careful about the woodwork and doors and they moved the contents. They were creative about getting all the assets into the storage unit.

Scheduling was easy - I even called and moved it up one week without any issues. The three guys sent to move me were very enjoyable and didn't complain a bit when I would ask them to move my furniture around for me. They did not ding a single wall - even when they took my king size mattress up the stairs. They hooked up my washer and dryer for me too - not all companies will do that. They did a final walk through with me to make sure all of my furniture was exactly where I wanted it. An absolute pleasure to work with.

I called to schedule the move about 10 days in advance. It took a day or two for the office to reply, but the schedule was fairly open and I was able to pick the exact day I wanted. I requested they move most of my household from one location to the other. She explained the fees and extra charges (mileage, fuel). The week of the move, I needed to add a third stop, ask a few questions, and find out the arrival time. I called the office 3 times and she finally returned my call the day before in response to my message marked "urgent". I asked both times if they should visit and she declined. The moving truck showed up the day of the move right on time. However, the crew did not include packers or packing materials. I did not realize I needed to specifically request those services separately. One of the main reasons I hired a moving company was to obtain extra hands in packing. A quick visit or more thorough phone assessment would have prompted this discussion. The crew moved the furniture, appliances, and pre-packed items. The moving men were very gentle with our belongings and had the proper tools and expertise to disconnect/disassemble furniture and appliances as needed. They worked hard and efficiently and moved everything they could reasonably view as packed. They did a good job following my signs regarding furniture that was not to be moved at this time. We were done by 2pm and my appliances and furniture were reassembled and placed properly. I would give the actual moving crew an "A". Communication gaps with the office left me high and dry with a substantial amount of unmoved items, such as my kitchen and office. Thank goodness it was a local move and I had pre-moved my kids' items. Overall, I cannot give them an "A".

We moved in stages, so we used them on 3 different occasions within 1-2 months. Depending on which crew show up, the work and proffessionalizm varied from good to excellent. Overall decent job and we would use them again.

they were AWESOME! They were there right on time. Very polite. Moved all our furniture very quickly and safely. they met us at the destination promptly and unloaded and put things exactly were we wanted them and even offered move peices around for us if we wante them someplace else. We have moved 4 times; used other movers and had some bad experiences but these guys are THE BEST yet, in my opinion. Wouldnt go w/anyone else.
