Teasdale Fenton Cleaning & Property Restoration

We just bought a new house, and if we could, we would have replaced the carpet altogether. These guys got all the dirt and grime out. The heavy traffic areas look 100% better! Tommy and Dominic did the work. (Request them!) They were friendly, professional, and did great work. We'll be using these guys again in the house we're selling and in our new house again in the spring. Thank you Teasdale Fenton!

They arrived on time. It was a rainy day with a 2 man team. The leader of the team didn’t bother to cover his shoes with any kind of protective material. I normally don’t care, but I had just had my tiles cleaned. I immediately went to get a rag to clean it up. The second gentleman realized I was upset & went to get covers for himself. When he came back from the truck after he got the covers for his shoes, he bent down to help me clean up the mess. The leader did not put them on at all throughout the course of the work. I misunderstood the deal & what needed to be cleaned. When he added up the ducts, the extra amount I was paying was substantial. I asked if I could purchase another deal & he would not let me. When he did the main work at the furnace, something he did knocked out part of the power in my house. I did not notice because I didn’t go in that area of the home a lot. The gentleman never said anything. I realized the next day that there was an issue when my assistant went to vacuum & it didn’t work. My husband fixed this, but I would have liked the worker to tell me this when he did it. When they did the cleaning, they generated debris that didn’t get vacuumed up. My carpets were clean before they came & my assistant had to vacuum after they left everywhere. I also had to reach out to them to schedule. Based on this experience, I would not have this company back again.

Work was scheduled and done right away. Very surprised they could accommodate my schedule as quickly as they did. I was please with the service. Did 3 rooms, stairs and a hallway. Sent 2 workers that were very informative and job was done very quickly. Be forewarned, the workers expect to be tipped!

Teasdale did a nice job overall. I was a little disappointed that they didn't ask me over the phone when I was scheduling them why I was getting my air ducts cleaned. If they would have asked me why, I may have found out that I didn't really need it done. When the two men arrived to do the cleaning they were surprised to find a clean 7 year old one owner house. They told me that that was a bit unusal for a home like ours to need their ducts cleaned. I had scheduled it because we live in a new neigborhood and our ducts had never been cleaned since the house was built. I was under the impression that they probably needed it from all of the construction debris. Since I had already purchased the $199 deal through Angie's List and they were there to do the work, I just went ahead and had it done. Overall, I am glad I had it done. I was just a little shocked as to how expensive it became. We had to purchase 2 duct cleanings at $199 each since we have 2 furnaces. I was hoping for a better deal for the two since that really gets expensive. As with many things like this, they offered more and more services to me while they were there that were hard to say no to and before I knew it we were looking at an additional $200 in charges. The additions were a new dryer duct cover and cage (A bird had broken our cover and gotten in and laid a nest.), blower and coil cleaning for the HVAC unit downstairs (which we were planning on having done in the near future) and an antimicrobial treatment on both of our HVAC systems. We have 5 children, so I felt like that last addition was a good idea since a couple of them show signs of minor allergies. I had paid $199 already through Angie's List and when all was said and done, I owed them an additional $466! There weren't any payment plan options either. I will say that I did NOT feel pressure at all and the workers were not "salesmen" like at all. They did good honest work. My upstairs needed some cleaning up (under some of the vents) after they left, but all in all they cleaned up well and I was happy with their work.

Crew was professional and thorough. Angie's List coupon was a great savings. Opted to used savings to buy additional services to further improve indoor air quality.

I was told they would be there between 10am and noon when I scheduled my appointment. They called at 11 am and said they would be there by noon and they did arrive a little before noon (I appreciated the fact that they called to let me know instead of calling 15 minutes before their arrival. Tony and Josh were knowledgeable, professional, friendly and efficient. My carpets look great. I will recommend Teasdale Fenton to my friends.

I called the week before Thanksgiving, thinking I wouldn't be able to get on their schedule so late, but they came later that week. They gave me a reminder call (recorded) to firm up our appointment. Brad, the carpet cleaner, called beforehand to make sure I was expecting him and told me when he'd be at my home. When he got here he was friendly and courteous, even made sure I knew he'd leave the door open a tiny bit, to make sure the cat didn't escape when he did this. He worked very hard while here, and finished the 5 rooms in under an hour, while giving me quality work. Both my husband and I are very pleased at how bright and clean the carpets are.

It took a couple weeks becaues I sent one of the rugs back, due to some animal odors remaining. They deoderized it and did a great job.

I didn't like the technicians that they sent and I called the corporate office to complain. They came a couple of weeks early while I was trying to box up some of my things to prepare for the actual appointment. I had the front door open but the storm door was closed and they came into the front door without me telling them to come in. They let me know that they called before they came, and I let him know that I was in another room and couldn't get to the phone as I'm in a wheelchair. He kept trying to upsell me and I kept telling him no. Eventually, I had to cut him off and let him know that I just wanted the carpet cleaned. He also told me that I was mean and rude to them and I let them know that I would have been more pleasant if they came when they were supposed to. When my phone rang, he stated, "See, your phone does work." and I let him know that I never said it didn't work, I said that I couldn't get to it. However, the carpet looked good and the supervisor and corporate office were very nice.

