Description of Work: I had a few things to transfer to a new office .Dustin and Jason introduced themselves, went overwhat needed to get done and answered additional questions I had about moving a large printer. They explained ( in detail) how they tied everything down to protect the load. This family run company is the only one I'll go to for all my moving needs!

Description of Work: The team was punctual. They were very polite. They advised me on connective equipment I needed to hook up my W/D and hooked up the appliances. I also had an antique piece of furniture that had an ornamental piece coming off before the move - the team lead offered to fix it for me after my move. He told me what supplies I needed for the repair and he was quick to get the repair done. My move involved moving very heavy furniture from one house to another - with most of the furniture going to upper levels in the new house. The team worked very hard with very few brief breaks. (Any break they may have taken was very much deserved) They never grumbled and were very open to my switching furniture pieces around in the move. I would definitely recommend them to anyone moving. Their prices were very reasonable when compared to other moving companies. The only negative is their fuel//travel charge was a little higher than the other companies. You don't have to worry about damages to your furniture - they take great care in the packing/loading and moving of your belongings. They did a great job and made the move easy.

Description of Work: Valley Moving was hired to move a number of heavy items from one house to another. The crews were always concious of the way the invoice for their services would be totaled and spoke with me a couple of times to make sure I was in agreement with the approach they were taking to complete the move. They moved everything they were requested to move and were always very pleasant. It was a joy to have them do the work. The invoice total was correct down to the discount given for being an Angie's List member.

Description of Work: Valley has moved us twice here in Cincinnati, 1993 and 2006. They have also come to transport some large pieces to Goodwill and have come for a 1/2 day to move large pieces around in our house in 2009. They are great to work with, starting with the scheduler who is always nice and cooperative. The movers have been very accomodating and friendly and careful every time they have come. They pack well for the short moves we have made. I have always been very happy with their attitude and helpfulness at all stages of the moves.

Description of Work: Local move. Took a little longer than thought. By the end they were tired and I think that made it take longer. They a knob off a dresser, but went and found a new one.

Description of Work: Gave us great tips regarding how to pack up our house for an out-of-state move. Arrived on time and spent 3 to 4 hours loading our rental truck. Extremely professional, clean, hard working crew.

Description of Work: Valley Moving and Storage Company brought some pieces of furniture that we bought to our home. They also moved some existing furniture from an upstairs room down to the basement so the new pieces could go in.

Description of Work: I CHOSE THIS COMPANY TO MOVE MY BELONGINGS FROM MT. LOOKOUT TO MASON. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AND THE WORKERS WERE GREAT, HOWEVER, THE END PRICE WAS OVER $800 HIGHER THAN THE ESTIMATE! AT THE END OF A LONG MOVING DAY, I SIGNED THE BILL WITHOUT CHALLENGING IT (STUPID ON MY PART, I KNOW!) WHEN I CONTACTED THE COMPANY AFTER THE FACT TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE, I WAS TOLD REPEATEDLY THAT THEY WOULD CHECK INTO IT AND GET BACK TO ME. IT HAS BEEN 2 MONTHS AND NOBODY HAS EVER RESOLVED THE ISSUE. I EVEN MENTIONED THAT I WAS ABOUT TO SUBMIT MY REPORT TO ANGIE'S LIST AND WISHED TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE PRIOR TO SUBMITTING. THEY DID NOT SEEM TO TAKE ANY EXTRA CARE IN MY SITUATION. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN ALL A'S IN ALL AREAS PRIOR TO THE LAST FEW INTERACTIONS.
