Description of Work: Had Tarvin come to home to repair a few things. They showed up when they said they would and did the job well. The only possible negative was that the plumber brought an "assistant" with him. While the assistant was a help to the plumber, I was charged for her services. I did not feel the assistant saved the plumber much time. Regardless, would use Tarvin again as they are professional, did the work quickly and properley.

Description of Work: Needs to replace the 6 inch faucet pipe my shower. It was leaking and about 60 years old. Tarvin came out and it ended up costing about 350 bucks. Because the plumber took hi sweet time doing who knows what. The pipe was not stuck that badly, it was that u didn't have the proper tools, to remove it. I needed a threaded wrench or something. I had already took the shower cover apart and he drain pipe was completely exposed and ready to go. The new faucet they up sold me is terrible. They said it's heavy duty top quality and charged me over 60 bucks for it. It's a joke I have to put a rubber band on top over it to keep it down while I'm running bath water or else water comes out of the shower too! I did not have this problem until they installed new faucet. Awful. I called them back out and they came, however they could not fix it, said that I should just keep the rubber band on it. I also noticed once they left the second time my water pressure was lighter. So I called a third time to tell them now my water pressure is lower and they said they did not reduce the pressure. I believe they did to try to see if that would correct my faucet problem. So now my water pressure is no good and neither is my faucet. But hey it's not leaking now for 350 bucks...

Description of Work: We hired them to fix two toilets that were leaking inside the tanks, an outside pipe to be replaced because of a tiny hole, a sluggish drain in a bathroom and a service cleaning of a tankless water heater. The technician came without the proper tools for the water heater, despite the fact we arranged it with the company ahead of time, and then told us he couldn't do that. He was here for 7 hours and afterwards, the drain stopped working within two weeks, one of the toilets was constantly running and had a leak in the shut off valve within the tank, the outside pipe was replaced with a copper pipe and he told us it would likely burst in cold weather because he had no galvanized pipe for the outdoors and that the inside shut off valve for the outside faucet needed to be replaced to drain properly. All of this took seven hours and cost a fortune, but still things didn't work properly. Our neighbors told us the technician was spending a lot of time in his truck outside in front of the house. I will NEVER use them again. EVER. (I did find a wonderful local plumber recommended to me by a plumbing supply company who came and fixed the toilet by replacing the valve and a faulty mechanism that the other guy didn't. All of this was done in less than an hour after I called and cost less than $150.00!)

Description of Work: I had them out to give me an estimate on gas lines and some plumbing. Their estimate was almost three times the company who did the work. I was given an estimate over the phone and was told they would send me the estimate via email. The email never arrived. They charged $90 to come out to do the assessment. No one else did.
