Tarvin plumbing sent an experienced plumber and an apprentice, and they worked through the repairs quickly. And before they left, the plumber decided to check the overall water pressure in our house to see if that might be contributing to all the leaks we were experiencing. He discovered that the water pressure coming out of our faucets was about 40 - 60 PSI higher than it was supposed to be, so they also replaced the pressure regulator on our supply line. The plumber did a good job of explaining everything to me and letting me know how much each of the repairs would be upfront before starting the work. Overall I was very pleased with the job.

Dave from Tarvin installed the new kitchen faucet Friday, 9/23/2016. By Monday the cold water side of the new faucet was dripping. It did not stop so I called Tarvin again . On 9/30/16, Ellis came out and replaced the washer on the cold water side and said that should take care of it. Ellis did not charge us. The new faucet started leaking cold water again by Monday. On 10/6/16 Jim came out and said the washer was bad again because we have galvanized water pipes. He talked down to us and said Tarvin could not keep coming out for free to change washers. He said we owed $30.00 and he was giving us a discounted rate. I feel Ellis failed to diagnose the problem and I should not have been charged the $30.003

He was patient, listened to everything I had to say, and eventually made some cuts in the walls but did his best to find inconspicuous places to do so. We were able to rule several things out and narrowed it down to two possibilities. He gave us instructions on what to do so we find out answer. He would have helped with this as well but we needed to pull the carpet back and have it dry before we did anything further. We paid him for coming out and luckily the source was one where we could fix ourselves. I will definitely call this company again in the future.

It went fine. There were additional plumbing that need to be done. They have at least two or three hours here more. They were efficient, did the job and they were friendly. Pricing is a little more than what I expected but they were here for awhile and did a lot of work.

The work went very well. I was told on Monday that a repair person would contact me on Tuesday morning between 8:00 and 8:30. I received a phone call from Brent at 8:15 and he said he would arrive in about 30 minutes. Brent arrived around 8:45 with his helper Alex. They were very professional and went immediately to work assessing the issues and suggesting what needs to be done with each faucet. They replaced the Kitchen Faucet with a new Faucet we had on hand. They repaired the the Master Shower Faucet and they replaced the garage faucet. To replace the garage faucet it required Brent to crawl into a small crawl space area in our basement and this area is where we stored some boxes. so we had to move the boxes for Brent and Alex to complete the job. They both helped move the items out of the way and replaced the faucet very efficiently. Brent and Alex did an excellent job and I would recommend using Tarvin Plumbing for any of your plumbing repairs.

Great! The technician was awesome and friendly.

It went better than we could have hoped. We called Tarvin around 9 am. They arrived with a new water heater TWO HOURS later!!! By 2:pm we had our new, working water heater. The workers were efficient, work-oriented and clear in describing what I needed to know. We felt price was reasonable considering we bought a 12-year warranty. I put Tarvin in my address book; they are our new plumbing service!

I just had Ellis & Mark from Tarvin plumbing leave our home after looking at what I thought was a leaking flange gasket on our Insinkerator garbage disposal. After Ellis looked at it (very well I might add) he determined that it was the disposal itself that was the culprit. I did not think I could afford to replace it now but as it turns out Ellis & Mark told me that they had the same Badger Insinkerator disposer on the truck and the price seemed very fair. I told them to go ahead and to my pleasant surprise in less than an hour later they had it installed, checked and double checked and the final bill was less than the estimate. If Ellis & Mark are any example of the kind of folks working for your company, then I know I will be using your company again should I have a plumbing issue. These two gentlemen were very polite, knowledgeable and kept me informed about what the job would entail. Very nice guys, kudos to Tarvin Plumbing for having such quality employees. I thought we needed a new part for the faucet. I ordered it on-line, but it was the wrong part. Tarvin technician fixed the faucet without the part with some adjustments to the "guts" of the faucet. Works perfectly. Replaced toilet seal and put clear caulk around base. Looks great and no more leaks.

They scheduled VERY quickly, and the plumber that came over was very smart, courteous, and knowledgeable. I can tell they have tons of experience and know-how and would do the job 100% right. My concern is with the price of their quote to fix and redo the bathroom. I acknowledge they probably do some of the most high quality work in the region, but the price was a little high for me.

Excellent service. Plumber found leak in the supply line to toilet (not obvious to me), and replaced the worn out parts from supplies on his service truck. When asked for advice on how to replace faucet handle and shower head attachment, he found the parts I needed (online) and gave me fix-it directions. This all took about an hour.

i was told he wasn't sure where the leaking from the toilet was coming from so he couldn't guarantee his work. He changed out the supplies in the toilet tank. He said I would have to purchase the washer for the sink since he didn't have the part. The toilet continued to leak periodically and a year later I hired a different company. They fixed both leaks and charged 65% less than Tarvin.

The plumbing was messed up. They did not take care of the problem. They gave us bad information. their plumb said it was the toilet so we went out and got two more toilets and they did the same thing. The line was stopped up and it needed to be grooved and he said it was the toilet. We ended up putting the old toilet back in after it was cleaned out and it worked just fine. I paid them for nothing. The first person I sent was very helpful and that's why I went back to them, this guy they sent did not get it right at all. I called them to diagnose the problem which was the coupon I purchased. He poured a bucket of water down the drain the toilet sat on. Since the bucket went down he said the problem was the toilet, he did not scope it. He only poured a one gallon bucket, if he had poured a 5 gallon bucket it would have stopped up. I would not want to use them again because I would not want to take the chance of that guy again. The first guy I would use again. He came out to diagnose the problem and since he did not he cost me time and money.

I purchased a deal for a fully installed replacement disposal for $275. I had called my regular provider, who I pay a monthly membership for other services and asked them to rush this. They could not come for a week. I checked Angie's and found Tarvin. They came out the same day, within a few hours. The disposal was replaced in about 1/2 hour and the technician was friendly and efficient. I threw another issue at him when he arrived, a broken exterior faucet, and he replaced it on the spot for a reasonable service fee.

This was my first time using Tarvin and I am pleased with the outcome for the price. Both the Service Associates were professional, knowledgable, and diligent. They were unable to clear they line the first day but they promptly returned the next day and were very fair in billing because of the inconvenience. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Brent was very efficient and knowledgeable. He knew exactly how to fix the faucets that were leaking. He educated us about things to watch out for in all 3 bathrooms. Recommended replacement of one faucet and educated us as to what to shop for. A great experience and we will use again!

This was a big deal purchase. They came out pretty quickly, like, within two weeks after I bought the deal. They did a good job, but we just were not so pleased because they took a long time and charged per hour. My husband interacted entirely with them. The work is fine. There is, like, the faucet in the bathroom that still drips. Everything else was okay. What they could do better in the future is, maybe, is when we, like, say, like, everything that we are doing approximately how long it would take and how much it would cost because they, like, took the whole day and the bill was very expensive. The quality of their work was better.
