Description of Work: I had a faucet in my upstairs bathroom that would only run cold water.

Description of Work: I used him about a year ago. What they did for me was looked at my sewer line and they were going to come back to me with an estimate for them repair. I paid them $700 already and they refused to perform the service. I have called the office over and over, but I never got the work done.

Description of Work: I was given a quote to install a garbage disposal for $275 but when he finished, he gave me a bill for $680.

They are professional in every sense of the word and have, always, felt extremely confident with the work they have performed at our home. We highly recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: We had a been battling a problem with tree roots growing into and damaging our sewer line for approximately 2 years. Finally realizing we had to find a permanent solution, we got estimates from 4 companies. We settled on Niesen and are happy with our choice. Ben was very professional in assessing our problem and gave us two alternate solutions. Their price was similar to other estimates. However, they compacted the soil as they replaced it after the work, which meant NO LARGE HUMP of soil in our front yard for months upon completion! Added bonus in our book! | |Their staff was great to work with during the three days they were here. They dug up and removed a section of pipe that had been damaged by tree roots. Then used a camera to confirm the remaining pipe sections were in good shape. A sleeve was inserted and coated the remaining pipe to avoid future root invasion. | |We were looking for a longterm solution. We plan to live here for another 25-30 years, and are confident the work done will get us through without further sewer issues.

Description of Work: Came out on 7/22/14 to give an estimate on electrical/plumbing work at my home.

Description of Work: We called them in to unclog a drain from our kitchen, When they pulled back the cable, they broke the drain arm at the t-fitting on the stack.

Description of Work: INSTALLED OVERFLOW VALVE ON HOT WATER BOILER, AND INSTALLED UNVENTED FIREPLACE.

Description of Work: OUR OLDER HOUSE NEEDED TO HAVE A NEW WATER LINE INSTALLED FROM THE STREET TO THE HOUSE. THE PREVIOUS WATER LINE WAS ABOUT 80 YEARS OLD, AND IN DANGER OF BREAKING AND FLOODING THE BASEMENT. NIESEN PLUMBING CAME OUT AND RAN A NEW LINE INTO THE HOUSE. THE WORK INVOLVED BORING HOLES IN THE BASEMENT AND UNDER THE FRONT PORCH WALLS TO RUN THE LINE THROUGH, RUNNING THE LINE, HOOKING UP TO THE WATER SHUT OFF VALVE AT THE STREET, AND GETTING A NEW METER. OLD TREE ROOTS PREVENTED THEM FROM DOING THE BORING UNDERGROUND, AND THEY HAD TO DIG UP PART OF THE YARD TO INSTALL THE LINE. THEY VERY CAREFULLY WORKED AROUND A NEW TREE THAT WE HAD PLANTED, AND THEN PROFESSIONALLY REFILLED THE HOLES, LEVELED THINGS OUT, PLANTED GRASS SEED, AND COVERED WITH STRAW.
