+ -1 moreStephan Taylor took a $2800 deposit from me and did not complete any work. He stated in our contract that if the job was canceled for any reason he would refund our money. I intended to purchased a house to flip and did not close on the house. Taylor Custom ( Stephon Taylor) did not return my money per our contract. He promised to give the money back then gave me a sob story about getting a divorce and he didn’t have the money to give back to me. I will be heading to small claims court. Please do not do business with this crook. I am now out $2800. Horrible first experience with flipping houses

+ -1 moreFirst of all, he is very responsive when i called. He was busy with other jobs, but fit me in on his off days. He is very professional in the way he quotes things up front., yet he is flexible if i change plans ahead of the job. the work he did was as promised and on time. This is the 3rd job he has done for me and i would absolutely hire him again.
Description of Work: he painted 3 large rooms, one small closet and one half bathroom.

+ -1 moreHe clearly takes pride in his work, with diligent attention to detail and experience that counts. He wants his work to speak for itself in the years to come. This is the second job i've hired him for, and i plan to hire him again in the future when the need arises.
Description of Work: The job was to repaint/restain our front porch and upper deck , which is 2 levels. He powerwashed everything thoroughly first, then did some caulk to carefully seal joints, and applied wood-saver as needed. He pointed out a few areas of rot that were beyond repair, which i completely agreed with, and called a carpenter to assist with replacement of those sections of wood. then, he returned a few days later as promised to paint 2 layers on all the railings, followed by 1 coat of stain for the deck surfaces. He went above and beyond what we agreed to by powerwashing the front our our house, including a wasp's nest which i couldn't reach.

I requested a quick quote for painting our exterior foundation, re-staining our 3rd floor deck, and repainting the railing around the deck. he provided what i believe was an excellent and fair bid. he went above and beyond, doing some extra tuck pointing work which was not listed in the bid, but which he found did need to be done. Also, he moved efficiently and operated very professionally. Clearly, he takes pride in his work. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a professional exterior painter for their home!
Description of Work: -powerwash field stone foundation, then repaint with 2 coats -powerwash 3rd floor deck and railings; repaint railings x 2 coats and stain deck with x1 coat.

+ -1 moreI WAS VERY PLEASED, HE DID NICE WORK. HE STARTED VERY EARLY IN THE DAY, AT 8AM, HE WAS VERY PUNCTUAL, HE WORKED WELL, AND I HAD NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. IT WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE.
Description of Work: INTERIOR PAINTING, HE REDID MY FAMILY ROOM AND ANOTHER, ALSO DID BASEBOARDS AND SOME TRIM.
