I was impressed as this was the only company who returned my call the same day as my request for an estimate, and I believe I had an estimate from them the the next day? (Some companies never returned my call; one sent me an estimate several weeks later after promising one in a few days; one company said the job was too dangerous.) Job was scheduled in a reasonable wait time, and they arrived early the day of the job. Considering the machinery used and the enormity of task, I was surprised how efficiently and quietly they cut down the tree, and so were my neighbors. They cut down the tree leaving the stump (saving me money as they recommended), removed all of the wood, and cleaned up the ground site in a surprisingly short time. One disappointment was in the fact that broken branches remained on my roof afterwards; I don't know if that is usual procedure or not, but the last company I used did blow off the debris from the roof, as well. Also, my lawn took almost a month to recover from this ordeal due to holes left in lawn where tree branches fell and forklift gouged. (They did put down some grass seed in some of the severe spots, but that did not take care of most of the damage.) Likewise, my bushes (over which the cherry picker had to be driven) have never really recovered. This is why I would give the company a "B+" rating for quality, HOWEVER, I must explain that my yard and tree's circumstances contributed to these issues. First, the tree was dead, and indeed, dangerous, so workers could not climb it the usual way. Second, my neighbor's freshly blacktopped driveway could not be used by the cherrypicker, so it had to be parked over my bushes to get close enough to the tree (due to my severely sloping lawn), and I was asked before hand, "How much do you care about these bushes?" ;-) I really saw no alternative so I agreed to this method. Bottom line, would I use this company again? Yes. I thought their pricing was very fair under the circumstances, and if I had taken care of the tree earlier or had normal access to the tree, this would have been a routine job done professionally.

Update: After posting the below over the weekend, George saw it, and called me this morning. He apologized profusely for overlooking me. He said they would come out tomorrow morning to do the job. Instead, the crew came this afternoon. They did their normally good job, and cleaned-up the yard very well also. I should have called them when they first became overdue. They are now back on my list of good businesses, and I will certainly use them again when next I need tree services. I have used Tree Images in the past, and gave them an overall grade of A in a review posted in July, 2011. I contacted them again in June of this year. I'm not sure if I spoke to George or Shane. I told him what I wanted, and I think it was George who came out, looked at the tree, and left an estimate in my mailbox. The price he quoted for removing the dead branches from the ash tree was $395. I called to give them my acceptance, and was told it would be a while before they could get to it. I remember being told it would be from 4 to 6 weeks, which meant the work would still be done before a wedding shower my wife was hosting on August 10, 2013. Unfortunately, no one ever came to do the work, nor called to tell me why. That was very disappointing, especially as they had done good work for me before. So now, I have contacted another company to do the job.

I would recommend them. They did good work. They cleaned up completely. When they were finished I didn't even know they were here because of how well they cleaned up.

We got at least three bids for some tree work, and Tree Images was the best bid. Sometimes, that can mean that quality or service is somewhat compromised, but we were delighted to discover that that was not the case. The crew was prompt, fast, and efficient. The quality of their work was thorough and expert. They looked out for our property and were careful about other plantings and the structures (garage, house, etc.). They did a great job grinding the stump--we have unpleasant memories of other companies who chopped trees down but left the stump and root structures to rot in our yard--and did an impeccable clean up job. We could not be more pleased with the service. Thank you!

Estimate was within range of other estimates after the Angie's List discount of 10%. Decided to go with another provider based on recommendation from neighbor for about the same cost.

They were great. They were really professional and friendly. They were really well equipped too. Those guys worked hard that tree was about 4 feet in diameter at bottom. I wanted to make a special mention of one of the guys, Troy. He climbed the tree and really did a fine job.

I had three large ash trees in my backyard that had died. They came right out to give me a bid, although it took about 6 weeks once I was on their job list. They did show up exactly at the date and time they confirmed later. They did a great job with the work. One of the trees was very close to the house and it required taking down piece by piece from their bucket truck. Anthony was the leader on site and was excellent. They did a good job protecting my lawn and did a good clean up. I thought the price was reasonable.

Very difficult job to take down such big trees between houses. They were great. Great job. great clean up and very friendly.

Their bid was pretty comparable, and I am deciding which one to go with. They were very good. They came out and told us what we need to get done. So far the experience with just getting the bid has been great.

From the inital phone contact Tree Images was very responsive and timely. They came out to do the estimate when they said they would and scheduled the service within a week following the estimate. The men arrived on time, did a thorough job and completely cleaned up after they were finished. Most importantly the trees look great!! Also, the final price matched the estimated quote exactly. I will definitely be using them again in the future as I am extremely satisfied with the service provided.

They told us they would be out next day to give us a quote but were there within hour of calling them. They were lowest of 3 bids. They scheduled the job the day after we called them Crew was professional, cleaned up yard very well and stacked wood. This is second time we have used them and they do a great job for a decent price.

