Setting up the move with Joy over the phone was a pleasant experience. She was kind and very helpful. She made me feel comfortable to do business with them. Valley Moving sent over 3 men. All were nice guys. They showed up exactly on time and did the job efficiently. Not a single damaged item (other than the microwave handle - but that was actually my fault). Hopefully we never have to move again, but if we do - I won't hesitate to use Valley Moving and Storage again.

Jim, Mike & Chris were great to work with. I was the 2nd move of the day & it was really hot. They stayed on task, helped me gather and box the left overs and even put shrink wrap on my upholstered furniture because it was going into the garage at my new home to wait for hardwood floors to be ready. I think 4.75 hrs & $617 was a great value and my grown children really appreciate that mom has finally found somebody worth hiring & that I would certainly hire Valley again!

Overall, the service that the moving provided was excellent. They arrived on time and moved quickly when they packed up the truck. We ran into one major problem after they finished packing up the truck. As the crew attempted to leave the parking lot, the hose for the power steering fluid broke and left them unable to drive the truck. This created a delay of about 3 hours. Fortunately, this crew handled the problem efficiently and professionally. While we were waiting, my wife needed to go to our new house to meet with the installation person from DirecTV. The problem was that the DirectTV person needed a TV to test the installation and both of our TVs were buried in the packed broken-down truck. Since we were so delayed because of the broken hose, the crew amazing fished out a TV from the depths of their truck for us. Once we arrived at the new house, the crew moved especially fast to make up for some of the delay that was caused by the broken power steering fluid hose. The broken hose could have felt like a real disaster, but because they handled the situation well I was much less stressed. And, of course, I was not charged for any of the time spent waiting for the truck to be fixed. I would hire them again and recommend them to anyone.

They only drove a little less then five miles to move everything. They showed up on time to pick up everything. They showed up on time to drop off everything.

Three days, four guys and six moving trucks moved our belongings. We only had slight damage due to our own hasty packing.

Four men arrived with two trucks before 8:00 a.m. They were pleasant and courteous and obviously knew what they were doing. They set about doing the work that needed to be done. By 11:30 we were out of the house and on to drop the things off at the three different places. They packed the trucks efficiently and unloaded in the same way. For moving, this was a great experience!

It went very well. They arrived on time. We gave them some simple directions and they got over there and got everything unloaded. They're very courteous. They helped us put our furniture into the new house.

From my first contact with Joy at the office, through my moving day, my entire experience with Valley Moving and Storage was extremely positive. I had four guys and two trucks because, in addition to everything in my two bedroom apartment, I also had stuff in a storage area and a freezer in my sister's garage. It was really cold the day I moved, it had snowed the day before, but these guys came prepared with salt for the sidewalk and brooms for the snow. I had A LOT of stuff, but these guys took it in stride. They were FAST and extremely efficient, not to mention very pleasant to work with. I had a lot of big and heavy furniture, not to mention TONS of boxes, and my condo has three floors. This did not faze these guys! I was amazed at how quickly and carefully they moved so much stuff. There wasn't a single thing that was damaged.

Move went very well. Well trained, hard working men. Had some very heavy pieces that had to go in some very tight spots, and they handled them all very well. Courteous, helpful, and professional. Highly recommend them.

Moving can be a stressful time. So when I first called this company and heard a very pleasant, reassuring and knowledgeable voice, I felt comfortable with my choice. On moving day, Justin, Adam, and Paul arrived promptly at 8am and knew just how to approach the job. They said they had lots of experience with apartments and using elevators as was needed in this case. We had tons of boxes many heavy with books. They formed a team effort and quickly emptied the place. I was worried about my newly poured long concrete driveway at the house, so they parked at the end of it to ease my concern and carried all those boxes a lot further. They were very polite, professional, experienced, and worked quickly.

