Description of Work: Trimmed very large maple tree in front year. Opened it up and trimmed lower branches so it wasn'thanging onto street and home. Trimmed tree in back yard as well.

Description of Work: I contacted and asked estimation for several projects. Based on their estimate, I selected two tree trimming projects and they implemented very efficiently with heavy machines, high lift and 6crew members. Finally they cleaned yard. |I paid 200.00 initially ordered, and paid 187.00 after completion. If they do same activity next year, I will order something.

Description of Work: Removal of tree and was supposed to grind out stump. Trim tree in back yard also. The job was completed and we thought it was completed correctly until we went to plant a new tree. That is when we discovered that they only grinded out about 5-6 inches of the stump. We had purchased a new tree that morning and now were imagining it being dead because there was no way to did a hole and plant it. We called Sherdec, no answer, so we left a message. Connie did however call back right away, but only to tell us that there was not anyone in on Saturdays and that Tod was out of town for a week. She said she would text him a message. Since we had a tree sitting in our driveway we had no choice but to spend more money and rent a stump grinder and finish the job. We never did hear back from Tod.

Description of Work: Trimmed the trees about the house. Sales person made it sound like I would notice a huge difference in the trees. I did not, but trees are trimmed. We shall see if I get 2-3 years out of this. they did do an excellent job of clean up.

Description of Work: I thought they did an excellent job. Todd came out and gave me an estimate (I had a coupon from Angie's List that was included). He marked the work to be done and his crew of 4 men came out and did what I had asked. I plan to have them come back to cut down a diseased elm tree when my lawn is not as soft as it is in the spring.

Description of Work: They trimmed my birch, magnolia and weeping cherry tree. I was also pleased that they identified a bug infestation on one of my evergreens and sprayed that. Sprayed my magnolia with something to slow down it's grown. All in all, a great job, reasonable price and very polite and professional staff.

Description of Work: Dead-wooded trees and raised canopy. I called them back to touch up a couple of dead and low limbs I thought they missed. They were very receptive and immediately scheduled a fellow to come back out. I was happy with the price (tree work is always expensive) and was told a certified arborist was on the job. However, one large permanent branch did have a rather large gash where the chainsaw accidentally cut into it. I'd say 1/2" to 1" deep. I gave a C for quality because of that gash. Upon return to the site, was told it was not deep enough to get to the cambium layer and should not be a problem. |I gave them a D on punctuality because they were scheduled to be at my home early morning, but did not come until early evening. Was too late to do any work that scheduled day, thus they had to come back the next day. A phone call to keep me informed that they were running very late would have been welcomed. |I gave them an A for price, responsiveness and professionalism. They were very polite and genuinely trying to do a good job and making sure I was happy with their work. |Overall, at this time, I am satisfied and will probably use them again.

Description of Work: A large tree branch had split. They installed a cable and bracing bolts, trimed above roof and treated the tree with Cambistat to reduce growth and improve health, They did what we wanted, were very professional, cleaned up after themselves. They were on Angie's special big deal. Could not have been happier with the company.

Description of Work: Removed 2 very large trees close to my home. Removed 4 other trees as well. Overall great job.

Description of Work: Two Dogwoods and one Japanese Maple pruned. One Canadian Spruce removed. Trees were also treated to slow the growth at Sherdec's suggestion. All branches, leaves, etc. were cleaned up and hauled away.

Description of Work: Requested a cost estimate for the removal and maintenance of several trees. They did a great job explaining everything and provided a fair estimate. Decided to go with a company which had a bit lower estimate and better rating. Very professional in their approach.

Description of Work: I called at 8am September 15th, the day after the severe windstorm because I had a huge tree that was blown down in the storm. The girl I spoke with asked if the tree was on my house. Since it wasn't she said I would be put on a non emergency list, that they already had 40 people with trees on their houses that they would deal with 1st. I waited 2 weeks with no call from them. I called again and the woman sounded surpised when I told her I had been waiting 2 wks. She said that she would give my number to the man who sets the schedule. I am writing this review on Nov 6th and have NEVER received a call back from Sherdec. I hired someone else to take care of my fallen tree. I continue to hear their advertisment on the radio. My advice to Sherdec if you don't plan on servicing people who call to hire you, advertising is a waste of money.
