Everything is all fixed well. He did a good job. We called them on late Monday and they were pretty prompt in meeting us, we had to drive down to Cincinnati to meet them. We told them we just joined Angie's List but we didn't have the book yet and he gave us $25 off the price anyways.

My husband thought he could replace/install a new kitchen faucet over the Labor Day weekend. You all know how this ended up, right? Tarvin responded quickly and fixed a leak under the sink. They also finished the installation of the faucet. Very nice and cleaned up after himself! The high price is due to an emergency/holiday rate.

My bathtub drain was slow so I called and was able to get an early appointment about a week out. I was told they'd be there about 8:30 AM. By the time the appointment rolled around, the drain was almost completely stopped. The plumber (Ellis) called around 8 AM and said he'd be there in about 45 minutes and he was which made the company about 15 minutes late. I showed him the bathroom/ drain and he got right to work. I left him to do the work and checked back in about 10 minutes. He said things were going fine and that he would be done in about 10 minutes, but that he broke the faceplate to the stopper and had to replace it. He was done shortly after and prepared the bill and he included a charge of $15.00 for a new faceplate. I asked him why he was charging me if he broke the faceplate and he replied that the old faceplate was corroded and it wasn't his fault. I told him I disagreed but quickly decided to pay the bill because it was only $15.00, but won't be using them again.

They did the work over several days, they had trouble getting the permit and kept me apprised of what was going on. They left things cleaner than when they arrived.

Mike Tarvin came for the original estimate. He was not high pressured and explained everything in detail. He had us come to his showroom to choose the countertop and faucet. The Corian rep came to the house and took lengthy measurements. Two employees from Corian came later to install the countertop. Finally, Tarvin came to complete the installation including the electrical outlets. Overall, a very good experience.

Plumber came when promised. Costs were in line with phone estimate. Plumber was very thorough, checked with me on a question or two, worked expeditiously, cleaned up when done. While Tarvin Plumbing is not cheap, the money is well worth it. I am very pleased with the work. Also, got an Angie's list discount of $25.00.

They were punctual. I called at one and they fit me in by 4:00.

They came out did the work and were on their way. They gave options on pricing, which was nice to be able to choose the quality of disposal. They did a good job and I would use them again.

We had just moved into our new house and used the whirlpool bath for the first time. When we drained the tub, it drained VERY slowly AND caused sediment-filled water to back up onto the basement floor from the floor drain. I called the plumber the following morning. Whatever clog had caused the backup into the basement floor drain had resolved itself - the plumber concluded that it had probably been a 'soft clog' that was resolved - so the plumber cleaned the large clog out of the tub drain. The company's response time was exceptional (a couple of hours) and the plumber was courteous and efficient. $103 was certainly not bad for a service call.

Very well. Everyone was courteous. The work person showed up on time. There were no surprises regarding cost. The quality of work was excellent.

All work was done extremely well and according to the planned schedule. We had two redesign problems that required the creativity of Mike and his people working with us to resolve and all turned out beautifully! This was our third renovation contract with Tarvin Plumbing and we have always felt that quality, cost and workmanship were excellent.

They were prompt and very efficient. Very nice people to do business with. I would use them again. The cost depends on the job they do.

They called before they came, and showed up when they said they would. They estimated about 4 hours, but it only took two. Did a good job replacing the drainpipe in the backyard, without causing damage to the sprinkler system. He used existing downspouts to connect when possible. I did think since it only took 2 hours, that I should only have been charged for 2 hours, but he charged me for 3, saying it took time to get to my house.

Jim arrived on time and worked quickly to replumb the items on my list. He offered suggestions to make cheaper repairs when possible. I felt comfortable having him in my home.

Went great. This company is very easy to schedule around my work schedule and have proven to be quite accommodating. He came, dug out the sections that were still buried and replaced the damaged chunks with new actually more durable pipe. Dealt with the nasty clay digging without complaining and helped me figure out where the two front downspout were coming out. I did not buy the house new and really had no idea how the downspouts were routed. Trust me, it is not intuitively obvious in my yard. Anyway he is paid hourly rate and did not dawdle. I was so very pleased to have it taken care of.

I called them around 8:30 Monday morning and they were able to come out that same morning. They called me back at work and gave me half an hour to get home, then once I got there I waited less than half an hour before the plumber arrived. Everything is working well now and he cleaned up the area well. No problems at all.

I called twice to schedule an appointment. The plumber arrived promptly the following morning to complete the work. It seemed a bit expensive for the labor and parts provided, but I was glad to have a functioning toilet again.

He came and installed the water heater. He was very polite. He let us know ahead of time that it would be a little more than we were quoted because several pipes were not up to code and the hot and cold was reversed. Excellent job, very efficient. Cleaned up after work. Honest about work needing done on our exterior drains.

We were having some trouble finding a time when I would be at home to work with the plumber. The office was professional and persistent in finding a time I could be there. Jim Pielage was prompt, professional, and did a great job with exactly was I was expecting from the work.

Came on time and worked diligently to solve problem. Technician was courteous and kept me informed of progress and made recommendations for further specialized diagnostic work.
