This does horrible work and when you complain they don’t make things right. The owner is a bully and very unprofessional. I would Not recommend this company to anyone. The work looks like amateur landscaping .

We've used The Turf Tailor for our weekly mowing and lawn maintenance for almost two decades. In January we hired them to build a fire pit for us. As soon as they had a day warm enough to do the work, their crew got to work. Due to their early start, we had our fire pit and up running in early March. We LOVE it! They were very consultative about every detail. The wall is the perfect high for comfortable seating. The fire pit even has a grill on it so we can cook over the open fire. The fire pit has been such an important part of allowing us to safely socialize outsize at a safe distance from friends during COVID. If you've ever thought about making upgrades to your outdoor living area, I'd encourage you not to delay and to use The Turf Tailor. The attached photo was taken in early March before all the foliage bloomed, it's green and gorgeous now.

While performing services for my neighbor, this company drug a utility trailer through my yard and parked it there without my permission overnight. It had rained quite a bit that week and the pickup truck they used to haul the trailer destroyed my lawn with two ruts 3-5 inches deep and about 30 feet long. They also parked the trailer on top of my split rail fence. Yep, rolled right through my fence and left it there, all night. I have pictures if there is any dispute of the facts.. I confronted Dustin when he arrived the next day to finish the job. He assured me they would repair my lawn by sodding the damaged areas. He also agreed to repair the fence and was very apologetic in person - we even shook hands, which is good enough for me. However, the next day when I came home from work, I found that Dustin had repaired the lawn with dead sod. The fence was not repaired - although someone made an effort to stand up the post and try to screw things back together. However the pieces and parts were damaged beyond that point and truly needed replacing. When I tried to operate the fence gate it literally fell to pieces in my hand on the first attempt. I called Dustin and confronted him over the phone. He stated that the sod dying was my fault because I wasn't watering it 3 times a day (this after only one day). I explain to him that watering was never mentioned by him and it was clearly his responsibility, unless he wanted to pay me to do it. He also declined to repair the fence and told me to sue him. So, I hope Angie will post this even though I was not the original customer - the community needs to be aware of what this vendor will do to your neighbor if you hire them, and then leave you hanging. At this point I have little choice but to require my neighbor to repair things at his expense if I want to recover my losses.