I was one of those people who didn't think air duct cleaning was necessary, but we have a lot of allergies & decided to do it because of the special on Angie's list. When the technician asked me if we had a black lab (no, but the prior home owner did), I was sold!! We have lived here for 8 years and they cleaned tons of black lab hair out of our ducts! My poor husband is allergic to dogs, and he is definitely breathing easier. Teasdale Fenton did a fantastic job!

I am very happy with the quality of the cleaning. This was the first time in the eight years we have lived in this house that we had the dryer vent cleaned. The two technicians did a good job of thoroughly cleaning our relatively long duct run (over 20 feet). Scheduling was great and both technicians were courteous and professional. The only reason for giving a B rating is the price. Even with an Angie's List special, the cost was $80. While this compares favorably to others providing the same/similar service, compared to other types of services, this seems quite expensive, considering cleaning the duct took only about 10 minutes.

They were very nice and professional. When I called to schedule the appointment, the woman let me know that she had this done to her own home and she said it was great; explained the service stating that the vents would be sealed and the furnace would be cleaned out. She also advised to make sure they get all of the vents back open, one of hers was still closed and she had to get them to come back to unseal it. When they came out, I asked them about it and they mentioned they only perform that service for commercial buildings, like hospitals. I thought that this would have been the most effective way to have this done. I felt the suction of the vacuum and I did not feel that it was not that strong. They explained that is gets stronger as it attaches to something. The technicians were very friendly and professional. The procedures just fell short of my expectations.

Teasdale Fenton Carpet and Cleaning Restoration company did an outstanding job shampooing the carpet in my house I purchase them to do which was $89 for 5 rooms up to total of 1250 square foot area. The two technicians they sent to my house were very professional, courteous and represented their company very well. When they arrived I walked them thru the house showing them the areas we wished to be cleaned, they discussed with me the condition of the carpets as the main area I wanted shampooed was a carpet in the basement that has had 4 years wear & tear abuse of 4 dogs and 6 children playing down there. To my surprise they were able to get the basement carpet very clean looking and in very nice condition with upcoming winter and knowing we will have 6 children under age of 8 playing down there nightly. We added on cleaning the family room for a small additional fee of $20 and they did an outstanding job cleaning this carpet as well. They moved all furniture for us to clean underneath then replaced them to their original location. Very pleased and would recommend them to anyone and I will use them again myself. We will use them again come spring time after the beating the carpet in basement area will take from winter.

Everything went as expected because we have used them previously. I marked them down because they give you a two hour window but somehow I am always at the very end of that two hour window. (they have until noon and get there at 11:55) Also, you never pay what you originally think you are going to pay. This just seems to be standard in the carpet cleaning business because other providers were the same. Everything is an upcharge and it is usually far more than what you would expect. This time to clean five rooms and a hallway was supposed to be $55. Well then we had them deodorize one of the rooms that was $40 for the one room. Almost more than the whole cleaning. Plus they tack on an environmental fee which they do not tell you about when you purchase the service. I was aware of all of this but wanted to make sure that people knew what they were getting themselves into. Overall, they did a fair job I just do not care for the business model.

I had a pipe break and there was mold so they could not perform the service.

We had some issues getting them over to my condo to do the cleaning, but after those were solved -- easily mind you -- they were GREAT! The only complaint that I have is that they use "recycled" water and not fresh. I requested that they use fresh water when cleaning my carpets and they honored my request. Will definitely use them again.

. However right before the cleaner called and demanded a credit card payment before they would clean, although the previous work was paid by check after receiving an invoice. The previous work was performed on 4/25. An invoice was received via email on 5/5. A hard copy was also sent. The invoice was promptly paid. I do not pay for services in advance. The tenant was greatly inconvenienced by making preparations for the cleaning and taking time out of schedule to let cleaners in. I called Teasdale and spoke with management who refused to perform the cleaning because I couldn't remember who I spoke with when I made the appointment. Complete failure.

Once scheduled, I was contacted once to reschedule. I have absolutely no problem with that. Things change. And they contacted me to reschedule in a timely manner. The service was excellent. These guys were experienced and professional. They were in and out in about 45 minutes.

The guys were punctual, professional, friendly. I recommended them to a neighbor and they agree with what I say

The lady on the phone was very responsive and nice. They called the next day asking if they could come earlier than planned, and I said sure. They got it done quickly and took care to get the heavily soiled spots. The worker called afterward and was also very polite. The only downside is that while doing the transaction on the phone, they quoted a certain cost, then had a tack-on "environmental" fee. They should just build that into the cost and quote one cost instead of tacking fees on... that's kind of a "phone company" thing to do.
