TriCity Elite saves the day again! I can?t say enough great things about this company and Tina/Daniel. They are always quick, courteous, knowledgeable, affordable, and most of all the friendliest people. I highly recommend this company to anyone in need of heating/air conditioner service. paid another company $94 to check out the issue, quoted me around $800 to replace the fan motor (a 'discounted' cost if I also bought a maintenance contract for another $200), and recommended replacing other parts that added up to $1100. but they actually recommended replacing the unit at a 'discounted' cost of $6100, but only if I had the work done the next day, Friday, or the following Monday, said they were trying to 'fill up their schedule". Felt like I was making a deal on a used car. Had Tri-City recommended by others in my condo unit, and another friend who's son in law used to work with Tri-State. quoted a new system at around $4500 over the phone based on the estimate from the other co. No charge for an estimate or to come look at the problem. After looking at it, the tech said there was no need to replace the unit at this point . They service other units in my conco complex, and know the units. Got the part and installed for around $400, another $100 for the pound of freon. Said if anything else went wrong and I ended up needing a new unit, they'd refund part of my repair. Can't be much fairer than that.

I called them on a Sunday morning when my furnace wouldn't work on a cold day. They came out and found the problem was the timing control panel, a part that would need to be gotten the next day. He some how got the furnace to work anyway and it continued until the next afternoon. As soon as they got the part on Monday they came back and quickly installed it, showing me the burned out part they removed. They only charged me for one service visit at a very reasonable price. I have found my new heating and air company!

This is a great company! We have used them several time before and they always provide excellent service. Most recently used them to service a furnace and air conditioner in a newly purcahsed home. They were out within an hour of the call on a SATURDAY. They replaced the thermostat, programmed the the new thermostat and serviced the furnace and air conditioner for $300. I would highly recommend!!
