They did a great job. They were in and out of both locations very quickly - and helpful in making us do less work to get it out. (i.e. they took the latch off the screen door to get it open wider and came and put it back on too). The only area of improvement I would suggest is that it was hard to schedule a specific time far in advance, although they were able to call the day before with timing to the 1/2 hour.

We called 6 places for estimates and only two places returned our calls. Joe at Smooth Moves called back within the hour with a verbal price quote of $150. The other place that returned our call had an estimate of almost twice as much! Joe was great to work with... very professional, punctual and friendly! He gave us an appointment day and time on the first call and he was there as expected and ready to work!! I couldn't be happier with the service and I never worried about my beloved piano being damaged.... Smooth Moves is the way to go!

I can not say enough good things about Pat and the crew. They are reasonable, pleasant, punctual and handle items with a kid glove. We were having new wood floors installed in our house and had to move our furniture which included a 1958 Everitt baby grand piano into the garage. I had gotten a couple of quotes and theirs was by far the most reasonable. We scheduled move dates a couple of weeks in advance. They confirmed the time window the day before and were right on time. Communication with them is excellent. They were fully prepared with equipment and handled things perfectly. I have organized a number of office moves and know when a mover knows what he is doing. The return of the piano and the furniture into the house was even more impressive. They were extremely careful with the new wood floors and freshly painted walls. They are a fine tuned machine and extremely pleasant to boot! I have already recommended them to other people!

We bought a piano from Smooth Moves a good four years ago. At the time, the owner said the purchase comes with one free tuning. Well, we hadn't tuned our piano in the four or five years we'd had the piano, and our daughter's piano teacher ordered us to get it tuned. I called Smooth Moves and said we had bought the piano from them years ago and they had promised us a tuning. I had not kept the receipt or anything in writing. It took a while for us to get in touch with the right person - Pat - but he actually said he remembered us, the piano, and our house, and would come and tune it. And he did, for free! Four years later!

They picked the piano and delivered it to my would-be son-in-law’s house. They did a great job and will use their services in future.

The entire process was simple and professional. From the time I called until the piano was put in place, everyone was friendly and helpful. They called us with detailed time-frames and met those times. Gave me information on the piano's condition and tuning when asked. I've already recommended them to others!

We had initially contacted Smooth Moves at the suggestion of colleagues in the professional music industry. They moved our piano once before, and after having a very positive experience, we chose to hire them again. The same good things could be said for our second experience. The team responded promptly to my inquiry and was able to accommodate my move date. On the day of the move, they notified me when it looked like they were going to run behind schedule. Upon arrival, they were professional, courteous and thorough, handling our piano with great care. They even offered us a referral for a piano tuner.

Showed up when they said the would and did the job. They even called me when they were on their way to my place, which I appreciated very much. Don't try to move that nice piano yourself, call these guys. They know what they are doing and its worth the money to get it done right.

They came when they said they would be there. The way they handled the piano, I was just knocked out. This is just an amazing company. I was absolutely thrilled with their work.

They were a little late picking up the piano, but they did a really efficient yet gentle job of moving it once they showed up. It's pretty obvious that they love pianos. They were very careful with my baby!

Very well. I believe Joe was the one I spoke with on the phone. He asked several questions about the size of the piano and the type of home it would be moved from and to, how many steps were involved, etc. And accurately quoted me a price of 215.00 which was exactly the price. He and his men were right on time, even slightly early. All 3 were very professional, courteous, friendly and knew exactly what they were doing. It took them about 30 minutes to pack up the piano into their truck. It was delivered to my house a couple hours later, very close to the time they expected and they again unloaded and reassembled the piano in about 30 minutes.

It went exactly as planned. They were running late, but called and let us know (which we definitely appreciated) and that is the worst thing we can say about them. They are personable and know what they're doing. Before you try to move a piano yourself, call these folks! It's worth it.

They did a great job! They gave me a time that they would be at my house, not a range of a few hours and showed up right on time. They took great care of my piano and were very easy to work with. I had used a different mover in the past and did not have the same good experience. I highly recommend them. They also have someone who will tune your piano.

WERE APPARENTLY COURTEOUS, PROFESSIONAL, AND TIMELY IN THE PICK-UP, AND ON MY END WERE WITHIN 15 MINUTES OF TARGETED TIME, UNHEARD OF IN MY EXPERIENCE WITH MOVERS OR DELIVERIES. THEY WERE COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL WITH ME, TOO.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE PROFESSIONALISM AND CARE THAT THEY TOOK IN MOVING OUR PIANO. IT WAS EXTREMELY HEAVY, AND WHILE MOVING IT FROM OUR OLD RESIDENCE WAS NO PROBLEM, OUR NEW HOUSE REQUIRED THEM GOING UP STEPS AND AROUND CORNERS. THEY HANDLED EVERYTHING ADMIRABLY.

ARRIVED WHEN PROMISED, COMPLETED MOVE QUICKLY WITH NO PROBLEMS.
