Description of Work: I live in Georgia so I needed a local Cincinnati plumber for a leaky bathroom tub in a trust property. The good experience began immediately with the lovely and professional woman who answered the phone. I described the problem and within a day a crew was dispatched to the home. An estimate was given over the phone. The ok given for the work to be accomplished. The work was completed, clean up as well. The final price was actually lower than estimated. Description of Work: This was an ongoing service call. In May 2014 we had drain backup within our basement. Tarvin did a clean out, and all was well until July 2014. The drain backed up again, and we had sewage in the basement. Tarvin came out, and snaked the drain from the floor. There wasn't anything on the snake to indicate what or why we had blockage. The next day it backed up again. Tarvin came out, and could not determine why in a day's time, we had the same problem. This was a no cost call, but given with the understanding any further calls would be chargeable. The technicians suggested getting the pipework scoped. Tarvin does not have cameras. I spoke with Victoria at Tarvin's main office, and took her suggestion. Underground Detectives found that we had root blockage at several joints. A conference call with Mike, Tarvin's owner, and it was decided that I could save a lot of money if I dug out where the cast iron met the clay. Tarvin came back, and explained that the hole was not deep enough to easily fix the problem. They said they could dig, or I could keep digging. I dug some more!! Tarvin was fantastic in working with me to keep me on the front of the schedule. The technicians very knowledgeable, and they let me watch them as they removed the cast iron joint that stepped down to the clay pipe. They installed a clean out with the pvc replacement pipe, and explained the process, while I tried to stay out of their way. The cast iron joint had the nastiest nest of rootwork, and the removal of that part removed my basement back up. | |I appreciate Mike and Victoria for their easy access and answers to my questions, as simple or as complicated as I made them. I appreciate Dave and Mark for educating me on this particular plumbing process. It's nice to work WITH a professional crew.

Description of Work: I had an 20 year old garbage disposer replaced. I furnished the new disposer and they had no problem with me doing that. Since the original was not professionally installed, they had to do some additional plumbing. The installer also made me aware of another problem which I will need to repair at a later date. Over all I was very happy with their service.