Great, they arrived on time, got to work, cleaned up, asked if I wanted the wood and placed it where it could be retrieved for turning into firewood. I will definately call them again and will definately refer them.

Tree Images was the low bid of 4 companies. Bid ranged as high as $3400. They responded quickly to a request for an estimate. We went on the "list" once we decided to hire them. They called about a week in advance of doing the work. The tree was very tall and they used a bucket truck. They did a good job. They cleaned up well after getting the tree down and replanted the bushes they had to remove for the take down.

Did not accept coupon from Angie's List.

I could not be any happier with the services provided to me from start to finish. He came out and gave me a quote and I told him it would be a few months before the work was done. When I contacted him months later he said he was backed up and would get to me at the end of the month. I was afraid he would forget about me, but as stated he completed the work. He allowed me to pay after the work was done which was very trusting on his part but comforted me that I would get what i paid for. I have been done wrong in the past by paying ahead of time, but Shane and Tree Images completed the work at a very fast rate and allowed me to pay when the work was complete. I will use them and refer them to others in the future.

We received three estimates for this job. One was $1000 above the estimate that we received from Shane (of Tree Images). We chose Tree Images to do the job based on the cost, but also on Shane. We liked his business manner. He is very professional, prompt, and helpful. He is always on time. The crew arrived as expected, completed the job and left our yard in perfect condition. We also used this company to remove a limb last winter that was still attached to a tree but also resting on our roof, to remove a fallen tree after the storm on June 29, and to remove part of a tree still attached but falling into other trees. Each time, the estimate was the very next day and the following service was prompt and professional. If I could give a higher score for price, quality, responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism, I would! This is an incredible company! I highly recommend them.

The crew arrived on time, were very professional and courteous. They quickly began the job. The yard was cleaned up nicely. There was no damage to the yard from the machine. The did an excellent job and I would recommend them for any service involving trees. Great service and a pleasure to do business with.

I called Tree Images and the next morning they called me back. By the end of the day we had a quote for the job. Out of the three places I called they were the lowest bid. They came out a week after I called and took down this large tree leaning near our house. VERY professional and very fast. I think it took them less than 2 hours. They left some choice pieces and cut them up for our fire pit. I highly recommend them!!!!!! Thank you.

We needed to have the tree removed in a short period of time since we contracted to have another tree planted in its place. We were running out of time to meet the end of the planting season. They worked with us to meet our needs. They arrived on time with a team of people and equipment. Within two hours they were finished with minimal yard damage (just the indentations from falling limbs) and absolutely no damage to the structures or wiring they had to work over and around. They ground the stump out and removed and cleaned up the area better than when they first arrived. Great people - friendly and professional. Their estimate was reasonable and better than other estimates we received. They are bonded and fully insured which is a plus. I have contracted other tree removal companies before and Tree Images is definitely the most reasonable for the amount of work they did. They are definitely the easiest tree removal company that I have worked with. They will be the first I call when I need further tree trimming or removal.

They were absolutely on time. They cleaned everything up perfectly and it was just exceptional. Everything was just in perfect order. The man that came out to give an estimate, he was right on time. The crew that came to do the work were right on time and did it efficiently.

Tree Images returned my call within 24 hours and gave me a quote within 48 hours. Their price was one of the lowest of the 4-5 quotes I received. Some of the other companies I spoke with couldn't schedule the work for another month because of being backed up by the weather. I explained to Tree Images that I needed the tree to come down within the next two weeks because I was laying sod in about 2 weeks and didn't want to have heavy machines on the sod after it was installed. Tree Images said they could come out the next week and get it done. I was actually out of town when the work happened, but my neighbors all reported no problems and my electrician was working on my house the whole time and said they did a great job. Overall, I felt good about the price, I thought they did quality work, and I loved that they were able to work around my tight schedule. Someone from Tree Images, either George or Shane, came out quickly after my initial call for an estimate. Their bid was among the lower of the 4 I received. However, due to schedule conflicts, and mostly the rain, it took a while for them to actually do the work. That was fine with me, because I was in no hurry, and I didn't want a lot of damage to my yard because of soft ground. One of the ash trees was huge, and in a tight spot between our house, landscaping, and our neighbor's house. The 4-man crew worked quickly, but carefully. The fellow in the tree did a very good job of roping off the branches before cutting them, so that they could be lowered to the ground. As far as I know, only the tips of one branch scraped the edge of our roof on it's way to the ground, and as far as I can tell, it did no damage. I asked the tree climber about it, and he told me there was no damage. The only other casualty, according to my wife, was a small red bud tree branch. This is pretty amazing considering the space in which they had to work. The stumps were ground, as well as some exposed roots. They did a good job in cleaning up the debris too, and all were pleasant to us. I'd certainly use Tree Images again.
