Teasdale Fenton Cleaning & Property Restoration

This was an Angie's Big Deal - advertised at $89. However, (and I take the blame for this) there was a $12.99 "environmental fee" added to this which was included in the fine print that I didn't read. I was surprised by the fee when it came time to pay. So it was really a $101 deal. The two guys who did the work were very nice and were prompt. They were patient with me while I corralled a freaked out cat. There were a few spots that didn't come up, that I don't believe were stains. But again it was my fault that I didn't do an inspection before they left. They were in & out in about 20 minutes. There was also some water left standing on the hardwood stairs. Another thing that annoyed me was that I entered all the requested information online, including my scheduling availability. I simply got back a message to call the company to schedule, at which time I had to provide all the information again. May as well have skipped that first step.

I will start by stating that everything ended up okay, but there were some bumps along the way. I think my situation was just one of those that became more complicated than it was supposed to be. I started out buying 2 coupons on Angie's List- one for a dryer vent cleaning and another for a duct cleaning, but we ended up doing much more (adding on mold clean up in the heat pump unit and the installation of 2 UV light units to prevent mold re-growth). I was not impressed by the first guy they sent out to clean the heat pump indoor unit (after all, he mentioned that he started with the company as a carpet cleaner), so I question their expertise in each area. I had some concerns when mold was found, and I started working directly with Marcus (the HVAC dept. manager of the company), and he was wonderful! There were some hiccups along the way (a plug was broken in the unit, and another HVAC contractor had to come out and fix it, Teasdale Fenton paid for it, but it was a bit inconvenient...the needed part had to be ordered, it took a week to come in, our A/C was off for a little bit). Even though their prices for the aforementioned services were lowered than others I contacted, I think the next time, I'd probably hire HVAC licensed people to work on the unit. However, I will mention again that once I started working directly with Marcus (the dept. manager), I was impressed by his professionalism and hard work to resolve any and all issues!

I purchased a DEAL. The technicians came out and we had more vents then were offered in the Deal. The two young men were very pleasant. I would DEFINITELY recommend these two technicians. I realize that having airducts cleaned isn't a very exciting thing, you do not get a visual "high" on seeing your clean airducts, but the young men were enjoyable to have in our home and explained what they were doing.

The carpet is in great shape and is a high quality berber but we had some dog issues. The carpet came very clean. The cleaners offered to do a scotch guard protection and odor removal on the carpet and that added another $100. After fees, etc, the total was about $225. Within a couple of weeks, the old stains were coming back up through the carpet. New stains did not clean up any differently with the scotch guard than before, so maybe the scotch guard wasn't properly applied or maybe it just doesn't work. Overall the carpet looked a lot cleaner for a few weeks but beyond that it was a waste of money. I wish I hadn't spent the extra $100 on odor removal and scotch guard.

The two technicians arrived on time, steamed cleaned and applied carpet protector in four rooms of my house. Both of the young men were outstanding, polite, helpful and professional. They completed the job promptly and placed furniture back into place before leaving the house. I will definitely call them again for all of my carpet cleaning.

They were on time, to the point and quick and got the job done to my satisfaction.

Placed order for furnace duct cleaning. When technician showed up to perform work I was told existing duct work would have to be accessed by cutting out metal panel & drilling several access holes in duct work. I was not informed of this process prior to service date & not comfortable with technician altering duct work on new furnace. No work performed!

It went as planned. I had more vents then the special, but I knew about the additional charge. They did cut through the information for my furnace company sticker. not so happy about that.

They were very nice and got the job done in no time flat! I was very happy that they cleaned up after themselves.

They were professional and cleaned up well after themselves. They called us before coming to ask if they could come a little earlier than anticipated. It was positive experience.

The service was fine and we had no problems. When I made the appointment they came out almost immediately.

Scheduling was easy, they showed on time for the appointment, and they did a good job with the cleaning. Ultimately, it was a reasonably nice experience.

It was a good deal. They did a good job however there were some stains from our dog that no carpet cleaning company has been able to get out.

They took the time to explain the treatment they were putting down and what to expect. Took their time doing the complete job and made sure I was completely satisfied before they left. They left information on how to request a return visit if I noticed anything that needed follow-up. I'll definitely use them again.

It went well. They were efficient and clean.

The vendor arrived on schedule. He was very professional and explained clearly what was he would be doing. He also explained that there were additional fees beyond what was offered by the Angie's List Special. In the special, the vent cleaning was offered for $75.00, but because my dryer vented through the roof, there usually was an extra hazard duty charge (which he said he would forego). He also explained the $75.00 did not cover taxes and hazardous material disposal. I said I needed the vent cleaned, so I wrote an additional check (beyond what I'd paid Angie's List through Pay Pal) for $16.79. If the "hazard" charge for getting on the roof to clean the vent had been included the total cost "ON SPECIAL" would have been almost $125.00. The dryer vent cleaning took less than 10 minutes to complete.

Guys arrived on time, explained the process, told me they were shutting down my unit and putting a number of holes in the duct work then told me why and how they would repair them. I was very happy with the service and the men who did the service. I was surprised that after you paid the $15/per extra vent, that you were paying the same price as if you didn't have a deal at all. A little disappointed with that. I think this works best for those with more than ten vents (include cold air returns) and no more than fifteen.They also have an environmental fee and taxes on the additional price as well as the $199.00 I paid Angie. Would I use them again? Yes. I just felt that the offer didn't represent the real deal.

Technician took less than 20 minutes to clean approximately 1100 sq. ft. of carpet, No attempt was made to remove what I would consider non-permanent spots. I could have rented a machine and did the same job for less $$$. Not what I would expect from a professional service. I was very disappointed.

I ended up spending more then the deal because we had stains in some rooms but this was made clear to me before service and all additional fees that we discussed prior were accurate. I declined some additional services but was very comfortable doing so. No high pressure sales tactics, just suggestions. They did a great job!! WE have very dirty white carpet and it turned out better then I expected. Will definantly use them in the future!

We were satisfied with the work they did and would definetely use them again. I would recommend them to anyone because they do a very good job and they were on time.

Marcus called when he was on his way and was punctual and very professional. He explained what he was going to be doing and made sure I understood, and even asked if I had any further questions before he even started. He kept me informed during the whole process on his timing and things that he saw in the air ducts. He informed me about things to look for and what he found during the cleaning. He was very nice and professional and cleaned up after himself like he wasn't even there. Would definitely go with this company again if needed.

We had Teasdale come and clean out ducts and vents following remodeling. We were very happy with the service performed and checked Angie's List for good carpet cleaners which there are many. We decided based on our experience with the duct work to use Teasdale again for cleaning the carpets. Price was very competitive too. Todd and Dan called before coming and we were told they would come between 8-10. They arrived at 9am and we reviewed what was to be done. They cleaned all the carpets in very short order and did an excellent job. They were careful and nothing was disturbed that should not have been disturbed. We would use them again with no issues what so ever. Nancy scheduled the work on Tuesday 2 Sept and she had computer problems but did keep calling back until we got things scheduled. They follow through when they say they will and arrive when they say they will. Recommend them highly...
