Description of Work: The call was set up as a minimum $90 estimate (to be applied to any work done). After hearing the estimate I decided to have the work done. They replaced two toilet shut off valves, the parts in the tank of one of the toilets, and the house main water supply shut off valve.The final cost was $414 and was actually less than the estimate.

Description of Work: This was for a Big Deal purchase. They did a shower installation. They had to open up the wall and put in new piping, install a new shower, and they had to have a second person come in to do a tile repair.

Description of Work: Called Tarvin Plumbing to discuss several plumbing jobs I needed done and was very disappointed with the representative I spoke with. When I speak to people on the phone pertaining to business, I listen well to whom I'm speaking with and expect pleasantness as well. The representative from Tarvin Plumbing seemed annoyed with the several questions I had( rates, service charges, estimates etc. ), and gave me the impression that she was wanting to move on. Business tone of voice was terrible and I was left with the impression that Tarvin didn't need my business! I hope other potential customers have a better experience with Tarvin Plumbing than I did !! A big thumbs down !!

THEREFORE, THERE WAS A CHARGE FOR A SECOND SERVICE CALL. DARRIN WAS UNBELIEVABLY THOROUGH IN DETERMINING THE LIKELY SOURCE OF THE LEAK AS WELL AS OTHER POSSIBLE PROBLEMS THAT ALSO NEED TO BE ADDRESSED. HE CLEANED UP EVERYTHING THAT HE REMOVED FROM UNDER SINKS, ETC. TO LOOK AT PIPES, ETC. HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PROFESSIONAL. I USED TARVIN''S A VERY LONG TIME AGO WHEN THEY WERE STILL EASTERN HILLS PLUMBING AND I FOUND THEM TO BE EVERY BIT AS SATISFACTORY AS THEY WERE 20 YEARS AGO. I COULDN''T RECOMMEND THEM MORE HIGHLY. PLUS I WAS ABLE TO USE AN ANGIE''S LIST DISCOUNT COUPON!