They did a wonderful job! It was a bit of a complicated move, and from the beginning they were accommodating and helpful. Joy - who manages the bookings - was extremely easy to work with and quite kind and thoughtful. I had to change my moving date just one day prior to when it was originally planned and she was very accommodating to this. The movers were careful with everything and wrapped it well. I haven't yet unpacked everything, but so far it all looks to be in the same condition as it was prior to the move. All in all a very good experience with a very professional and able company.

Movers were very careful not to damage anything. They put down covers to protect the carpet and railings. They were nice enough to reposition the living room several times so we could get just the right layout. Everything was moved at a quick pace with no damage. The movers were polite, friendly, and very hardworking. The salesperson, Joy was extremely nice and provided lots of information prior to the move so it would go smoothly.

They worked really fast. They were pleasant, nice people. Family owned business. They quoted me the same price I was charged. They charged me by the first two hours and additional time was charged in 15 minute increments.

They were very careful with antiques, they were very patient when I asked them move furniture around inside the house.

They did an excellent, professional job. Showed up on time, worked hard and completed the task in the time estimated.

Wonderful, perfect in fact. The guys were very nice, clean and professional. I thought that they did a wonderful job. Our apt. was located on the second floor of a strange building. They did a great job navigating the tight spaces and heavy objects. We plan to use them again when we move our things out of the storage unit and into a home. I also want to mention that we were so happy we tipped each guy $50.

Job was not completed. They were unable to move one piece of furniture into the house, and instead just left it in the garage, partially dissembled. They said that it was too heavy, would require a fourth person, and their manager would contact me later that day. The manager did not call until the following day, and said that he would need to reschedule another work order for sometime next week. He told me that he would charge me as if it were an entirely new job, but this time at an increased rate since it would take four people to finish the job. The manager expected me to pay an additional $132 travel charge, with the same two hour minimum for a total of at least $400 - to move one armoire! I told him that he was not being fair trying to charge me the two hour minimum and travel charge since the job should have already been done. Now I'm stuck with a piece of expensive furniture in my garage, with the moving company I hired to complete the work refusing to be reasonable.

I was satisfied with the experience.

Initially there was some confusion caused by the fact that the ''moving team'' arrived without the ''packers'' having been sent first. This turned out to be little more than a minor inconvenience. The company had the packers at my house the next morning and the remainder of the packing and moving went extremely well and very efficiently. The move included about 80 boxes of books, journals and music, as well as several stacks of very heavy oak barrister bookcases. Two very heavy oak roll top desks and one large office desk. A heavy oak kitchen table, several large paintings and a full workshop. Everything arrived intact and undamaged.

Eric, along with two other men, moved all my furniture, clothing, boxes, everything. They put down a drop cloth so as not to ruin the rug, which impressed me. They were polite, courteous, and efficient. The crew did not waste any time.

The men were on time, careful and courteous. They showed a ''can do'' and glad to help spirit throughout. Nothing was damaged in the move, and they finished in less time than expected. Overall, an exceptional group of guys. I will happily use them whenever the need arises.

They were polite, helpful, and fast. Their price came in $20 less than the estimate. They were honest about what they could and couldn't do.

They were good. Packing and marking boxes was not the best in some cases, resulting in boxes being placed in wrong rooms, but there was no significant breakage. They should take more care in packing, marking, and placing boxes at a destination.

This company was very easy to work with. They did everything they said they would and everything we asked. They were right on time and definitely know what they are doing. Tom & Jim (the 2 movers) did a super job packing and protecting our precious cargo. Everything was moved into our new home in a timely manner with no problems and at a very fair price. We would definitely use these folks again and would recommend them to anyone.

5 man team, they were prompt and had a good attitude. All the guys were easy to work with, and most would ask for directions, as they took items off the truck. They didn't use hand trucks, which I found odd. Not sure if that would have made the process quicker or not, as a lot had to go to different rooms. We were overcharged at the final check out, I had negotiated the rate, but my husband paid while I started unpacking. I had planned on calling the following Monday to resolve the discrepancy, but before I could do that, they called and told me of the error. I received a check for the difference, within 2 days.
