Description of Work: Removed entire HVAC system & replaced total HVAC (Trane furnace & A/C.) This was a big job and Jim & Nick spent over 12 1/2 hrs doing it in one day. It was very hot, steamy, and as miserable of weather as you could have, at least it didn't rain. |Pete Knochelmann provided our sales support and was the only sales person who actually conducted anything similar to a Manual J analysis. He didn't just recommend a swap/replace but did the entire analysis which was required due to improvements already made and impending improvements. He was very professional, answered all our questions and quickly provided responses for items we needed further clarification on. Pete's a very knowledgeable guy and extremely patient with inquisitive customers. | |It was this attn to detail that cemented it for us. When the installers arrived, we weren't disappointed either. They were professional, and highly knowledgeable and very skilled. The install had a couple of hickups but with such an extensive background, they were able to completely resolve them. The resulting system is beautiful, clean, quiet & efficient. We saw a reduction in our electric bill to be around $50 to $100/mth so far, so we're very pleased with that result. | |One note, if you've not paid attn, the A/C outside unit sizes have gotten enormous. Ours stands almost 5 ft tall, but it's neat, clean, and they installed a brand new pad, so even though the size shocked me, it's very quiet and hardly noticeable. It's not far from our bedroom window, but it's alot quieter than the old unit. | |We haven't run the furnace yet except for a brief test that day. But we expect the same results. | |They have a knockout service and warranty plan and their office staff submitted all the documentation to extent the warranty to 10 yrs and get our Duke rebate!! Kudos to a great staff! | |We're pleased to continue our service relationship with this company and would highly recommend them to anyone considering having their HVAC replaced. One thing I would recommend is that you do it right before it goes out though, since these guys tend to be very busy when the weather is being rough.

Description of Work: This plumber was ethical and very helpful in determining the cause of low pressure. He adjusted a pressure release valve and we haven't had any problems since. Highly recommended.

Description of Work: I paid to have bleeder valves replaced on two external hoses, and a corroded pipe in my basement replaced. The work was done promptly, but one of the bleeder valves was installed in the wrong direction and it had a leak, so I had to shut the water off to the whole house until the plumber came back to remedy the issue. I paid for the annual Maintenance Agreement as the discount it included offset the cost of the repairs, but based on the attention to detail in my first experience, I'm not sure I want these people wrenching on my HVAC system.

Description of Work: Alex came to clean & check the furnace & told my husband (who's handicapped & can't go to the basement)that the furnace was running hot & the ductwork insufficient(furnace is about 8yrs old). He recommended a duct eval. I made the apt & was told it take up to 4 hrs. Alex was there for 1 hr & part of the time explaining to me why ductwork insufficient. That was $450. He didn't do more than the first visit. The proposal emailed to me was vague & unclear & the cost would be $2,525. I contacted Rechtin Heating for a 2nd opinion. Their cost to evaluate the ductwork was $79. Mike was great & answered all my questions & recommended an extra pipe from the old cold air duct to the cold air exchange plus an extra vent at floor level at a cost of $560. I feel Schneller took advantage of us and is running a scam. I will never use nor recommend them in the future.
