Description of Work: First time we used this company and were very impressed. We called them on Monday morning in the middle of a snow storm, having never talked with them before, and were very pleased when they sent a technician to us within a couple of hours. Our house was freezing cold and we were getting desperate; our furnace had stopped working on the preceding Friday and we were trying to heat the house with space heaters. We've had a lot of problems with the furnace over the past 5 weeks and 2 other companies had been out to attempt to solve our problem with little success. Schneller's sent technician Kevin out in blizzard conditions to help us get our furnace working. In less than an hour, Kevin diagnosed a malfunctioning electronic board. He drove to Cincinnati (we live in Kentucky) in the middle of a blizzard to pick up the part, then returned and had it installed within the hour. The reason it cost so much is because our particular furnace uses an expensive electronic board. I can't tell you how grateful we are to Kevin, who took the time to explain our furnace and thermostat to us in a respectful and very patient manner. He is an awesome technician. I rated the company an "A" because their response, punctuality, and professionalism really were better than any other company I've dealt with in the past 20 yrs. That's pretty amazing! Also the service person answered who answered my phone call in the morning was super nice and reassuring. That made me feel like we were dealing with a company that is trying to have good customer service. | |The best thing about the entire experience is they sent a technician to us who was professional, forthright and knowledgeable, which is kind of what you want when you are spending money to repair your furnace. We went ahead and bought the service contract because we plan to use this company in the future and hope that we get Kevin the next time around.

Description of Work: Replaced a 75 gallon power vent water heater. The initial installation was not done properly and not to code. After the installation, the pipes feeding the house started leaking. They promptly corrected the issue but had to also correct the initial installation. The second technician was very good and helpful. In the end they stood behind their work. However, it should have been done correct in the first place.

Description of Work: We had our failing water heater replaced. The techs were knowledgeable, were careful to protect our carpets, and very diligent. The water heater they brought was damaged, which they found when they removed the box. They went for a replacement, and found the second one also damaged. It was only superficial, but they felt it was not right to install a less than perfect appliance. The third one was perfect. They apologized again and again for the inconvenience. They carefully explained how it works and what we should do to care for it. I am VERY impressed with them, and will definitely use them again, and recommend them highly!

Description of Work: They replaced an existing garbage disposal with a new one. They charged $600.

Description of Work: The service was timely, technician did a good job. However, what he did was to clean out two traps. The charge was the $200., and then there was a fee for the house call that was not mentioned in the offer. When we complained, this was refunded. Looking at the actual work done, and the amount of time it took, this service is not $400. worth of work, so the "discount" is not a deal at all to us.

Description of Work: I purchased a $59 deal for an ac tune up and foam cleaning. After I purchased the deal, I contacted them to schedule it and they said they don’t service my area. They weren't very much helpful and their website had inaccurate information.
