replacement windows
+ -1 moreGot a quote for 10 windows on August 1. Made one small change and told them I would like to go ahead and order. Received an email the same day with the subject "Order Acknowledgement". There was no text in their email, just a copy of their quote. So I wrote them back and asked what the delivery date would be - no response. So the next day I called, "I sent an email that I wanted to order, when should I expect delivery?", without asking who I was they said 1 week. Weird, but I figured they must know from my number. Waited a week, "Hey, my windows ready?". "Oh, we don't have an order from you. You didn't pay for a deposit." "***?!!!! I told you I wanted to order and there was NEVER any mention of a deposit!!!" I would have happily paid a deposit if they had brought it up. Now I am a week behind!!😠😠😠😠

Description of Work: They replaced 7 windows. Four were standard double hung; the others were picture windows or large sliders. Harry did the measuring and installation. He showed up when he said he would and he did a great job, plus he cleaned up after himself. A great experience.

+ 0 moreDescribed my house to Chris and what I was looking to do with my windows. Gave me basic estiamte on costs and had an installer he reccomended quote the installation. After meeting with the installer, gave Chris the accurate measurements. From the time I ordered the windows to the time they were ready to be installed was about a week. Windows are great quality.
Description of Work: Bought 22 windows and 1 door through Chris at Tri-State. Gave me great service and worked with me to find the most economical window that still met the Government Tax credit qualifications. Referred me to window installer that was quick, responsive, and professional. Windows look great and my monthly heating bill dropped by $49. Would reccommend Tri-State for any building product needs, they are very knowledgeable and treat the customer like they matter, much different than the big box stores.
