Since my heating and a/c system is over 20 years old, I decided to replace it.

Eliminated sump pump as potential cause of basement flooding and provided recommendation for company capable of sealing basement against future flooding

With recent (mid-May 2020) heavy rains, when I didn't hear the sump pump running, I thought maybe it needed replacing. Also, it was likely time to clean out the main drain, in case tree roots were in there again (which can cause floods). Crew came out, and they were personable, but not wearing masks. (I asked them later; they said some customers were uncomfortable with them. I was wearing a mask, however.) They cleared the drain; with the $89 service call charge, total was $288. Not bad, although many firms will not add the service charge if you have work done. I did NOT have the sump pump worked on, as that was quoted as $650! Not to dig a hole, mind you, just installing a sump pump (which costs about $200 at Home Depot). Cost is the only reason why I'm giving them a "B;" I had no problems with the technicians. As it turns out, I checked the pump myself, and it wasn't running because there wasn't much water in the hole (?). After I poured some in, the unit turned on. If I do need a new pump in future, I'll buy/install myself.

My original HVAC was 15 years old and the motor on the heat pump was going bad so I replaced the whole system. They did the work in less than a day. These guys are real good!

It went great, Scott quickly gave me an estimate which I accepted. They had a good 50 gal water heater on the truck which they installed. They did the required plumbing and gas line modification, cleaned up and were done in a timely manner. Scott then explained the workings of the hot water heater, how to re light the pilot light and set the temperature. He also explained exactly what they had done, they even installed a pan under the unit to catch any water. I think they went beyond the necessary work and am very pleased with them and my new water heater.

Arrived on time, work effectively, communicated well. No issues there. However, he didn't practice social distancing at all times. S&K should review this topic with their techs. It protects them as well as the customer. The tech that performed out furnace tune-up 2 weeks earlier also didn't practice social distancing.

They troubleshooted & found leak was part of dishwasher .& I would need appliance repair person, or new dishwasher......they also fixed a hose faucet leak for me.

Feed line under sink and valve had clog. Checked faucet for obstructions and found all OK so went next to feed line and valve to find washer had deteriorated inside. Turned off hot water at the water heater and checked water heater & pressure tank. Advised that water heater and pressure tank will need replacement soon. Replaced valve under sink and flow was fully restored on hot water side of faucet. Took about an hour. Techs were pleasant and knowledgeable.

Used them for an HVAC repair and they were fine; when we needed a sump pump replaced they attempted to up sell us by thousands of dollars and charged 330 dollars just for an estimate. Terrible experience, would not use again

Nick did a fantastic job. It was not an easy fix and it took longer than expected but Nick stuck with it until the issue was fixed. We’re so grateful that we can flush our toilets again!

Super Nice Tech. Matt W. He came in and explained what he was going to be checking. And off he went, what seemed to be a short time later the check up was complete. I felt comfortable with him in my home doing the job.
