Solar Tint

We built a new Three Season room on the back of our home and it has a 9 foot sliding glass (3 panels) door which faces South. This allows sun into the room for long periods. To stop the UV exposure we contact Solar Tint to see about installing 3M Prestige UV film on the the doors. Stopped at their office on a Monday and ask them to quote this job and they said Mike B. would stop to measure and quote. Next day Mike B. says he can stop on Wednesday and get it done. Wednesday email from Mike B. says he will be here late afternoon and would get us a better time as the day progressed. That was the last time we heard from Solar Tint and today is Friday. No show for their appointment on Wednesday and no customer contact after that. So I am suppose to trust a company to install $900 of UV film ($300 per panel) when they can't even keep an appointment with a customer and then no reschedule or apology for the no show? Let me think about this.....Update: It has now been 10 days with no contact from Solar Tint.

We had some hardwood floors with a lot of sun damage refinished. I wanted to protect the floors from the sun so called Solar Tint. Everything went very well from the rep, Ashley, who came out and made suggestions to the two installers who were on time and courteous. We can see out the windows but also see how the film is effecting incoming sun light. Nice job. Would call again.

Skylights are great, but when they're on the south side, the room can get too warm even in winter, and the furniture fades. SolarTint did an excellent job. Everyone from office staff to the installers were courteous and professional. The windows look great, and I wish I had done this years ago.

The two men arrived promptly and wore bottles while they did the work. They were very courteous. The work was done expertly and everything was cleaned up. Well done all the way!!

Set an appt after a prompt estimate was given. Very professional and finished ahead of two hour install time estimate. They gave initial estimate the offered an upsell on site and trusted their advice.

I called Solar Tint and within a week someone came out, looked around, measured the windows, took my email address and told me she would get back with me re price and a curved skylight that she thought they might have a covering for, as it could not be tinted. Based on the A reviews I expected to hear from her within the week but I never heard from her again.

All employees were professional and prompt. Service of using a high quality tint by 3M is very expensive, but results looks good and guarantees are very good. I am very happy with their work. It just is expensive.

They did reviews and they had a lot of pictures on their website, so I could see what their work looked like. When we went to get the work done, the person there was very knowledgeable and gave us advise on what kind of tinting to get done, so it didn't look wrong. At the end of the day our car looked like it came out of the factory that way and not after the fact. I was definitely happy. The interaction with them was good. They are very friendly.

The car looks great. They were done ahead of schedule.

First, the rep. Ashley Porinsky arrived on time to measure windows. She was very knowledgeable and so friendly. They were actually able to complete the job before I thought they would. Second, the installer John gave me a window of time from 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and arrived at 9:25 a.m. I have had many contractors before and this is a first to show up on time and early! Also, never stopped to take a break or talk on the phone! He was so careful with my furnishings and floors. He did an awesome job! So, so nice.

I had him tint the windows to save my furniture. He used a film that was applied. It works great and it didn’t take him that long.

We used Solar Tint last summer to tint part of our house. Their sales rep (Ashley) was responsive, on-time, followed through with a proposal quickly, and had a crew scheduled within one week of our request. The crew was on-time, thorough, and we are completely satisfied with the work and product. They were faced with removal of multiple layers of old, poor quality, poorly installed tint from previous homeowner. I knew this was extra work for them and I could see it was a pain. They never complained, refused, or asked for us to pay more - they just got it done. We were satisfied enough to call them back just recently to install tint on the rest of the house. I did not even consider shopping around - I just called Ashley, who once again was completely responsive, on time and again followed up with proposal same day. I highly recommend Solar Tint.

The installers were on-time, professional and worked quickly. The were finished within 1.5 hours and did an excellent job.

Solar Tint did an excellent job removing the too dark tint on our car and replacing it with new. The work was impeccable and the tints' darkness was just as described. They started working on our car as scheduled and finished it quickly that day as promised. Would highly recommend.

Solar Tint responded promptly and came out in a few days to do the quote for installing 3m Prestige window film. After the quote was accepted they were able to do the installation within two weeks. The installers were right on time, professional, and thorough. Very pleased with Solar Tint and will use them again.

I am not a great storyteller but everyone was courteous and efficient. I am very pleased with their work.

I went to the showroom and reviewed the products available. I left my name and the sales representative called me later that day, as she was a out of the office when I was there. She was able to come that very evening. We reviewed the products again and measured the windows I was interested in having tinted. I was able to have the work done the following week. Two gentlemen were very prompt. They set up their materials and went right to work. They were very efficient. I decided to only have the first floor tinted. They did 7 windows in 45 minutes. The only thing that concerned me was the amount of water sprayed on the windows. I was concerned there would be streak marks on the wall, but there were none. They cleaned up and the job looks great. Can't wait to see how much it really helps in the summer.

The seem to be fairly busy, so there was some delay getting the appointment, but they did a great job. The waiting area is not the most comfortable, but it's doable.

We called the company and got a rough estimate for 2003 Subaru Forester, to tint the 3 side windows only. The estimate was for $129 for standard tint. We did some further research on their site and 3M's and decided on the better quality tint material for around $179. We made an appointment for the following week. When we arrived the lady explained the difference between the two materials (The better quality would not fade over time), and we told her to use the better quality. Net: The estimate was correct. We arrived at the appointment time and we were in and out of there within 1.5 hours. We followed their instructions and didn't lower the windows or wash with harsh cleansers for 3 days. It's been about 3 weeks time and the windows do go up and down without damaging the film and everything looks great. Good job.

As I arrived the shop, they showed me available tint darkness, and once I picked the tint I want, they start working on it right away.the installation was done in less than 2 hours (2 windows, and windshield strip), and the they did nice job. it's been a couple weeks, and everything is well. I give B for the price since I have found a place slightly cheaper, but looking at their reviews, and the work they did, i would say it is worth the extra 10 bucks. (with the coupon here on angle's list, it made the final price about the same though)

This is the fourth car that they have done over the years. They have all been perfect and lasted as long as we owned the cars.

Explained window film, measured windows, and gave estimate. I called company and got addresses to see film on nearby homes. Made appointment to have company come back and put film on two of my windows. They did the job and cleaned up after themselves. Friendly, professional workmen.
