It went quickly and smoothly. They arrived on time and were very courteous. They were two young men dressed in sweats driving a van. There was no company logo, uniform, or other company identification. They worked well to not damage anything. Pleased with the work.

My biggest problem is that they were SO far off on the estimate! By phone, I believe they told me to figure about an hour per room. The cost was $99/hour for 3 men, plus a $99 travel fee. We decided to have everything packed in advance, and that we would help on the day of - we moved all of the boxes from the basement/back of house out to the driveway to save time. So we had budgeted between $500-700 for the move. Apparently we had way more stuff than most folks?!? (Which I'm surprised by...) Because it took them all day, and they actually called in a second truck and more movers to help. Outside of that, they were very polite and hard-working; they didn't damage anything; and the office was very kind and patient with all of my questions leading up to moving day.

The phone person was polite, but said she was new, seemed confused, and could not answer many of my questions. She would not schedule an estimate, although it was a large complicated move.

They worked really hard and were really nice guys. They were so fast too. I could not believe the amount of stuff one guy could carry. The truck did not fit all of my stuff so I do have to rent a UHAUL this weekend. But, most of that stuff was stuff I had not packed in boxes either. I would use them again if I moved; which I hope I never have to do again.

The three men who helped me move were WONDERFUL. They got everything out of my old place quickly and moved my in to my new place so quickly. They didn't scratch or damage a thing. It was a hot day but they guys still worked just as hard. I would recommend this company to anyone, and in fact just suggested a friend use them. WELL worth the price.

The movers were all very nice, and handled our items well with no damage. The cost turned out to be MUCH higher than expected - more than twice as much! Their initial estimate had been by phone based on the size of our house. Other than that we were happy. We also lost a tricycle pedal in the move; we called the next day, and they found it and mailed it to us.

The movers showed up on time and worked hard. The final price was a bit steep, but that's partly because we didn't anticipate the move taking as long as it did, even with 3 movers (Valley starts charging in 15 minute increments after a certain point). I would use this company again and recommend them to others.

Valley showed up exactly on time, completed the job exactly according to plan, and the movers were very polite and professional. I don't think they could have done anything to make the job any better!

They were very cooperative and efficient, and the move went well.

I think they are one of the better moving companies.

The office staff are exceptionally polite and flexible. Before the move, they followed up with me and reassured me that a difficult move was no problem. The movers were fantastic and polite.

They were great! I had never used a moving company before. It took them 2 3/4 hours to move me. Joy answers the phone and is an absolute pleasure to deal with. I had been getting quotes from other companies but had not spoken with anyone who was pleasant, until Joy. Her great customer service sold me! I moved on a weekday its less expensive, I had 3 men for $99/hour and $99 1time travel fee, though doesn't include travel to the new location. The movers were incredibly polite. I tipped them as they were leaving because after all...you tip your pizza delivery guy why not your movers?

THEY REALLY DIDN'T LIVE UP TO MY EXPECTATIONS. THEY CAME OUT AND DID THE PACKING (CERTAIN ITEMS ONLY) AND DID A GREAT JOB, BUT IT WAS A BIT EXPENSIVE FOR PACKING MINIMAL ITEMS ($400). AFTER COMING OUT TO DO A WALK THROUGH TO SEE HOW MANY ITEMS I HAD AND COMING OUT THE NEXT DAY TO PACK, THEY STILL UNDERESTIMATED THE SIZE OF THE MOVE. THEY BROUGHT TOO SMALL A TRUCK TO MOVE IN ONE LOAD. THEY DEDUCTED THE TRAVEL CHARGES FOR THE SECOND TRIP, BUT IT WAS INEFFICIENT AND TOOK LONGER THAN IT SHOULD. THEY MOVED ALL OF THE ITEMS INTO STORAGE AND DID SOME QUESTIONABLE THINGS (LIKE STANDING A LOVE SEAT ON END, WHICH I THINK IS NOT GOOD FOR THE FURNITURE). THEY COULD HAVE PACKED THE STORAGE UNIT A LOT BETTER. I DECIDED TO USE A DIFFERENT COMPANY TO MOVE FROM STORAGE INTO THE NEW HOUSE.

Very conscientious with items moved. Punctual and friendly. The truck they brought was a little to small for the move, but with me moving the rest, I figured I saved a few bucks.

The movers arrived on time and were very professional and careful with our things. My only issue was that the estimate was significantly lower (about half) than the actual price. I do not believe that this was intentional, but just a case of we had a lot more things to move and it was more difficult to get things into our new house. I would have preferred an estimate that was a little closer to the end price, however. That considered, the movers were professional and worked consistently and hard, to get the job done.

EVERYONE WAS HELPFUL, COURTEOUS, AND CAREFUL. IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE. THE ONE SUGGESTION I WOULD HAVE IS TO GET AN IN-PERSON ESTIMATE. IT IS HARD TO DO OVER THE PHONE. WE WENT WAY BEYOND ESTIMATED TIME AND I FELT BAD FOR THE MOVERS FOR IT WAS THE SATURDAY NIGHT AFTER THANKSGIVING. EVERYTHING DIDN'T FIT IN THE TRUCK AND THEY HAD TO CALL FOR ANOTHER.

