Mr. Hockney was consulted firstly to remove vinyl flooring, and to install either carpeting, hardwood, or tile-all of which he can expertly install. We decided to have the hardwood put in, and to have Mr. Hockney remodel our kitchen with the needed carpentry/building projects. We also consulted with him to return to complete the living room and lower level projects in the near future. I have asked him to contact us as soon as possible, as his schedule fills up quickly, resultant from his outstanding excellence in effort, attitude, and performance.
Description of Work: Mr. Hockney designed and implemented a green transformation of our ranch condo to alleviate my severe allergic responses to chemicals used in building materials. We contracted him to remove vinyl flooring in the family room, kitchen, and laundry room. He then installed hardwood flooring over these areas. In addition, Mr. Hockney remodeled our kitchen, installing new custom cabinets and molding. He remodeled the condo from the floors up, doing everything but the painting. He will be returning to complete the living room flooring and lower level updating at a later date, as he is in high demand and his schedule has been extremely tight. Hopefully, we can arrange for Tim to again fit us in his project listings.

The members are wonderful people. We enjoyed working in there home and especially for them. We are grateful for the work that they had us do and very happy that it made a difference in her allergic reactions. Working for them was our pleasure and their enthusiasm for the finished project was paycheck in itself.

There was no responsiveness to our repeated phone messages that were left to perform floor repair in our kitchen. Very disappointing.
Description of Work: We placed three messages with him and he never returned our calls. We wanted to have some flooring in our kitchen repaired.

We are very sorry that we were unable to provide the service for the members. We did have problems communicating. I feel that I do hold much of the fault for that. Initially they had contacted me on the weekend while I was with family and I lost the contact information. They then called back and we set up a time for me to check out there job. They had a repair to a small damaged area that they wanted fixed. I told her that I would try and find a wood close to what she had and get samples to her. This was all near Thanksgiving and our schedule was insanely busy and it had us working double and triple shifts because the holidays are always deadlines in our business. She contacted me again via voice mail. I then called her and did the same. Next thing we know, we get a bad report. We are very sorry for how this turned out. We did respond to all messages. We also would like it to be known that there was no work contracted in this case.

Thanks for the report. We know and appreciate the time taken to do that. The members are very busy with their two retail Men's and Women's clothing and tailor stores. Not to mention the new baby that she was carrying while we did the project. We are proud to be able to drive through Madeira and say we did the flooring in Kennedy's\Romualdo's. If you've never been there, you have to check them out!

We very much enjoy the people that we meet in our business and the member is another great example of why the work is not our only blessing.
