Excellent service in a timely manner. Came out within 5 days when other plumbers were two-three weeks out. Family owned business. Easy to setup a service appointment. Hired Ron to install a new toilet, vanity and touchess faucet in our recently remodeled powder room. Seemless installation at very reasonable rates. Will hire Steigerwald in the future for our new laundry room and master bath projects.

They are good with their work and I'm pleased with them.

Steigerwald was extremely prompt and helped to get our water heater replaced as quickly as possible. They came and had the the work done within a few hours and hauled away our old unit as well. I'd definitely recommend them and will hire them again in the future.

Ron came out on fairly short notice on a Saturday. He was very friendly, professional and took care of a list of mounting issues in a fairly short amount of time. I am one of those bad Angie's list members who doesn't leave a ton of reviews, but I was so happy with the work done and the fair price that I made myself leave a review in this instance. I will definitely use Steigerwald Plumbing for any future plumbing issues or needs.

Ron was great he explained the repairs in detail. Ron was on time, and professional, he left both areas clean after completion of the repairs.

We had a stream of water coming down the walls in the basement and had no idea what was causing such a large leak. This was a significant problem, causing us to shut off the water to the whole house. We called Steigerwald Plumbing and they were able to come out within hours and find the source of the leak and fix the problem! I am very satisfied with the level of service and expertise that they provided and will continue to use them any time I need a plumber. A+!

This "family business" appears to be a husband and wife team who have no issue with where the disconnect button is on their telephone. We were (unfortunately) put in touch with this business as part of our home warranty to fix an issue with our water heater. They (later known to us) "squeezed" us in today for an appointment between 2 and 4. The plumber (and owner), Ron Wulker, showed up at our house before the scheduled time, supposedly banged on our door and rang our door bell repeatedly and stayed until after 2:00 and then left. My wife received a voicemail from his wife stating that he was here but no one was answering and immediately returned the call. She said that she had sent him to another call and they could not come back today. My wife expressed her anger while crying on the telephone and his wife (Michelle) said too bad. She said they couldn't do anything about it and that they had done us a favor by squeezing us in. She said she could request a 9:00 tomorrow morning and my wife went on to explain that we have no hot water and two small children at home. She told her we would be contacting the BBB since their website boasts about their A+ rating with the BBB. The woman said "we don't care what the BBB says" and hung up on my wife. My wife called back right away and the phone went to voicemail. My wife left a message that they better be coming at 9:00 tomorrow morning as they had never finalized that before she was rudely hung up on. I made a phone call to the company after she continued to not answer my wife's calls. I explained who I was and the cheery voice on the other end suddenly changed. I was told that they wouldn't be assisting us any more because my wife had threatened her. I asked how and was told that my wife calling in after being hung up on and saying that she better have set us up for an appointment for tomorrow since they hadn't scheduled was a threat. I again explained that we needed someone today. The story changed to how the service man had spent 25 minutes at our house before leaving so I asked if she had a boss (I had no idea she was the "owner's wife"). She hung up on me. I proceeded to call back and she never answered. Her husband called my wife from his cell phone saying he didn't know where we get off having our attitudes and that they provided us the best customer service ever. He now said that I had threatened his wife (the honest extent of our conversation is above) and when asked why his wife wouldn't answer our calls except when I called from a number she didn't know (my first call to the company), he stated it was because she was trying to get through to the warranty company. My wife got through to the warranty company and transferred providers in 15 minutes, but this was apparently taking her much longer. He asked if our doorbell worked to which my wife said yes, but we don't live in a large house by any stretch of the imagination and my doorbell is maybe 8 feet from the door. You can hear it from outside. He again told us how they were doing us a favor by squeezing us in. My wife explained how all they had done by "squeezing us in" was to make it impossible for us to receive same day service from another company, as it was now after 3:00. He hung up on my wife again. I called his cell phone number and asked for a callback to discuss our interaction today since the warranty company thinks they are going to bill us. He won't return my call. Never use this company and if your home warranty company suggests them, ask for someone else.

They are wonderful and wouldn't use anyone else. I would give them excellent across the board. They have come quickly. They have done what they say they are going to do. They have given me estimates for things I'm going to have done in the future. They are great. Everything is working absolutely fine since they did the repairs.

Job turned out to be more difficult than the regular drain clog. they handled it like pros that they are.

Very professional. After contacting several local companies, I found Steigerwald to be the most flexible and responsive. Completed work looks great and the price was very reasonable.

It took approximately 2 hours to get the sink unclogged but the plumber worked very diligently at the problem. We have had problems prior because the pipe is long and apparently not slanted enough. Great job. Great clean up. Very personable and professional.

The good part is they set me up for an appointment pretty fast. They took a 1/2 hour job and turned it into a 4 hour job over 2 days. The plumber that was sent out after thinking he fixed the issue decided he didn't have the right parts. He then proceeded to go and get the right parts but once again he didn't get the parts he needed. He said he would stop at a store early in the morning and get the correct parts, which he did. When he left the night before with the shower still leaking he had spent 2.5 hours working on the shower. The following day he said he spent 1.5 hours working but in fact since I timed the work it only took him 1/2. I chose this plumber on location within 5 miles of the house as well as the reviews I saw on Angie's list. After having this vendor come and fix the shower and the time it took I would not recommend him to others.

They were available when I needed them. They did a good job. They were able to do the work when I was gone for vacation. They followed up with me well.

Replaced a worn out laundry faucet.

We had out of town company staying with us when we noticed water in the basement. The toilets were not flushing very well either. We called Steigerwald Plumbing and they were able to come out the same day. They cleared some roots out of the pipe and gave us some information on how to prevent the problem repeating itself. They were here a couple of hours and now we can do laundry without fear.

The job was completed in the time given and was done cleanly with proven experience in plumbing. Angie's list billed me for 2 coupons of $109 and Steigerwald Plumbing recognized my intent was only to purchase 1 coupon and gave me credit for the 2nd. They are very easy to work with and make sure everything is understood before the job was started.

The total work actually took two days. Communications were good in setting up both work schedules and they arrived right on time which was greatly appreciated. Nothing is worse than waiting around the house for a service rep to show up. Not the case here at all. Very punctual. I found them to be extremely professional yet "down to earth" and easy to talk to. Their work was excellent and I would highly recommend them to others. This is a first class business.

We hired Steigerwald Plumbing through Angie's List after reading the good review here. They were very responsive and we were able to set the appointment right away. The plumber came on the time and finished the job within described time frame. His job was superb. We will hire him again.