EXPERIENCE WAS EXCELLENT, FROM INITIAL CONTACT THROUGH COMPLETION OF JOB. MOVERS WERE PROMPT, COURTEOUS, AND MOST IMPORTANT, VERY CAREFUL.

THEY CAME ONE DAY TO PACK AND THE SECOND DAY TO LOAD THE TRUCKS AND MOVE US. THE PACKING WENT WELL AND SEEMED WELL ORGANIZED. THE OWNER WAS ON-SIGHT FOR THE PACKING. THE MOVING WAS A LITTLE LESS ORGANIZED AND THE OWNER WAS NOT ON-SIGHT FOR THIS. WE ENDED UP WITH 3 TRUCK LOADS (NOT THE BIG MOVING SEMIS BUT STILL LARGE TRUCKS). SEVERAL TABLES/WOODEN ITEMS GOT SCRATCHED IN THE MOVE BUT NO WALLS OR FLOORS WERE DAMAGED. THE MOVERS WENT BACK TO RELOAD THE TRUCK (WE WERE ASSIGNED 2) FOR THE FINAL TRIP AND ONE OF US SHOULD HAVE GONE TOO. MANY THINGS WERE LEFT BEHIND THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MOVED. LUCKILY WE ONLY MOVED 1.5 MILES AWAY AND COULD MOVE IT OURSELVES. THEY TOOK NO LIQUIDS; EVEN IF THEY WERE NEVER OPENED (LIKE 2 LITER BOTTLES, CLEANING FLUIDS, WATER ETC). THE FINAL BILL WAS ALMOST 1000 MORE THAN THE QUOTE, SO I LOWERED THEIR RATING HERE. I GUESS I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN BUT I WOULD SUPERVISE THE MOVING DAY MUCH MORE CLOSELY.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB - FROM SCHEDULING THE MOVE DATE TO LOADING/UNLOADING THEIR TRUCK. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS AND PROMPT. THIS IS MY SECOND TIME USING THEM AND I WILL CONTINUE TO RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS.

VERY GOOD - ON TIME, REASONABLE PRICING.

I WOULD HAVE SPIT NAILS (ABOUT THE REFRIGERATOR), BUT ADAM VERY PATIENTLY ASKED IF WE HAD MEASURED CORRECTLY THEN ADVISED US OF THE PROPER SIZED FRIDGE FOR THE SPACE. THEN HE QUIETLY BUT GENTLY PUT THE MIS-SIZED REFRIG BACK INTO THE GARAGE AND REATTACHED THE FRONT DOOR. (THAT EVE WE WENT BACK TO HOME DEPOT AND PUR. ANOTHER, WHICH FITS, AND WE ARE FORTUNATE TO HAVE A 2ND ON IN THE GARAGE ANYWAY). HE HAD 2 HELPERS WHO WERE OBVIOUSLY MORE EXPERIENCED THAN THE OTHER 2, BUT THEY ALL PITCHED IN AND WORKED WELL TOGETHER. BOXES WERE IN THEIR MARKED ROOMS, BEDS/OTHER LARGE PIECES WERE REASSEMBLED. THERE ARE NO SCRATCHES TO COMPLAIN ABOUT. I MARVELED AT THE EASE WITH WHICH THEY CARRIED OUT A LARGE ARMOIRE FROM OUR BEDROOM, DOWN THE ZIGZAGGED STAIRWELL, AND HOW THEY COORDINATED EACH OTHER'S MOVES TO ACHIEVE SUCH DIFFICULT CHALLENGING CORNERS AND LOW CEILING AT THE FRONT DOOR. ALSO THERE WAS A FULL SIZED SPINET PIANO THAT HAD TO BE BROUGHT AROUND TO THE LOWER LEVEL DOWN A GRASSY INCLINE.

THEY DID EXCELLENT WORK, BUT IT COST ALOT MORE THEN WE EXPECTED.

I WAS PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK. THEY WERE ON TIME AND WORKED QUICKLY TO GET IT ALL MOVED. THE ONLY SUGGESTION I WOULD MAKE TO THEM WOULD BE NOT TO LEAVE ANY OF THE ITEMS THEY ARE MOVING IN THE WAY OF ANY OF THE ELDERLY FOLKS THAT LIVE THERE. BUT OTHER THAN THAT, I WAS VERY HAPPY THAT I HIRED SUCH A GOOD COMPANY, AND WILL HIRE THEM AGAIN FOR FUTURE MOVES.

OFFICE HELP WAS VERY HELPFUL, AND KEPT IN TOUCH WITH ME ON UPDATES FOR THE MOVE. THE TWO MOVERS WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND TOOK CARE WITH MY FURNITURE. PRICE WAS VERY GOOD, ALTHOUGH THEY KEPT HINTING FOR A TIP.

EXCELLENT JOB, VERY COURTEOUS, NEAT, CAREFUL OF ITEMS AND FURNITURE, NO DAMAGE, TIMELY.
