Description of Work: We attempted to get an estimate for a paver walkway. Hugh came and said he would follow up with an bid. We followed up via email but after 2 - 3 months and several promises we never received an estimate. We initially called them as they did a great job at our neighbors and we had them spread mulch a few years ago. Their work was not an issue but their lack of follow up is. We understood it was busy time in early spring and we were happy to wait but it became evident they weren't going to follow up with us. We found another company who did a great job.

+ -1 moreI've had a relationship with Hugh Tinker for three years when I ran an HOA. He has done everything from install new trees, cut back brush, lawn maintenance and mulching, sprinkler system installation and maintenance for six years now. Hugh always supplied quotes in advance detailing the job and values making sure you are happy. Cheaper services are available but that doesn't mean you will find a better value.
Description of Work: Our HOA uses Tinkerturf for lawn, sprinkler system and other landscape services.

Description of Work: I switched from a large national company to local Tinker Turf for our lawn care (mowing, trimming and edging) this year. I've been very happy. Their price is lower and their work is excellent. Their operations manager Tony is professional and easy to work with. Their price is $40 per week for our half acre yard. Less than we paid the last several years with the previous company.

Description of Work: We have been longstanding customers of Tinkerturf . Over 8 years ago they put in our sprinkler system and overall was happy with service. All changed this May, when reporting a leak in our yard in two of the lines. They promised they would get out and did not show up repeatedly. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but after calling several times and waiting a very long time (over 3 weeks) they still did not show. Very disappointed with what used to be a very service oriented company. I have moved my business elsewhere.

+ -1 moreExtremely pleased with the results; however, the company has a lot of problems honoring their time commitments. They were scheduled to start project on a specific date but didn't show or call. Did not start until we demanded the return of our deposit. After completion of the initial project, company was supposed to submit a schedule and contract for ongoing maintenance by the following week. They did not. When we called to remind them, they set an appointment to come out and start maintenance. That was three weeks ago and again they are a no-call no-show.
Description of Work: Installed front landscape, creating new beds, using proper soil maintenance for plant maturity and bed elevation. Finished with mulch and installed fieldstone wall. Mulched designated sections of backyard and seeded other sections with shade grass. Elevated and seeded side yards.
