Teasdale Fenton Cleaning & Property Restoration

Cleaner was on time and did a thoroughly good job.

The day after the pipe burst and water saturated behind the drywall of the kitchen ceiling, breakfast noon and then flooded in to our carpeted family room, my insurance rep highly recommended that I try to get a restoration company that carried the IICRC certification. I found out in quick time that due to the high volume of frozen/busted pipes at other homeowners and commercial properties.... all restoration companies were putting me on the list but couldn't promise if they could get anyone out within the 72 hr critical period when dealing with mold. Well, I got a call from the Teasdale Fenton crew after the 2nd day and set up an appointment for that afternoon. Holy cow these guys were super efficient and professional. I believe their names are Tripp and John and as soon as they stepped in to my home they worked like a finely tuned machine. One fellow took various moisture readings of the walls while the other analyzed the condition of the damaged carpet as well as walked around as I described the specifics of the areas that had been flooded. After they came up with a thorough game plan to treat the damaged area with mold prevention as well as blower placement and humidifier equipment required and what was needed for the deductible, I signed off and they went to work without hesitation. Within a couple of hours they had baseboard & window trim removed (to allow air penetration behind drywall), carpet pulled back and padding removed as well as 7 - 8 industrial blowers in place. The same team returned 3 times in the next 5 days again with the same professionalism and work ethic. Unfortunately, after the 5th day the moisture reading in the walls had not improved enough (due to plastic on the inside surface preventing air flow) and they had to remove the drywall from the flooded area as their main concern was mold elimination. They also wrote up the family room carpet as damaged beyond salvage as the backing had delaminated. This was critical in for the insurance claim in getting the carpet replaced. After their work was completed, I took the opportunity to send Jim Olmstead (the owner of Teasdale Fenton) an e-mail complimenting his crew and I received a call back from him even though this was probably the company's busiest time of the year. Well Done Teasdale Fenton!!

Teasdale Fenton services went well. Everything were good. I wasn't there, but my husband said it was good and he was very happy with the result.

Some of the stains didn't come out as well as expected.

It went very well! After we got through some scheduling difficulties, they were very professional and timely. They charged $15 / vent, and we had 30 vents, so the price ended up a bit more than I thought. The quality of the cleaning was good and they were very knowledgeable in answering my questions. This was the first time I had used them, and I would use them again in the future.

Unreliable! Phoned another carpet cleaning service who arrived 45 minutes later and did a very nice job!

It went pretty well! The price was reasonable and I was satisfied with the quality of the work. I would recommend them!

Everything went well, blockage of lint/dryer papers was removed.

I bought the $199 Angie's list deal online and then called Teasdale Fenton to schedule the appointment. They were very nice and were able to accommodate our schedule. I asked if they used video cameras to show the process and what was cleaned, before/after, etc. I was told "Yes, we can do that." but they did not offer to use cameras during the duct cleaning. I was at work and my wife was home during the service and didn't think to ask. Maybe we had to make that clearer that we would have liked that. The originally scheduled service date didn't work out because upon arrival they realized that they didn't bring the right equipment for our particular house setup. They offered to return and add an complimentary sterilization to compensate, which we accepted. They were able to come back 3 days later and complete the service. They were very prompt and professional during each visit. However, one floor register was not replaced (which was very difficult for me to replace after the fact) and one wall vent was not screwed all the way in. They charge an environmental fee and tax that amounted to $27.30 in addition to the $199. But these charges were explained in advance. Overall, it was quality work for a great price and we are pleased with the results. We would recommend and probably use again.

It’s a big deal purchase for air duct cleaning. I wouldn’t say it’s good. They are right on time. They told me what they are going to do and they did it. What they didn’t do is they didn’t seal back the area of the duct where they went to clean it right near furnace so I just had actually seal it back or take it back a little bit better on my own because there was hot air because of their failure to didn’t tape it correctly. I can’t remember the service date – It was within four weeks when I bought it.

Before actually coming out for the service, the office was easy to schedule with and very clear on what my coupon covered and what would be an additional fee. So I knew what to expect before they arrived. The gentlemen that arrived were very professional and explained everything to me step by step throughout the process. They laid out my options for services above what was included in my coupon and did a thorough job of cleaning my ducts and furnance. The gentleman did try to sell me a UV light to get rid of mold in the future but he wasn't pushy. I just explained that I didn't know much about it and would want to do more research before investing. He was fine with that. I would use Teasdale Fenton again.

We had a hard time locating the outside vent but he found it behind some bushes. They were in and out in less than 1/2 hour and waived an environmental fee.

The men arrived earlier then expected. But call ahead to see if this would be acceptable. They were knowledgeable and explained in details what services would be performed. I was pleased with the services.

Marcus, the job lead, called in advance to let me know that they were on the way. They arrived on time and were incredibly courteous. Marcus described his method, process and estimated duration for the job. He frequently checked in with me to answer any questions or concerns and answered them promptly and thoroughly. I am very happy with my experience and will definitely use this provider again.

We moved and over the summer wanted the carpets cleaned in our new, fairly large, empty house. TF guy showed up, but when he discovered our Air Conditioning wasn't working and the humidity and temp were high he advised against cleaning as carpets wouldn't dry properly and mold/ mildew could be an issue. Appreciated them doing this. Rescheduled this a few weeks later when the temps were better. They showed up early as they'd had a cancellation. (We'd requested they came as early as they could). They did try to do an upsell on us w/ an addt'l carpet protection. Weren't exctied about that higher (optional) price. But when we waivered on the price they did come down and offer us other options. We rarely have our carpets professioanlly cleaned, but we would have them out again and would re-request Josh & TJ.

The amount of dust & how quickly it accumulates in the house has improved dramatically. The process se3emed to generate some dust but once that was cleaned from surfaces, the house stays much cleaner much longer.

I purchased the big deal for a complete air vent cleaning. When they arrived, they took a look at my furnace and due to its location (butted up flush against my ceiling) they informed us they cannot "properly mount the machine" their company uses to clean our vents - they looked around the condo to see if there was any way they could do the job for us without their equipment but they advised us that it would not be a good idea. They were very thorough and showed my husband and me inside our ducts and air-intake and indicated that we really don't even have much dust and wouldn't actually need the cleaning and suggested that we get new filters for our furnace instead. I am impressed with their honesty and intend to use them in the future when I need my dryer vent cleaned and my carpets and upholstery cleaned.

They did great job and our heat is working great now!

Josh was very professional and explained everything. But the bill did not reflect the sales and had an additional fee that we had been told would be waived. When this was brought to their attention the bill was adjusted down to what we were told

I have no complains. House was vacant I wasn't home, but they got there, did what I requested to be done and paid attention to the stains per my request. Everything was done to my satisfaction.

I called them to schedule with them, and they came within a week. They did a good job cleaning out the air ducts and I'd hire them again. I saw all the stuff that they cleaned out from my ducts, which leads me to believe that they did a good job.

Actual service was good. Tech were friendly and polite. However, I would suggest that they use shoe protectors as they go in and out at times (not an issue with the in and out) and this would help with tracking dirt on rugs; use plastic gives or something to protect areas around vents, We had dirt marks on some areas around the vents and also on some furniture they moved; I would also suggest that they have some sort of cleaner such as Mr Clean pads or soothing to wipe off vent after they put them back. As dirt is involved, dirt marks can result. Nice guys but I would not have the customer responsible for cleaning after the job is done. A little care and planning will help.

They were on time and they did good work for me. They were professional. Scheduling was great. They were responsive to me and my schedule.
