 + -1 moreAs my furnace and air ducts are not like most homes, they were somewhat hampered to do a total and complete job. They did however get the most of the dirt that was trapped in the ductwork out. They had to go through the duct work and air vents. My home is a modular and has the duct work is under the house and is not accessible through the furnace, like most homes. I am pleased with the end result, as there seems to be so much less dust in the air.

 + -1 moreI asked them about the cold air returns and they just vacuumed the base of it out, which was on the floor. They did this in just on one of them. They said they were not working so they did not clean the other 2 cold air returns that were upstairs. This company did not tell me what the main problem was. They were very nice though and 2 cleaners came out for this Big Deal. I just wished they would have cleaned the cold air returns regardless.

 + -1 moreHe was very nice, polite, seemed efficient. He was very careful with the family room rug as it is on hardwood floor. Put leg protectors on chairs, sofas, tables as the carpeting is damp. Should dry in 6 to 8 hours...probably 6. He was punctual. He called when he was 10 to 15 minutes away. He was here working for about an hour. Everything was done in the time frame I was given when I made the original appointment. I had to change the original appointment to a week later and the phone person took care of the change with no problem. I was pleased with the cleaning that was done and the price. I would recommend them and will use them again.
Description of Work: Cleaned carpet in 5 rooms for $89. living room (double size), dining room, stairs, hallway. Cleaned a 6 x 9 area rug in the family room ($54.00). Plus $12.99 Enviornmental Fee (handling of waste water.

 + -1 moreWe had purchased a big deal for the service, and it worked out well. There was an additional cost, because I have more vents. My furnace is in a crawl space, and it is attached to first floor, and they didn't know how to figure that out, and get the machine out, but once they got to it, they did a good job. The price was good, although I paid additional, it was far less than what I was quoted by my HVAC company. It took them a while to do it.

 + -1 moreJoe Jarrells: First I would like to apologize for any inconvenience that you have gone through since you had Teasdale Fenton clean your sofa. I have fully explained all details pertaining to this issue with Jim Olmstead (Owner) of Teasdale Fenton. After I had a soft goods restoration company clean the cushion covers the sofa looked a great deal better, the coffee stain was still there also. You still have the ability to put the cushions on the sofa as not to see any stains. Option 1: Teasdale Fenton will pay you an appearance adjustment of 30% the cost of sofa ($269.70) and refund the cleaning $125 .00, total refund of 394.70. Remember there is still a coffee stain in question. Option 2: Teasdale Fenton will pay you for the sofa after the cost of the appearance adjustment has been subtracted from total cost of said sofa, 899.00- (30%) 269.70= 629 .30. After payment Teasdale Fenton will take possession of sofa. Please remember that this is a nature fiber sofa that Teasdale Fenton was hired to remove a coffee stain from. This sofa was stained from the beginning.
Description of Work: I hired Teasdale Fenton to come on Oct 8, 2013 and remove a coffee stain on my new sofa. They came to the house on time and got to work but they were unable to remove the coffee stain. I notice after they were done that the couch looked bad, like a much older sofa. The cushions were placed on the bed of the sofa to dry. The next day I discovered that the seat and back cushions had stains on them that were not there before the cleaning. Turns out the fabric that makes up the bed of the sofa has an ink in it which leached onto the cushions. I called Teasdale Fenton and they agreed to come back out and try and remove the stains, but were unable to do so. I called Teasdale Fenton again and talked to Joe Jarrells Operations Manager. Joe came out to see the problem and asked if he could take the cushions to a specialty dry cleaner which I agreed too. When he returned with the cushions the stains were still apparent but now the cushions were discolored and no longer matched the sofa and in addition the cushions now had shrinkage issues. I sent Mr. Jarrells the original invoice for sofa and they sent me a reply on October 25, 2013 giving me the following two options. 1. Paid me 30% of the cost of the sofa plus a refund of the cleaning in the amount of $125.00 total $394.70. 2. Or they will pay for the sofa after the cost of the adjustment which comes to $629.30 plus take possession of the sofa. On October 28 I sent Joe an email stating that neither option was acceptable and that I wanted to be reimbursed for the full amount of the sofa and the cleaning charge. They replied that they did not consider the sofa as new because of the coffee stains thus a full refund was out of the question. I sent Joe a counteroffer I would accept the fact that the sofa had a coffee stain and thus reduced the value of the sofa in exchange they would refund the cost of the sofa $899.00 - 20% (coffee stain) + $125.00. I received a call from Jim Olmstead a few days later saying that they accepted my offer and from there we setup a time for them to come over to my house to deliver the check and pick up the sofa. They showed up on time I received the check and they remove the sofa.

 + -1 moreProvider arrived on time and explained what they needed to do. Provider was worried at the beginning about my Angie's list coupon and wanted to see it before getting started. Provider was anxious to sell new services. The new service started at 75 dollars but somehow managed to come down to 40 before the end of the visit. I would have liked to see the dirt they were "blowing" out and what it looked like. I didn't get the impression that the lines were dirty and I would have liked to see exactly what was being cleaned. They did a decent job cleaning up after themselves although the one employee did have mud on his shoes.

