The Proficient Assistant

Jen and April are great to work with. They will do whatever we need them to do, will make recommendations, but are happy to do what we want if it's different. They will go to the store for us, or with us, or prepare a detailed list for us to take. They know the IKEA products and are good at assembling them. This project included an entertainment system in the TV room and a wall of 5 floor-to-ceiling bookcases in the guest room. Our one cabinet needed to be hung on the wall and they didn't feel competent to do it, so they offered to bring in a handyman to offer a bid. We had a handyman already, so they were glad to work with him. It took 2 visits to get everything done and they stayed over the second day to assemble a file cabinet I had purchased.

I showed them the basement and they quickly went to work as if they had done the very same thing before and were comfortable with the project. The only suggestion I would make is to leave the odds and ends they thought were trash to be gone through by the owner. I recycle as much as possible so I pulled out the recyclables from the garbage bags after the job was done. Overall I was very pleased.