 + -1 moreWe purchased the Angie's Big Deal for an air duct cleaning and were able to get on the schedule for service quickly. Our tech, Josh, called ahead, showed up on time and did a great job. We've only lived in our home for six years, but it's about 95 years old and we weren't sure when or if the ducts had been cleaned previously. Apparently they had never been cleaned and the job ended up being pretty difficult. Josh still did the work quickly and efficiently. We can tell a big difference in the quality of air flow through the house. While I have nothing but good things to say about Josh and the duct cleaning service, I was a little irritated with the scheduling process. After purchasing the duct cleaning service on Angie's List, I called to make the appointment and told the representative, Debbie, that I was also interested in scheduling area rug and upholstery cleaning. It probably would have been an additional $300-$400 in services. She interrupted me to say that those services couldn't all be scheduled together and asked if she could just schedule the air duct cleaning while she had the screen up. She did so and got us on the schedule quickly, then started to end the call. I asked again about scheduling area rug and upholstery services, and she gave me the option of having the area rugs picked up between 8 and noon or noon and 4 the following week. I started to say that we wouldn't be home during those hours and she cut me off again to say that those were the only times they scheduled area rug pickups. At that point I lost my patience and said don't worry about the other services. It sounded like I called at a busy time and it would have taken a lot of work for her to schedule all three services separately and at times that worked for us. I thought it would be easier to schedule all the services we wanted through Teasdale Fenton, but I ended up calling Widmer's for the rugs and upholstery.

 + -1 moreThey cleaned 9 wall in-vents and 6 out-vents very quick. I mean in 30 minutes including setting up and wrapping up, not 2-3 hrs that they told me. Try to charge me dumping fee: $12.99 and trunk cleaning fee: $75, which are included in coupon. I CAUGHT THEM and they have to waive them. But I paid tax, not sure it is tax included or not. I didn't pay any tax for last 2 BIG DEAL purchase. Should confirm with Angieslist. I don't think they did a good job. A guy simply blew the vent for about 10-15 second each. MESS up dust on our bed, table and clothes without notifying me. NEVER DO THIS AGAIN, BIG DEAL IS NOT A DEAL at all. I DID buy this kind of deals for 4 times. None of them is good. I don't trust Angieslist any more. Too much commercial on TV.

 + 1 moreJosh and Ryan of Teasdale Fenton, called to tell me they were on their way. They arrived on time and walked thru the house to see how many vents we had and where they werre. They explaned what they would do, how long it should take and the cost of the additional vents. I asked about dryer vent and they confirmed they could handle and provided cost. They were very professional and showed care moving throughout my home. I would definately use Teasdale Fenton again.....which I am. I have made an appointment for 5 rooms of carpet cleaning for $99.00,, which Ryan and Josh told me about.

They were very courteous ( I live in a townhome community and they were concerned about parking in front of my home and blocking the neighbor's coming and goings) I assured them there would not be a problem.  + 0 moreThe staff scheduled the service the following business day when called. They had a prior job that ran a little long, and called immediately to see if the service needed to be rescheduled. I didn't mind waiting an extra hour, and they were still close to the initial time. The crew was polite, professional, and courteous. They explained exactly what the job would entail. As I work from home, they were accommodating when running the vacuum to ensure the noise did not interrupt my work. Our family has two cats, and the crew was mindful of that while working, and ensured that all doors leading outside were kept open at a minimum. After the job was finished, they did an excellent job in cleaning up. Overall, I was very pleased with the service, highly recommend them, and will call them again.

 + -1 moreHe arrived right on time. There was a mixup over the disposal fee, which I had paid over the phone when I scheduled the appointment. My mother in law was at the house while he worked and said he was very professional and thorough. Our house was a foreclosure purchase, so I wanted the carpets professionally done to remove the stained areas and make it look like new. You would have never known the carpet was as dirty as it was! They did a great job!

They did not try to sell me anything and said that if I really wanted the service that they would do it but did not think that I would see any great benefits since it wasn't really necessary at this time. I did not expect that kind of professionalism and honesty and I really appreciated and would gladly use them again in the future. Thank you so much to Marcus and his co-worker.
Description of Work: I had scheduled for them to come out and clean the air ducts but when they checked out the system, they said that everything actually looked pretty clean and that they thought that I wouldn't see any benefits from the service. They said that if I really wanted them to clean it, they would, but they did not see a real need. I was amazed by their honesty and really appreciated it.

 + -1 moreIt was not well at all. I will never call them again and I would probably never do a big deal again. They were going to charge tax. I was quite surprised at that. I said something and they said "No, that's what we do." I said "Fine" so I was going to have to hit $5.76 cash upon arrival. I was given a window sometime on Saturday. I think they called on Friday. It was just for my vent. I waited all day. It has got to be 4:15. I had a memorial service that I didn't go to and I cancelled other appointments because it was a Saturday. I went ahead and called them at 4:15. I said "Where are you guys?" The guy said "Well, we ran into a really tough job." I said "A call, that's what you had to do. You just had to call me and let me know that you lost track of time." The owner or his wife called me and said that they would be out on Monday. I said "Fine." They said that they would make me the very first one of the day. When they came here, they were very polite but very rushed. I guess I'm not used to that when I'm paying for a service. I just want it to be a little bit different. When they left, I did have to clean up the hallway. I could just tell that they were just rushed. I don't know if they really gave the job that concern or attention. They did say to me when they walked in "And oh, by the way, there's no charge." I didn't really feel confident in the job that was done.
